Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3764: Divine Attack

Chapter 3764: Divine Attack

People surrounded Alex, but no one wanted to be the first to attack. They had seen how easily he had taken care of the dozen people, so they didn’t want to be next.

Firefang changed their mind. She stepped forward and punched, throwing out a strong fist full of fire that flew toward Alex at quick speed. Alex dodged two of the attacks and swiped away the third one.

He stepped forward, punching through the fourth one, and reached the front line of cultivators before the next attack could come.

The moment Alex arrived close by, they all attacked.

Thousands of different attacks were concentrated on Alex, all coming for him at the same time. They struck him around the same time, creating a massive explosion that shook the ground all around them. Several sand avalanches went around the secret realm from those attacks.

When the dirt and smoke cleared away, a massive crater lay where Alex had been, with the sand at that location already turning to glass from the heat. And yet, despite all of those attacks, Alex stood with not a single change in his appearance. There wasn’t even a scratch on him.

Such a sight caused the group to back away in fear.

"How is that possible?"

"Why isn’t he hurt?"

"Did he use an artifact?"

No one truly understood how Alex could’ve blocked the attacks of so many Immortals all by himself.

Alex took advantage of the confusion by dashing out of the crater at extreme speed and landing right before a group of people. He pressed his palm forward, throwing out a bright yellow attack that landed on a few people, breaking their defensive techniques and tossing them far away.

He turned next to another group and punched in their direction. Four golden spears flew toward them, each one creating an explosion that took care of several more people. Ice spears formed around him a moment after that, and they flew at the people, most of whom tried to protect themselves, but failed.

Within a few seconds, Alex had taken out a chunk of the community’s number, sending it dwindling down.

He turned to another group, which this time held Firefang. He struck out with his palm attack again, which flew toward the woman.

However, before it reached them, a giant golden dome suddenly formed around the group, upon which the attack landed and disappeared.

Alex’s eyes narrowed immediately as he realized what had happened.

His eyes moved toward Su Nian, who was slowly moving forward, getting ahead of the others.

Alex waited for the man to fully come out.

"I do not understand what you are doing or how you have such strength, but I can tell that your cultivation base is genuine, not something you’ve hidden from us," the man said.

Alex slowly nodded. "That would be correct. Does it matter?"

"Of course," Su Nian said. "It means you are not an Immortal Spirit realm cultivator. Which means you do not have access to Divine Qi. And no matter how strong you are, you cannot beat someone with Divine Qi flowing through their body."

Alex held a small grin. "I would say otherwise, but I don’t think you will believe me. Anyway, you wish to fight me directly, is that it? You don’t want to involve these people?"

Su Nian nodded. "None of your victories here matter in the end. All that matters is your loss. And I would rather not force you to waste your energy fighting them all. It wouldn’t be fair for you to have to challenge me once you’ve gone through them all first."

Alex narrowed his eyes. "You confuse me quite a bit, Brother Nian. One moment, you are cheap and hoarding, and the next, you’re righteous and magnanimous. Is there a reason?"

"I like what I have, and I want to keep it," Su Nian said. "That doesn’t mean I’m going to humiliate others. So, let us just fight and get this over with."

Alex paused for a moment and smiled. "Very well," he said as he got into a defensive stance. "Let’s begin."

Su Nian twisted his fingers, causing several golden lights to form around him. Several of those turned into giant arrows, and several others turned into swords. A second later, he made the smallest motion, and the attacks flew through the air at an unstoppable speed, striking at Alex.

Each one of those attacks was formed with Su Nian’s Divine Qi, thus making this a proper divine attack.

Unfortunately for Su Nian, Alex had already fought and defeated people stronger than him.

A layer of red surfaced around him suddenly, turning into armor.

Alex didn’t bother to put up a defense beyond that. His blood armor was enough against Su Nian.

When the outcome of the attack wasn’t what Su Nian had expected it to be, his eyes narrowed into a frown as he was unable to make sense of the situation.

"What’s happening? What’s that?" Su Nian asked. "You’re not allowed armor."

"I don’t believe that is the case," Alex said. "We’re not allowed items that are external. This just happens to be the opposite of that."

Alex’s blood armor turned liquid suddenly, moving around him in strange fashion before reforming into the armor.

Su Nian was left stunned, barely understanding what he was looking at. "Is that... your blood?"

"Yes, it is," Alex answered.

"And your blood is capable of withstanding my divine attacks?" he asked.

Alex grinned. "It very much is."

Su Nian went through everything he knew about anything and attempted to find answers in the events that had happened. And yet, there was nothing there that told him just what Alex had done in this moment.

"Unless you wish to try once again, I’m afraid it is my turn next."

There were no clouds in the sky at that very moment, but it suddenly started raining. Or at least, that was what people thought when they saw what Alex did next.

"Beware," Alex told Su Nian before he began. "You’ll need to give up immediately when I reach you."

He started walking forward.
