Chapter 250: Chapter 205: I’m Waiting for the Forbidden Curse Spell, What Are You Waiting For? Looting a Burning House for a Free Five-star Divine Domain Card
Hu Jinxin watched the Black Oil ignite, unleashing a raging inferno within his Dogman Corps. His gaze then shifted past the vast sea of fire to Zhang Yi’s Tree-man Corps and Elf Corps, both poised for battle.
The flicker of hesitation in Hu Jinxin’s eyes was instantly consumed by madness.
"I haven’t lost yet!" Hu Jinxin roared at Zhang Yi. "I still have my main force of three thousand Giant Demons! I still have a final trump card!"
Hu Jinxin was in a frenzy. "It’s all or nothing! I can still win!"
Using his remaining Divine Power, Hu Jinxin transmitted his entire battle plan into the mind of the Two-headed Giant Mage Leader.
"ROAR! ROAR! ROAR!" the Two-headed Giant Mage Leader bellowed in acknowledgement.
Seeing the enemy’s Giant Demon Corps forming up behind their burning brethren, Zhang Yi felt no need to rush. The shattered barrels had splashed Black Oil everywhere, and the ignited substance now formed a continuous, five-kilometer-long belt of fire. Zhang Yi estimated it would burn for at least two hours, which gave his Elf Mage Corps the perfect opportunity to recover their Magic Power.
Zhang Yi was waiting for his Elf Mages to recover their strength so they could cast a Forbidden Curse Spell. But what were Hu Jinxin’s Giant Demons waiting for?
The wind fanned the flames, causing the conflagration to grow ever larger. Behind the barrier formed by the Tree-man Corps, the Elf Mages cast Water and Earth Attribute magic to lower the ambient temperature, resting and recovering their strength.
While the Elf Corps and Tree-man Corps rested, the dispatched Elf Scouts were not idle. Having gained the Elf Druid Profession, the scouts took a short rest before immediately transforming into eagles, soaring into the sky to conduct reconnaissance on the Giant Demon Corps’ movements.
Meanwhile, amidst the flames, the surviving Giant Demon Warriors in the rear were commanded by the Two-headed Giant Mage Leader. They began collecting the remains of their comrades who had been splattered with Black Oil, those who had rolled on the ground in agony, unable to extinguish the flames until they burned to death. A cruel yet resolute look appeared in the eyes of many of the Giant Demons.
Waving their Bone Staffs, the Giant Shamans gathered the corpses of the Kobolds and Giant Demons who had burned to death or suffocated from the thick smoke. They added them to the Evil Array that had been previously constructed from flesh and bone. The Giant Shamans chanted spells passed down from ancient times, waving their Bone Staffs.
Suddenly, the Evil Array they had constructed, which was over ten square meters in size, flared with a piercing, blood-red light. An evil aura permeated the Magic Array.
"WOOF WOOF WOOF!"
"AIIIEEEE!"
With stones and wooden posts tied to their bodies, the half-dead Kobold slaves, who had just been bled, shrieked in terror at the sight. Their drawn blood was used as fuel to activate the Evil Array. The remaining survivors were treated as living sacrifices, and the evil Magic Array began to drain their Life Force directly.
The same fate befell the flesh and bone thrown in earlier, as well as the fresh corpses of the Kobolds and Giant Demons just added to the Magic Array.
A power, vaster and more evil than before, began to surge endlessly into the body of the Two-headed Giant Mage Leader. The nexus connecting the leader and the Magic Array was now so tangible that even ordinary Clan Soldiers could see it.
"ROAR—!!!"
Both heads of the Two-headed Giant Mage Leader let out a simultaneous roar of pain and fury. Its body swelled once more, instantly reaching a height of six meters. Its muscles were knotted like stone, strange blood-colored totems surfaced on its skin, and it radiated a suffocating aura. If an ordinary Kobold stood before the Two-headed Giant Mage Leader now, a single blow would smash its skull as easily as cracking a watermelon.
The power acquired by the Two-headed Giant Mage Leader briefly reached its peak. After its strength reached the limit of the Ninth Level, the two-headed master of Magic and Martial Dual Cultivation held a Bone Staff over two meters tall in one hand and a three-meter-long Wolf Fang Club in the other.
It shouted loudly, "For the Giant Demon Tribe! For the great God of Giants! Clear away all the Tree-men ahead, crush the weakling Elves!"
At its command, the red aura that had been emanating from its feet, already spanning over thirty meters, suddenly expanded to a diameter of one hundred meters. The two thousand Giant Demon Warriors enveloped by the blood-red aura felt their muscles swell, and they grew another dozen centimeters taller, adding to their original height of three to four meters.
Led by the Two-headed Giant Mage Leader, these two thousand Giant Demon Warriors charged like runaway chariots, fearlessly plowing into the four-meter-high wall of fire.
Such a high wall of fire... are they planning to just charge straight through it?
Elf Legion Commander Feiyana, who was constantly observing the enemy, almost thought the intense heat from the flames had cooked their brains.
Just then, the Giant Shamans, who had remained in the rear, made their move. Numerous frost auras and totems enveloped the Giant Demon Warriors, granting them fire resistance. The Two-headed Giant Mage Leader, master of both magic and martial arts, led the charge, plunging into the inferno with two thousand Giant Demon Warriors in his wake.
As the first of the Giant Demon Warriors burst through the wall of fire, clots of burning, solidified Black Oil were visible clinging to their skin.
