Chapter 502: Chapter 321: Exchange Competition Location, Choose 1 of 3; Blood Ranch, Inner Earth World, Knight Continent
The sphere of light in the middle: Inner Earth World.
World Introduction: This is a subterranean world with a unique geological structure, containing multiple hollow worlds around the planet’s core. These inner earth worlds are inhabited by a variety of rare Giant Beasts of immense research value. It is known that there are two to three Beast Kings possessing Ninth Level Power.
Mission Content: As a team, hunt the Beast Kings possessing Ninth Level Power and obtain at least one Beast King’s Heart. Killing smaller Giant Beasts and mining the Inner Earth World’s unique minerals for submission will also award corresponding Points. The team with the most Points at the end wins!
The sphere of light on the far right: Knight World.
Mission Introduction: You will travel to a world that has only Fighting Qi. This world has no flashy Magic, only Fighting Qi that has been cultivated to its zenith! However, this world of Fighting Qi is home not only to the Human Race, but also to Beastmen, Elves, Dwarves, and goblins...
Mission Content: As a team, you will have one hundred natural days to conquer the native civilizations of this world. You will be awarded Points based on the population, mineral resources, unique culture, and so on, of the civilizations you conquer. The more native civilizations conquered, the more Points awarded. The team with the most Points at the end wins!
Once all the cadets had finished reading the descriptions, Vice Admiral Qin Rui continued to speak.
"The method for choosing the world for the third round of the University Alliance Training Camp is simple. Each federation will select one cadet to be their representative. The five representatives will stand together on the starting line of this track."
Vice Admiral Qin Rui pointed to the track behind him.
"When I give the signal, the five representatives can use any means at their disposal to rush toward the spheres of light 500 meters away. Whichever sphere of light a federation’s representative touches first is the world we will travel to for the third round of the University Alliance Training Camp competition.
"Furthermore, the representative who secures the sphere of light will also receive a hidden mission. This hidden mission can be shared with your squad or team to raise your total score. Or you can keep it for yourself."
Vice Admiral Qin Rui deliberately raised his voice.
"There are only two rules for competing for the spheres of light. First, you are not to kill or cause any irreversible harm to the other representatives. Second, you cannot use any equipment or items. You must rely solely on your own abilities."
His gaze swept across the crowd below the stage.
"Now, I’m giving you ten minutes to select your representatives. In ten minutes, the third round of the University Alliance Training Camp’s exchange tournament will officially begin!"
As soon as his voice fell, the cadets from the Five Major Federations erupted into a commotion.
There was no dispute among the Yanhuang Federation. All the cadets turned to look at Zhang Yi. Between his strength and his status as their overall team captain, he was the obvious choice!
Over with the White Eagle Federation, however, a dispute seemed to break out. After a brief argument, Elias, the Candidate Saint Child of the Church of Light, ultimately stepped forward, though his expression was sour. After all, a small number of the cadets who had originally supported him had switched their support to the Candidate Saintess, Emily! If his strength hadn’t been the greatest in the White Eagle Federation, he might very well have been replaced today.
As for the Giant Bear Federation, the burly, brown-haired youth Andre grinned, patted his chest, and walked out amidst the cheers of his companions. He simultaneously released his aura, revealing his power at the Peak of the Eighth Transformation.
Meanwhile, the Holy Roman Federation had some difficulty choosing their representative. The young noble, the young scholar, and the Royal Princess refused to yield to one another, as all three wanted to be the representative. After all, if they played their cards right, becoming the representative was a chance to expand their base of support. Furthermore, if the chosen representative managed to secure a mission world that suited their federation, it would prove they were superior to the other two. It wasn’t until Vice Admiral Qin Rui’s ten-minute deadline was nearly up that the three of them seemed to reluctantly reach a consensus, putting forward Royal Princess Sofia as their representative. She also possessed the power of a Peak of the Eighth Transformation.
The Third World Federation, after a brief discussion, chose a short, dark-skinned young man named Harimo. He, too, was an Eighth Transformation Demigod.
While the cadets from the other federations were still deliberating over who their representative would be, Zhang Yi had already arrived at the starting line of the track. Gazing at the three spheres of light five hundred meters away—a distance that felt like practically nothing to him—he began to think.
If I have to choose, which world should I pick? The one most advantageous for me? Or the one that minimizes the advantages of the other four federations?
His gaze swept across the three spheres of light, and in his heart, he had already made his decision.
Within the Zhang Yi Divine Realm, he possessed the already-loaded Five-star Divine Domain Card, Ancient Heaven. It seemed that choosing the Blood Ranch mission world would be most advantageous for him.
Ancient Heaven’s Effect Two, Angel’s Power, imbued the attacks of the Clans in the Zhang Yi Divine Realm with Light Power. Attacks imbued with Light Power have their lethality increased by 40% and also deal 10% True Damage to Dark Creatures. Moreover, the Clans within the Zhang Yi Divine Realm already had combat experience against the Vampire Clan.
