Matsuo faced Sol on his own, this time deciding to unleash and showcase the strength he has gained through these last two weeks of intensive training.
As he faced the Miniature Suns approaching rapidly, his Aura erupted from his body, growing larger and stronger, overflowing with Ki and Mana combined as one.
Suddenly, as he unleashed his magical powers, dozens of Paper Charms emerged out of his own equipment, previously attached to it for emergencies.
In fact, they weren't just a few dozens, as Sol realized they were actually hundreds of them!
Each Paper Charm boosted Matsuo's Magic Power even further, while containing powerful Runes to enhance the power of Spells and Techniques, serving as medium for large-scale formations.
Matsuo's family used these paper charms in a variety of duties, but most of them specialized on magic enhancement, protection, and stealth.
And yet, Matsuo used their power to make a powerful Spell, calling upon the divinity of Amaterasu-sama herself.

The paper charms glowed to the point they became completely golden in color, each rune arranged itself around Matsuo within a split second as he unleashed a gigantic formation in an instant!
The formation activated, releasing a mighty ray of pure divine sunlight against all the incoming Miniature Suns, blowing them up in midair and ultimately catching up with Sol!

Sol groaned in pain as he used his armor and his divine sword to resist the attack, but the sheer divinity and magic power it carried seemed never-ending!
"NNNGGRAAAHHH!"
Although Sol couldn't speak in his brainwashed state, he let out a mighty roar as he swung his sword! His Heroic Soul erupted, resembling an ocean of endless solar radiation and flames, clashing against Matsuo's spell and pushing forward, beginning to split the entire beam apart!

"This bastard's sure damn strong…!" Matsuo smiled in disbelief. "Good thing I'm extra prepared this time."
"{Heavenly Sunshine Echo}: {Divine Solar Rain}!"
He smiled, grabbing his staff again and then infusing Mana into it, as the staff suddenly enhanced the power of his spell and divided it into dozens of smaller beams, surrounding Sol and bombarding him constantly.

"Uuaaagggh!"
Sol groaned in agony as he was unable to keep up anymore, his armor quickly shattered into pieces and even his sword seemed to grow weaker, glowing less and less. His body, which had gained immense durability and strength from his Heroic Soul Awakening, rapidly weakened, his skin began burning.

His body collapsed on the pavement down below, making the entire city within the Domain rumble, shattering into countless pieces as a massive crater was formed, with Sol down there.
"U-Uuuggh…! Haaahh… Haahh…!"
Sol slowly started standing back up again, his Aura grew stronger, as his wounds began to heal over time… Matsuo's eyes squinted, realizing that this bastard could potentially massacre them all if he didn't put a stop to him once and for all.
"Dammit, I'll have to use it right away when I wanted to save it for something else…"
He quickly pulled out a special paper charm from his pocket, made of black paper and imbued with several hundreds of tiny red runes into it, each rune resembling
He infused Mana into it and then rushed down towards Sol.
"NNGGAAAH!"
Sol roared back like a beast, his eyes glowing bright red, he leaped towards Matsuo, his sword about to cut Matsuo into two halves.

And it did!

However, Sol quickly realized that what he cut down wasn't Matsuo, but a copy of him made of light, the real Matsuo, using light reflection, became invisible in that moment, appearing behind him.
And sticking the black paper charm into his back.

Sol let out a groan of pain before his entire body became devoid of energy, his Mana was sealed, his Kin was sealed, and even his own Soul Powers were instantly sealed, his body was wrapped on magical chains made of light, as he fell from the skies, hitting the ground with a loud thud.

And this time, not waking up again…
"Hah, he appears to be alright, but this was sure a waste, this is a paper rune that costs all my damn points…" Matsuo sighed. "Hah, what a mess… And just as I- Hm?"
However, the battles weren't over, Matsuo ended relaxing slightly, realizing a few seconds too late that hundreds of blazing arrows were rushing down towards him!

He quickly touched the ground, his Aura and his Paper Charms touched the pavement and formed a small barrier around him, golden runes spiraling around constantly, as the light created a cube-shaped formation, a Holy Barrier, one of his families' specialties.

The bombardment of fiery arrows didn't stop as it constantly bombarded Matsuo, if he had been a second too late, he would have had to endure all that damage, which could have easily caused his death.
"Where's Frank and the rest…? I know they were fighting…!"
He quickly looked into the distance, Frank and Erika were battling Elfina, meanwhile, Harumi used her claws and her Blood Magic to attack Fiere, while rushing to face her head-on, as the magic archer was all the way up in the skies, abusing her long-ranged magic attacks.

Frank emerged amidst the smoke provoked by Elfina's attack; his body completely healed back. And his aura transformed, shaped as a heavenly angel of light and void… Matsuo and everyone else glanced at the scene, realizing he had managed to trace one of Elfina's overpowered spears completely.
"One Hundred Percent Traced!"
With his eyes blazing with determination, Frank stepped forward, as Elfina, wielding both spears, rushed towards him and confronted him, her spears unleashed a barrage of powerful attacks, darkness, light, void, and emptiness merging with each one.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
Frank quickly used the traced spear as he defended, his Aura, resembling an angel of light and void spread its wings around him, protecting him from a lot of the damage, while he thrusted his spear forward, activating several of its Skills consecutively.
