Giant Dragon Lord: Starting from Daily Intelligence

Chapter 655 - 469: Harnessing the Catastrophe Level Demon Serpent Puppet

Chapter 655: Chapter 469: Harnessing the Catastrophe Level Demon Serpent Puppet

The Fighting Spirit in his body automatically circulated to disperse the chill.

And this was just an inanimate object.

Raylo held the heavy Demon Head. He could clearly see an invisible power flowing slowly beneath the scales of ice crystals on its surface, like living blood in its veins.

"I have completely dispelled the Demon Serpent’s will from within."

Gu’s voice sounded from the side.

"It is now merely a shell, possessing Power but no will. A weapon... waiting for its master."

He looked at Raylo, his murky eyes revealing little emotion.

"Imprint your spiritual will upon this Main Magic Core. From now on, it will be an extension of your will, a part of your body. Your thoughts will be its actions."

Raylo nodded. He understood what Gu meant.

This Catastrophe Level Puppet had no soul of its own.

’And he, Raylo, will become its soul.’

He hesitated no longer. Sitting down cross-legged, he placed the Demon Head known as "Ice Wind" flat upon his knees.

He closed his eyes, and his entire aura instantly became tranquil.

A wisp of invisible yet incredibly solid Spiritual Power, like a fine silver needle, extended from between his brows and cautiously pierced into the Ice Wind Demon Head.

Suddenly, Raylo’s body trembled.

His consciousness felt as if it had been instantly dragged by an immense suction force into a cold, dark, and boundless world.

This was the inside of the Ice Wind Demon Head.

There was no light, no sound. Only Elemental Energy of ice and snow, pure to the extreme, flowed slowly around him like a river of stars.

He could sense that an incredibly powerful, violent, and chaotic will had once existed in this ocean of energy.

But now, that will had been completely erased, leaving only the purest, most primal energy.

It was like a sheet of paper wiped completely clean.

Raylo steadied his mind.

His Spiritual Power began to carve his own mark into this ocean of energy.

It wasn’t a simple contact, but a deep fusion.

He merged his will, bit by bit, into this pure energy.

The process required extreme concentration and an immense expenditure of Spiritual Power.

Raylo’s Spiritual Power transformed into an invisible carving knife, etching his name onto this blank slate called "Ice Wind."

He couldn’t feel the passage of time.

In his perception, it felt as if a century had passed.

Finally, as he carved the final stroke.

The entire ocean of energy inside the Magic Core trembled violently!

The Ice Elements, which had been flowing independently, seemed to have found their king.

They began to rotate rapidly around Raylo’s Spiritual Branding, forming a massive and deep vortex.

Raylo felt that he had established an intimate connection with this Magic Core, with this Puppet, a bond as close as flesh and blood.

He could clearly perceive its every structure, its every Energy Circuit.

He could even feel this cold shell yearning to awaken!

Raylo’s eyes snapped open.

His face was somewhat pale, and his forehead was covered in fine beads of sweat, but his black eyes were astonishingly bright.

"It’s done."

He whispered, then stood up. He lifted the Ice Wind Snake Head, now connected to his will, and with a powerful thrust of his arm, flung it toward the sky!

"ROAR!"

A silent roar exploded in the depths of everyone’s soul!

The ferocious snake head in mid-air suddenly snapped its massive jaws open!

WHOOSH!

With the snake head as the epicenter, a fierce gale erupted within a radius of several thousand meters!

The mirror-like surface of the Black Water River was instantly torn apart, sending monstrous waves surging.

The snow and loose rocks on the surrounding peaks were swept into the air by the gale, forming a sky-obscuring blizzard.

Moonlight and the other little ones had appeared nearby at some point.

They felt the terrifying pressure and all lowered their bodies, letting out uneasy growls from their throats.

Only Grand Elder Gu remained standing where he was. His straw cape and conical hat whipped about in the fierce wind, but his stooped figure was as unmoving as a mountain.

Under everyone’s watchful gaze.

The snake head, hovering in mid-air, began to expand in the wind!

Its size swelled madly at a terrifying speed visible to the naked eye!

Scales made of ice crystals rapidly condensed and spread across its body.

A long, mystical serpent’s body, formed from pure ice and snow, rapidly extended from behind the head!

Ten meters!

A hundred meters!

Five hundred meters!

A thousand meters!

In just a dozen breaths, a terrifying giant serpent over a thousand meters long, carved entirely from the purest ice crystals, was fully formed!

It hovered above the Black Stone Mountain Range, its enormous body slithering slowly, blocking out the light of the sky.

Sunlight refracted through its translucent, crystalline body, creating a seven-colored halo—magnificent, yet filled with deadly danger.

Its every breath condensed large patches of ice crystals in the air.

Its every movement stirred up a bone-chilling wind strong enough to tear steel.

This was the Catastrophe Level Demon Serpent Puppet.

Ice Wind!

Raylo looked up at this masterpiece he had "awakened." Feeling the world-destroying Power that was perfectly in sync with his will, an unprecedented sense of heroic pride surged in his chest.

With a thought.

The Ice Wind Demon Serpent in the sky slowly descended before Raylo.

"Let’s go."

Gu’s voice sounded.

Raylo nodded, leaped up, and landed steadily on the Ice Wind Demon Serpent’s broad back.

The surface beneath his feet was cold and hard.

Gu’s figure, like a weightless leaf, floated down lightly beside him.

"Hold on tight, Elder."

A smile touched the corners of Raylo’s lips.

He focused his will once more.

"ROAR!"

The Ice Wind Demon Serpent let out a roar that shook the heavens. This time, the sound was not a psychic shriek but a real roar, born from the friction of gale-force winds and ice crystals!

Its massive body suddenly whipped around, instantly transforming into a streak of white lightning that pierced the heavens. It tore through the sky, speeding toward the northern horizon!

’As expected of a Catastrophe Level being.’ The speed of the Ice Wind Demon Serpent surpassed Raylo’s imagination.

It didn’t fly by relying on wings or brute force, but by commanding the wind itself.

Its entire enormous body seemed to merge with the currents of the world. Every movement was like a short-distance jump through space.

Standing on the serpent’s back, Raylo and Gu felt no turbulence or wind at all.

A barrier of ice crystals, invisible to the naked eye, perfectly sealed them off from the howling air currents outside.

He looked down.

The mountains, rivers, and land below were flying backward at an astonishing speed.

The continuous mountain ranges became a series of undulating lines in his eyes.

The winding rivers resembled shimmering silver ribbons.

A human village appeared and disappeared from his sight in the span of just a few breaths.

’This is true Catastrophe Level speed.’

Gu remained as impassive as ever. He stood with his hands behind his back, his stooped figure looking somewhat small on the vast expanse of the serpent’s back.

His murky gaze was fixed on the distance, his thoughts unknown.

Moonlight, Sun, Coal Ball, and Lightning, on the other hand, were exceptionally excited.

They ran back and forth on the broad back, curiously sizing up this new "big guy."

Coal Ball, in particular, seemed very interested in the pure Ice Wind Power of the Ice Wind Demon Serpent. It would occasionally hop to the edge of the serpent’s body, cautiously extend a paw to touch it, and then quickly pull it back.

An hour passed in the blink of an eye at such an extreme speed.

The Ice Wind Demon Serpent’s speed gradually slowed.

Raylo felt an ancient, heavy, and desolate aura begin to permeate the space ahead.

The Earth Element in the air became abnormally dense, even to the point of being visible to the naked eye.

Wisps of a pale yellow halo floated in the air, like fireflies on a summer night.

"We’re here."

Gu’s hoarse voice sounded in Raylo’s ear.

Raylo raised his head and looked forward.

Ahead, in the midst of the mountain range, an enormous gap appeared.

Flanking the gap were two thousand-meter-high peaks that had been sheared in half. Their cut surfaces were as smooth as mirrors, as if they had been cleaved by a god’s Giant Axe.

Within the gap lay a vast mountain valley that stretched beyond the horizon.

This was the forbidden land the Dogman Wizard had spoken of: "Giant’s Sleep."
