Giant Dragon Lord: Starting from Daily Intelligence

Chapter 837 - 557: Red Dragon Emperor Aragon II

Chapter 837: Chapter 557: Red Dragon Emperor Aragon II

Their Magic Robes billowed without wind, hair and beards dancing wildly as each person endured unimaginable pressure. Mage Wendel’s powerful Spiritual Power covered the entire cape, forming an invisible mental Barrier.

"Lord Silver Moon Blade, we’re counting on you," Raylo sent a message to the Silver Dragon, Silver Moon Blade.

"Leave the sky to me," Silver Moon Blade responded.

Then, a vast and majestic aura veiled the high vault of heaven like a net, isolating all prying eyes.

Raylo’s gaze pierced through the dazzling magical radiance, falling upon the true essence of the Array. In his "Eye of Rules," the sight before him was far more shocking than a mere torrent of energy. He saw that, with the "World Anchor" as the core, countless slender yet tenacious lines of rules were forcibly dragged out from the deep underground of Cliff Horn, intertwining and fusing with the Magic Power patterns of the Array. These lines formed the most fundamental framework of this space.

The Mages’ Magic Power, coursing through the "Magic Rail," acted like billions of invisible hands, grasping these Space Rules lines and beginning to reweave and distort them!

"So that’s how it is..." a flash of understanding passed through Raylo’s mind. He finally understood why this required such colossal Magic Power and so many Mages.

They were prying a Star. Using the entirety of Cliff Horn as a pedestal, endless Magic Power as the driving force, and tens of thousands of Magic Crystals as gears, they were moving a massive Star with a stable orbit!

Meanwhile, the three "Space Waymarks" that Fernando Mage had placed on the keel of the Church Fleet were now flickering with an imperceptible light. They acted as three lighthouses spanning three hundred kilometers, providing a clear destination coordinate for the attracted Star!

HUMMM.

The earth bearing the Array began to groan under the overwhelming burden, and dense, fine cracks surfaced on the hard rocks. The seawater surrounding Cliff Horn was pushed away by an invisible force, forming a massive vacuum zone.

At this moment, the sky darkened. It wasn’t the sun being obscured by dark clouds, but a higher level of darkness—as if all the light in this area had been siphoned away by an irresistible force.

In the center of the Array, Mage Delin’s face was slightly pale, but his eyes were astonishingly bright. He and the other nine Catastrophe Mages simultaneously pointed their fingers toward the firmament!

"Lock on... to the Star!"

A will condensed to the absolute limit surged into the sky, instantly tearing through the atmosphere and plunging into the profound void of the universe. In Raylo’s vision, he saw that Spiritual Power act like an invisible thread, crossing an immeasurably vast distance to precisely "latch" onto a cold, dead Star suspended in the dark vacuum. It was a lifeless, massive Star composed entirely of grayish-white rock.

Then, they began to pull its trajectory!

Meanwhile.

Atop the Cloud Sea Peak, far above Cliff Horn, two figures stood suspended in the void, looking down at the churning storm below.

One was Austin Sage, wearing a simple gray robe, his aura blending seamlessly with the sky. The other was a burly middle-aged man adorned in an opulent, dark red robe embroidered with dragon patterns. He had Flame-like red hair and a dignified visage that commanded respect without anger, his vertical pupils seemingly flowing with molten lava. Every gesture he made exuded the domineering majesty of a sovereign ruling the world.

He was the Emperor of the Red Dragon Empire, Red Dragon Emperor Aragon II.

"Austin Sage, your Mage City truly stays silent until it’s ready to astonish the world," Aragon II’s voice was deep and sonorous. "This is the first time in a thousand years that the Star-Attracting Array has been aimed at a living being within our own world, isn’t it?" he sighed.

"It is determination," Austin Sage said indifferently. "To show our resolve to that lofty Divine Spirit, and to show the Mage City’s determination to the entire Continent. This world is no one’s pasture, nor is it any Divine Spirit’s."

"Determination..." Aragon II chewed on the word. "Well said.

"I believe the conclusion you’ve drawn—that the Light Deity is encroaching upon our world. To this hypocritical Divine Spirit, his so-called believers are merely pawns, and their so-called faith is just a tool to manipulate hearts."

Looking at the radiant glow of the massive Array below and sensing the will probing into the void to pry a Star, he lamented, "It seems that after today, the world will truly change. A war sweeping across all races and nations has already raised its curtain."

Austin Sage did not speak, simply gazing quietly downward. The war had already begun; it started the moment the Light Deity cast a greedy eye upon this world. Today, the Mage City had merely blown the Horn of counterattack.

Just then, their gazes sharpened simultaneously. They sensed a terrifying pulling force forming at Cliff Horn, connecting heaven and earth.

The "Space Strings" linking the mortal realm and the cosmic void were pulled completely taut!

At Cliff Horn.

Raylo jerked his head up. He "saw" that the invisible thread connecting to the distant Star gave a violent yank after accumulating enough Power! In the cosmic void, a massive Star that had drifted for eons was seemingly pushed by an invisible giant hand, deviating from its ancient, eternal orbit.

It... began to move!

Though it had only shifted by an insignificant fraction, for the locked coordinates, an apocalyptic catastrophe had already descended!

RUMBLE!

The sky was no longer just darkening. It had completely turned to night! Everyone felt a palpitation and panic originating from their very souls, as if some indescribable horror was descending from beyond the highest heavens!

A faint light that did not belong to this world appeared on the pitch-black canopy. At first, it was just a bright speck the size of a pinprick. But just one minute later, it grew to the size of Silver Coins. Three minutes later, it was as large as a disk, radiating a chilling glow that made hearts palpitate!

A "Sun" had risen in the darkness!

Mage Delin’s face was slightly pale, yet he revealed a crazed and ecstatic smile.

"World Destruction Forbidden Spell!

"Fallen Stars!"

Three hundred kilometers away, in the Northwest Sea Region.

A massive fleet consisting of over a thousand warships was braving the wind and waves. On the deck of the flagship, the "Holy Light Glory," the fleet’s supreme commander, Saint Lorand, wore silver-white Holy Armor, his golden hair fluttering in the sea breeze. He gazed at the distant coastline with a confident smile playing on his lips. As the Holy See’s youngest Catastrophe Level Divine Mage, he possessed his own pride. This expedition aimed to open a new battlefield in the Northern Continent, spreading God’s glory across every inch of the land.

"Pass down the order: maintain formation and advance at full speed. Before nightfall, I want to see the walls of Baisha Port trembling under our cannon fire!" Lorand ordered.

"Yes, my lord!"

However, just as his words fell, the light in the once clear blue sky inexplicably began to dim at a visible rate. In a mere dozen seconds, the entire world was plunged into a pitch-black darkness where one couldn’t even see their own fingers, as if daylight had been instantly erased by a giant invisible hand.

Panic began to spread throughout the fleet.

"What’s happening?!"

"An eclipse? But the Priests didn’t predict this!"

The deck of the fleet instantly descended into chaos. Countless sailors and soldiers looked up in terror at the bizarre, unprecedented canopy above—a sky with no stars, no moon, just endless darkness.

"Quiet!" Lorand’s voice struck like a thunderclap, instantly suppressing all the commotion.

His heart sank; he had experienced countless battles, but he had never seen such a bizarre astronomical phenomenon in his entire life. "Priests! Investigate the cause immediately! Is it a massive Illusion Technique or some kind of Celestial Magic?"

Several accompanying white-robed Divine Mages immediately sprang into action. Holy Light flared in their hands as they attempted to dispel the darkness, but it was like tossing a pebble into the ocean—utterly useless.

"My lord... it cannot be dispelled! This... this isn’t an Illusion Technique!" a Divine Mage said with a terrified expression, his voice trembling.
