Chapter 484: Official Disciple
Chapter 484: Official Disciple
"You are too fortunate, Elder Cui. First it was Sun Xiurong and now Lin Feng..." Han Kuang sighed and left.
"We will take our leave too..." Duan Lie said and looked at Lin Feng. "I have high hopes for you..."
Lin Feng gave a slight nod before Duan Lie and his disciple departed.
"Well then, I am going to the Alchemy Pavilion. I will see you later, Sister Cui..." Qin Ruoxuan said with a slight smile.
"I can already imagine what you are going to do..." Cui Shuyin shook her head.
Qin Ruoxuan’s smile widened, and she disappeared.
Cui Shuyin looked at Lin Feng and nodded with satisfaction. "I am happy that you decided to come to the Sword Pavilion, Feng’er. At least from now on, I don’t have to worry about Xiu’er’s recklessness anymore..."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Sun Xiurong asked with a confused expression.
Cui Shuyin shrugged her shoulders. "If you take any dangerous mission, then all I have to do is ask Feng’er to stop you. Something tells me that you will not refuse him..."
Sun Xiurong looked at Cui Shuyin with a blank expression without blinking. Somehow, it was the truth.
Cui Shuyin smiled at Sun Xiurong’s stare and patted Lin Feng’s shoulder. "Let us go to your new home, shall we..."
Cui Shuyin picked Lin Feng up and flew away while Sun Xiurong followed behind.
They were not flying fast, so Lin Feng got to see the sect as they passed between the mountains.
The mountain peaks were enormous, and he could see various pavilions scattered across them.
Sun Xiurong pointed toward a specific area filled with pavilions and a large square at the base of two mountains. "That is the main sect. Most of the sect competitions and common training pavilions are there..."
Lin Feng looked toward it and noticed a few disciples, but most of the area was empty. It was not surprising given the fact that cultivating in meditation to comprehend Laws was the highest priority above the Initiation Realm.
"That area belongs to the Origin Pavilion, and that slightly taller mountain is the main peak..."
Lin Feng looked toward the right side of the main sect and found the peak Sun Xiurong was pointing at.
A mesmerizing scene entered his eyes. The mountains were mostly connected, and all the peaks were covered by clouds. Various waterfalls cascaded down those peaks, creating countless rainbows around them.
The same breathtaking scene stretched as far as he could see beyond the main sect.
"It is beautiful, isn’t it?" Cui Shuyin asked calmly, reminiscing about the first time she had seen it. Something like this was impossible in the lower worlds because those seemingly small waterfalls were mostly formed from Spirit Qi.
Such a dense concentration of Spirit Qi brought a sense of tranquility, which was important for meditation.
"It is..." Lin Feng nodded.
Cui Shuyin looked at Lin Feng and shook her head without saying anything.
"What happened?" Lin Feng asked, slightly bewildered.
"Nothing. I was just expecting you to be awed by this sight, but it seems you were not awed at all..."
Lin Feng nodded in understanding before smiling faintly. "I have seen better..."
He wasn’t lying, he had even seen waterfalls made up of immortal qi in primordial dimension, so getting awed from this was impossible for him.
Cui Shuyin looked at Lin Feng deeply for a while before sighing. "I do not know whether I should doubt you or believe you..."
She truly did not know what to make of his previous claims. It was impossible to believe them if he really came from the lower worlds. She shook her head and pointed toward a towering peak with a massive cliff beside it. "We have arrived. This is the Sword Pavilion’s main peak..."
Lin Feng was already looking toward it. The cliff was what caught his attention because he could clearly sense the Sword Intent emanating from it.
The main peak beside it was just as imposing as the Origin Pavilion’s main peak, and at this moment they were only halfway up its full height.
The next moment, he felt their speed increase, and just a few breaths later, he landed at the summit where various pavilions stood.
"Let us get your token first..."
Cui Shuyin brought him to a particular pavilion. After entering, Lin Feng saw a female disciple at the Peak Manifestation Realm sitting behind the reception desk.
The woman immediately stood up and bowed. "Elder Cui, you have returned..."
Cui Shuyin nodded. "Did anything happen while I was away?"
The woman shook her head. "Nothing important..." She then looked at Lin Feng with a curious expression before turning her gaze to Sun Xiurong. "Junior Sister, it is good to see you back..."
Sun Xiurong nodded before Cui Shuyin gestured toward Lin Feng.
"Zhi’er, this is our new disciple, Lin Feng. Give him a token and sect robes..."
Zhi Hui was surprised before nodding. "Alright..."
She went into an inner chamber and returned with three sets of robes and a token placed on top of them. "Welcome to the Sword Pavilion, Junior Brother Lin..."
Lin Feng accepted the robes and token before nodding with a smile. "Please take care of me, Senior Sister Zhi..."
Zhi Hui smiled. "Of course I will..." She pointed toward the token. "Bind it to yourself by dripping a drop of your blood onto it, Junior Brother..."
Lin Feng nodded. He pricked his finger with his teeth and forced out a drop of blood before the wound healed. As the blood fell onto the token, several runes lit up before Lin Feng felt a faint connection with it.
He understood that the token had been inscribed with an array that used a trace of Karmic Law to establish the bond.
" What is that regeneration.." Zhi Hui got stunned as she saw Lin Feng’s wound close instantly.
Cui Shuyin and Sun Xiurong were little stunned too.
" Just how many secrets are you hiding Feng’er.." Cui Shuyin sighed and looked at his body deeply, wondering if it was some physique.
Lin Feng just showed her a small smile without saying anything.
