Chapter 1867: It's Okay, I'm Happy About It
Chapter 1867: Chapter 1867: It’s Okay, I’m Happy About It
Yu Hongyan, as the future mother-in-law, was truly satisfied, “Ganggang loves to make a fuss; having him like this complements the other perfectly.”
After a satisfying lunch, Jiang Yue and Xue Yan helped clean up the table, and then they sat in the main hall and chatted for a while until it was time for Xue Yang’s studies. It was then that Jiang Yue and Xue Yan began to teach their baby some new knowledge. Usually, they taught their baby martial arts in the morning and literary skills in the afternoon.
Bai Xing, because he had been drunk, didn’t wake up until the next day and made his appearance again.
After finding the right person and checking the dates, they confirmed that in twenty days, there would be an auspicious day suitable for the engagement. So, twenty days later, Bai Xing and Xue Ganggang got engaged first.
Xue Sanfu received the news and came back as soon as he could.
Xue Wufu, Fu Ying, Xue Dangdang, and Emperor Hao, among others, were too far away. By the time they received the news, it would have been too late to make it to the engagement, so they did not return.
After the engagement, Xue Ganggang just needed to mention going to see Bai Xing, and Xue Sifu, Xue Bai, and Xue Shi would immediately give their permission without insisting she stay at the main shop to study.
Xue Ganggang was then able to visit the Beast World more frequently, helping Bai Xing develop that world together. The Beast World was developing fast, not yet comparable to Bai Xing’s Xinyuan County but increasingly resembling his Peace Town. Both Bai Xing and Xue Ganggang led a very fulfilling life.

Time flew by.
On the 24th of July, it was Xue Yang’s fifth birthday. After celebrating this birthday, Xue Yang was set to start schooling at Shengming Academy in town.
He would also start living in his own room.
However, since he was still young, Jiang Yue and Xue Yan also moved to town to drop off and pick up their baby. Naturally, they continued teaching their baby martial arts there.
They were perfectly capable of teaching literary skills themselves, but considering their baby should attend the academy to meet peers, make more friends, and develop social skills, they decided to leave the literary education to the academy.
In Xue Yang’s fourth month at school, Jiang Yue became pregnant again.
Xue Yang was overjoyed, daily tilting his little head, asking, “Is it a brother or a sister?” Jiang Yue and Xue Yan would say they didn’t know.
Xue Yang would then quickly add, “It doesn’t matter; I’m happy either way.”
Jiang Yue and Xue Yan would then stroke their baby’s little head.
Medical science in Bai Xing’s world was naturally not as advanced as in the apocalypse; they hadn’t discovered Jiang Yue was carrying twins when the hospital in the apocalypse had already detected it.
Upon hearing she was having twins, Xue Yang was so excited he was nearly delirious, “I’m becoming an elder sister! I’m an elder sister again; to two!”
Since Jiang Yue was pregnant, Li Hehua couldn’t help but worry. Even though Xue Bai was no longer studying at the academy and she didn’t need to stay in town, she moved back to the town residence nonetheless to take care of Jiang Yue.
Jiang Yue had become a member of the Xue family at the age of three and a half. Li Hehua had always not only treated her as a younger sister but also raised her as a daughter. Although Jiang Yue called Li Hehua her elder sister-in-law, she also saw her as her mother. The mother’s concern was understandable to Jiang Yue, who naturally didn’t refuse Li Hehua’s offer to come and take care of her, even though her husband was already taking good care of her.
Shao Youyue also came to town to take care of Jiang Yue, along with Li Hehua.
That led Emperor Hao and Xue Yifu to also stay in town. They couldn’t possibly sleep alone every night. After all, they too had wives.
