She answered her phone, her expression shifting from stunned silence to pure ecstasy.
"Okay, darling! I’ll be right there!"

"Yes! He’s right at the school gate!"
Overjoyed, Zheng Yanfei did a little spin on the spot. She quickly checked her outfit in the full-length mirror, and once she was satisfied, she hurried out of the dorm room.

"Are you coming back tonight?"
"I won’t be back."

Cheng Xiao crossed her arms and scoffed.
"She just won’t listen. I’m telling you, she’s going to get seriously hurt sooner or later! Does she really think dating some rich kid is that easy? She’s being completely manipulated and doesn’t even know it!"

Lin Shen pulled his car over to the side of the road and called Zheng Yanfei.
A moment later, she came jogging out to meet him.
As always, the little girl was dressed to the nines for their date.
A black dress with a petal-hem skirt outlined her graceful figure. Accessories like a beret, lace-trimmed gloves, and a handbag added a touch of "sweet but cool" style.
And on her fair, delicate legs, she was even wearing fishnet stockings!
Paired with platform Mary Janes, the whole look had a classic, chic vibe.

The moment she saw Lin Shen, Zheng Yanfei threw herself into his arms so hard her hat was knocked askew.
"I missed you so much!"
"Sorry, work ran late."
Amid the envious gazes of the surrounding students, Lin Shen held Zheng Yanfei’s soft body close and asked gently.
"Have you been waiting long?"
"Nope."
Zheng Yanfei stuck her tongue out playfully and looked up at him with a grin.
"To be honest, I only just woke up around noon, hehe."
Even though Zheng Yanfei didn’t seem to mind how late he was for their date, Lin Shen still felt a pang of guilt.
’After all, she gave me her first time. The least I can do is show her I care.’

Lin Shen chuckled, patting her head.
"So that was the ’gift’ you wanted?"
"Yep!"
Zheng Yanfei took Lin Shen’s hand and nuzzled her cheek into his palm like a kitten, her eyes filled with deep affection for him.
