Chapter 1536: Even More New Skills For Silva

Chapter 1536: Even More New Skills For Silva

As Silva decided to take a nap as she felt strangely tired despite lacking a fleshy body, I decided to check her stats first, and just when I tried, something popped up.

[S i l v a] has reached Level 6!]

[S i l v a] learned the [Sharpness Enhancement: Lv1] Magical Skill]

[S i l v a] acquired the [Gluttonous Eater: Lv1] Title Skill]

Ooh! She leveled up already. It seems she’s Level 6 out of 10. Unlike the other Egos who are “broken” and need to repair themselves to full, she came already repaired in a way, without problems, so she’s showing an amazing growth. Perhaps she might be able to Level Up and Evolve without needing to be Repaired like it happened with the Egos. That’s certainly a plus.

And she also learned a lot of EXP by eating her own Summons, that’s kind of unfair. I don’t get any EXP by eating my Chaotic Beasts. And they cost so much MP that is not even worth it to eat them, what a pain…

Seeing her Stat Growth, it seems heavily inclined towards increasing MP and Magic, but also sharpness and the agility of her movements too. Maybe because she’s a Knife? And well, she got two new Skills. One seems unintentional though, it seems she got the “Gluttonous Eater” Title Skill due to eating so many of her Summons?

I am rather ashamed I haven’t gotten that one myself despite priding myself into eating like a pig. I think this might be because there are special requirements for this Title Skill I had yet to meet? Or maybe the Uroboros Skill is already a greater version of it, so I don’t get to get this shiny yet weaker version.

I might as well check the Skill to see if what I am thinking is true or not.

[Gluttonous Eater: Lv1]

The Lesser version of [Taboo: Uroboros]. A Title Skill that can only be acquired if the user has eaten over a hundred prey within a time frame of less than a minute. Only recently killed living beings count within this category. This is a Title only bestowed upon those that have devoured more than they would be able to even digest. A truly aberrant act that might even negatively affect them, yet somehow, it doesn’t.

This Title Skill grants a boost to +30% to all Stats (which increases with each Title Skill Level) whenever the user has eaten in the last hour a large quantity of food. Additionally, food can recover HP and MP. However, the user constantly feels more hunger than others, as if they had an insatiable stomach.

—–

Oooh, I see how it is. The Title Skill is quite literally a lesser version of [Taboo: Uroboros], it says right there, so I guess I should had never doubted it. It grants an amazing series of benefits, so I suppose Silva is really gifted with great things to enjoy with this.

Anyways, moving on, there’s a more simplistic Skill, which is, to be exact, a Magic Skill. These types of Skills are related with the direct conjuration of Magic, they always cost MP, and often have magical and powerful effects better than Normal Skills and the like.

—–

[Sharpness Enhancement: Lv1]

A Magic Spell that enhances Sharpness in a target. By conjuring it, it can enhance the sharpness of a target object, increasing their damage dealt by +20%, their critical chance by +50%, and ignores 20% of total Defense when attacking. The effects last one hour and there is no cooldown. As the Skill Level rises, the power of the Skill increases. Can be used in the wielder of the Skill if they happen to have a compatible body.

—–

What? This is just ridiculously good! With this she can enhance herself to deal more damage- wait, she can also conjure it on Black and White, right? Then this means she’s even more overpowered than I had imagined! With this one single Skill, which sounded so simplistic, she suddenly not only became stronger herself, but an even better supporter. By using this on Black and White, and perhaps in all the equipment of our soldiers, we could greatly enhance our military prowess, which will be of great necessity for what’s to come next.

“Zzzz…”

Silva was still sleeping, but I kind of wanted to wake her up to talk about her Skills. However, I ended feeling rather bad about doing that, so I decided to simply go hunt for more food for her. She had also fully recovered her MP after leveling up, but she was still sleeping soundly, back to her Knife Form. So I just left her floating at my side while peacefully sleeping.

Of course, she doesn’t have a face so anybody will just think she’s just a floating knife. But as the contractor of her Ego, I am capable of sensing her emotions and her state. And naturally so, I can also see how she’s doing, feeling, and so on. It is quite obvious she’s sleeping soundly and feeling quite tired about the hard work she did today. I feel bad so I’ll let her sleep a few hours, but later, I’ll wake her up so we can summon more monsters and feed her some more. I plan to get at least some Ogre Warriors and Blazing Salamanders, maybe a hundred of both… If that’s even possible to begin with.
