Chapter 601: Chapter 443: The Giant Shop and an Audience with Great Elder Gu
Raylo said nothing.
He untied the Spatial Bag from his waist, and a faint, almost imperceptible ripple appeared in the space around him.
The next moment.
CLANG!
Hundreds of giant Weapons materialized from thin air, glinting with a cold metallic light as they crashed down onto the thick Stone Slab floor.
BOOM!
The entire two-story stone building shook violently, and dust rained down from the rafters.
The mountain of Weapons instantly took up nearly a third of the shop’s space.
It was a small mountain built from War Axes, Giant Hammers, Broadswords, and Long Spears.
The air filled with the rich scent of iron and fire.
It was the lingering smell of quenched metal.
The ten Hill Giants, who had been busy at work, all froze in unison.
They slowly turned, staring blankly at the shocking scene before them. Their Adam’s apples bobbed uncontrollably, making a gulping sound.
They gazed at the small mountain of Weapons.
There were hundreds of Weapons, and every single one of them far surpassed any standard-issue weapon they had ever seen. The collection was even more extensive than the entire armories of many tribes.
Not only were there more, but they were also of far superior quality.
Gordo stepped forward. He picked up a massive Battle Hammer, about as tall as he was, engraved with two enhancing Magic Patterns: Solid and Giant Strength.
He channeled just a sliver of Power into it.
HUMMM!
The Battle Hammer let out a low hum as an aura as heavy as a mountain erupted from it, making the surrounding air feel thick and viscous.
A fervent light blazed in Gordo’s eyes.
"Sir, Weapons of this quality... are we really going to sell them?"
In his eyes, this was a strategic reserve sufficient to arm an elite Giant Legion.
"Sell."
Raylo’s answer was a single word.
"Sort them by category and put them on the shelves."
"Yes, sir!"
The ten Hill Giants were instantly energized. They began to carefully move the Weapons.
Soon, the crude stone shelves were filled with what could only be described as "works of art" in the world of Giants.
Raylo watched this unfold and waved his hand again.
Ten massive weapon racks materialized out of thin air.
Then, ten giant Weapons, their auras far surpassing all the others, levitated under Raylo’s control and slowly settled onto the individual racks.
Each of these ten Weapons radiated an even more powerful aura.
Compared to the other Weapons, they were not only larger, but also crafted from superior materials, possessing greater tenacity. They were tough enough to withstand the Power of a Domain Level Giant.
They were the prized treasures of this Blacksmith Shop.
"Open the doors," Raylo commanded faintly.
...
The shop’s location was indeed remote.
The heavy stone doors were slowly pushed open, letting in the blinding sunlight, which in turn illuminated the room full of "cold gleams."
At first, no Giants paid any mind to the new shop at the end of the alley.
A relatively "small" Hill Giant was walking out of a weapon shop, looking dejected. He had just spent a long time arguing with the owner over a new Iron Axe for himself, but ultimately gave up because he was short on funds.
He walked irritably down the alley when he happened to glance up and see the new shop at the far end.
"A Blacksmith Shop?"
He muttered to himself and, with a sliver of hope, walked over.
The moment he stepped into the shop, he froze.
’What am I seeing?’
A dazzling array of exquisite Weapons, casually placed on the shelves, each one glinting with a cold light.
The smooth lines, the overwhelming aura of sharpness...
He felt his breath catch in his throat.
"Th-these..."
His gaze quickly locked onto an entirely black Two-Handed Giant Sword. A blood-red groove ran down its blade, exuding a cold, bloodthirsty aura.
"Customer, would you like to take a look?"
A clerk—one of the ten Hill Giants—stepped forward and asked tentatively.
"Th-this sword... how much is it?" the "small" Giant stammered.
"Two sets of Tier Four Magical Beast Materials, or the equivalent value in other Magical Beast Materials and raw materials."
"I... I’ll buy it!"
He practically roared the words, afraid the other would go back on the offer. He made the clerk promise to hold the sword for him, then turned and sprinted off to get the materials.
Half an hour later, he returned with the materials, completed the transaction, and was about to leave, shouldering the Giant Sword like a priceless treasure.
Just then, another tall Hill Giant happened to be passing the entrance of the alley and saw the Weapon on his shoulder.
"Wait! Hall! That sword... where did you get it?"
The tall Giant rushed over in a few strides, grabbing Hall’s shoulder. His eyes were glued to the black Giant Sword, filled with shock and greed.
"It’s... it’s the Carlo brothers’ shop!"
Hall excitedly pointed at the shop behind him.
"The Carlo Kado brothers! The ones who sold over twenty Domain Level Weapons at the last auction! Their shop is open!"
Those words...
...were like a block of ice dropped into boiling oil.
The crowd instantly erupted.
"The Carlo brothers’ shop?"
"The same Carlo brothers whose single Weapon had three Domain Level masters fighting over it?"
"Quick, let’s go see if it’s really them!"
The news spread through the trading market at a terrifying speed.
After the last auction, the names of the two brothers, Carlo and Kado, had already spread throughout the Giant circles, coming to represent the pinnacle of Forging craftsmanship in the Giant City-State.
In less than ten minutes.
The remote alley, once deserted, was now packed so tightly you couldn’t even squeeze a drop of water through.
Hundreds of Hill Giants waved their arms and let out huge roars, desperately trying to shove their way into the small shop.
"Let me in! I want that Meteor Hammer!"
