"Do you just want to stay at my place while I’m gone?"
"Are your parents not going?"
"They are."
"Then I’ll just tag along," Qin Yuenan muttered, taking a small bite of her steak. "Why would I stay at your house all by myself?"
"But my grandpa’s hometown is in the countryside." Lin Shen scratched his head. "The environment isn’t that great. Plus, with so many of my friends and relatives around, I’m worried you’d feel awkward."
"It’s fine." Qin Yuenan shot him a provocative look. "The whole point of me going home with you this time is to make sure everyone around you knows who I am. That way, it’ll save you the trouble of bringing any other woman home."
Her words rendered Lin Shen completely speechless.
He had previously figured that since he was bringing Qin Yuenan home, Jiang Wan naturally shouldn’t miss out on the same treatment. After all, he had to keep things fair and treat them equally.
