He walked over to a massive sand table, which displayed a miniature model of the entire Black Stone Territory.
The nascent Black Stone City sat at the juncture of the mountains and the plains, like a wedge driven firmly into the land.
"By the way, Ed."
Raylo said.
"Yes, My Lord."
"The Legendary Mages, Master Delin and Master Wendel, should arrive in the next day or two."
Raylo stated.
"They will be bringing Avril and Lillian with them. I want you to personally arrange for their reception. Make sure there are absolutely no oversights."
"Yes, My Lord!"
Ed’s expression turned solemn.
The personal visit of two Legendary Mages was an immense honor for any territory.
Raylo considered for a moment, then continued with his instructions.
"As for their food and drink, remember to ask the two Masters for their preferences."

Having given all his instructions, Raylo once again turned his gaze out the window.
The Sun had risen, its golden radiance piercing the clouds and gilding the edges of the nascent city in a warm light.
