Chapter 451: Gyeoul Airport

Chapter 451: Gyeoul Airport

“I really want to have a go at them, but I’m afraid that I wouldn’t be able to handle it alone. Hmm, I should just mark this place and see if I can get the others with me to come back here. Though coming back here with Shadow would be the ideal choice, though that jerk would only be back the day after tomorrow, and the chance that he would just refuse is high as he’s still on the other side of the continent doing his Main Quest. I should do mine sometime too after this”

Solitary Tempest seems to really ponder a lot on this. Though it’s understandable since a lot was added to the game during the recent update.

One of the new additions was the [Monster Encyclopedia] that records monsters that players encounter in their journey.

As mentioned, this new function records the monster’s appearance, shape and color or anything unique about them. It also records where to find them, what loot they drop and their weaknesses.

Most importantly, every new monster found and recorded by a player would give them a random reward by the system, and because of it, it quickly became popular among the player base and started a short trend of players journeying to places that are even considered terribly dangerous with their current levels.

Much so that it even started mass expeditions of both big and small guilds in the game.

“I’ll just circle around them, it’s not worth dying here if I ever get surrounded, but not beforeā€¦”

Record Monster

When Solitary Tempest uttered those words, through her naked eye, she was something like a laser that appeared out of nowhere and scanned one of the ants from front to end before scanning one of the larger ants.

Grounder – Worker Ant

Worker Ants, a species of one the few ant monster species. As the name suggests, a Grounder is both the forager and also the worker ant of a colony and works alongside the males. They can be found living around the Forest of the Despair. Caution is a must when near them. They don’t fight alone.

Weakness: ???

Aner – Soldier Ant

Soldier Ants are larger, stronger and have powerful mandibles that work like pincers to fight off predators threatening their colony. They work alongside their Worker Ants. They can be found living around the Forest of the Despair. Caution is a must when near them. They don’t fight alone.

Weakness: ???

“It seems I wasn’t the first to discover them,” said Solitary Tempest when she didn’t hear the notification after recording the ant monsters.

In the end, she didn’t want any more trouble than it already is being all alone in the Forest of Despair that’s crawling full of dangerous monsters capable of giving a kingdom a run for their money.

“Found it! Storm Moonlight really was telling the truth that there’s an abandoned mine here”

For almost an hour, Solitary Tempest looks worse for wear after walking through the difficult and rough terrain of forest, and meeting monsters along the way just made her day not any better because of it.

Though her efforts had paid off when she finally arrived at her destination.

Standing on the tree line, before her is a small open field with weeds reaching her knees with a few boulders sticking out just above the weeds, and in the middle of this is a tree that’s twice as large compared to the other trees surrounding it.

“According to the map Storm Moonlight gave me, that’s the tree, so I guess I’m at the right place” Solitary Tempest mumbled to herself while checking on the map that Storm Moonlight gave her yesterday.

“Jen wouldn’t have survived the journey if I brought her with me. Thought I felt guilty lying to her that I’m just going to look around even though I have other plans in mind”

Throwing the map back into her [Inventory], Solitary Tempest darted her eyes around for a few moments, and when she found a suitable spot that she was looking for, she went over towards that tree and climbed it.

“Hmmm, I think this place works. No one would even know I’m here after logging back in” she said after reaching a particularly large branch of the tree she’s on that has a lot of leaves, not only from the tree itself but also from the neighboring trees, making the place a good hiding spot for ambushes or just for hiding as it also provides a very clear view of the surrounding terrain.

Being so meticulous in such a dangerous place where only a few people have probably arrived would have looked somewhat a little funny to the perspective of others.

After all, it’s not like there would be other players as insane as hers and actually travel deep inside the Forest of Despair, right?

Well, with the exception of Shadow and the few brave Rankers that actually managed to cross this natural barrier called the Forest of Despair.

“Better safe than sorry”

Shua!

Solitary Tempest gave one last look at the surroundings before leaving the game.

But not even a few minutes later after she left, a large group of players were actually approaching the direction of where Solitary Tempest had disappeared from.

“She’s really good at hiding her tracks. This kind of skill would certainly cause headaches to any pursuers, but against I, the number one thief in the game, it is useless to run away from me”

Meanwhile,

Back in the real world, 11 PM, Gyeoul Airport.

An unexpected duo arrived at the airport along with their menacing air that would repel anyone from approaching them.

Just their presence alone even alerted the airport security as there were a lot of them watching them from a safe distance.

“I never expected those people would be hiding in this country”

Genesis and Monk arrive outside the airport, and waiting for them at the front is a convoy of luxury cars.

Most especially, the three SUVs in the middle that look pleasing and intimidating at the same time.

“Let’s go, we have a lot of things to do tomorrow”
