Chapter 1280:- Much Needed Rest
Chapter 1280: Chapter 1280:- Much Needed Rest
While Riya was healing Aditya, Athena looked at the other girls.
"All right, everyone. We should help him get comfortable."
Hearing this, everyone turned toward her. "First, we need to remove his damaged clothes. Then we’ll clean his body with a wet cloth and dress him in a fresh set of clothes."
She then glanced toward Riya. "Riya, you can continue healing him while we take care of everything else."
Riya nodded while focusing on healing him. "Of course."
Athena then added, "I also have a Six-Star healing potion. Once we’re done cleaning him, I’ll make sure he drinks it."
Hearing this, Lilith looked toward Athena. "A Six-Star healing potion? Isn’t that extremely valuable?" Normally, anyone under 5th-order cannot consume a six-star Healing potion. As a -star healing potion or any 6-star potion in general tend to have too much energy. Especially six-star healing potions are so full of vitality that anyone under 5th-order will simply explode after consuming them.
Athena nodded. "Yes, but Aditya’s condition is more important."
She looked down at the sleeping Aditya before continuing. "His natural recovery abilities are already very powerful. With Riya healing him and the effects of a Six-Star healing potion, his recovery speed should increase significantly."
"If everything goes well, all of his injuries should be completely healed by tomorrow." After all, as the Supreme Commander, Aditya have to be present for the crucial battle of tomororw.
Hearing this, the other girls felt relieved. Although they knew that Aditya possessed an extremely powerful physique, they had still been worried that his injuries might take several days to heal. However, with Riya’s healing abilities and a Six-Star healing potion, his recovery would be much faster.
"Then what are we waiting for?" Sasha asked.
Athena smiled slightly. "Let’s get started."
The girls immediately began following Athena’s instructions. First, they carefully removed Aditya’s shoes and placed them beside the bed. After that, they began removing his damaged clothes.
However, they had to be extremely careful while doing so.
Several of Aditya’s bones were still fractured, and moving his arms or legs too suddenly could cause him more pain. Because of this, the girls worked together to make sure that his body was moved as little as possible.
Whenever they needed to lift one of his arms or adjust his position, they did so very gently.
Meanwhile, Riya continued healing him. The soft green light surrounding her hands remained steady as she focused on repairing his damaged bones. As the healing continued, some of the smaller fractures slowly began closing.
Although the more serious injuries would require additional time, his condition was already starting to improve. After removing his damaged clothes, the girls brought a bowl of warm water and several clean pieces of cloth.
They then began gently wiping away the dried blood, dirt, and dust covering his body. Athena carefully cleaned his face, removing the blood that had dried around his nose, mouth, and cheeks.
Lilith and Sasha helped clean his arms and shoulders, while Freya and Rin took care of the remaining areas. They were especially careful around his chest because they knew that most of his ribs had been fractured.
Even though Aditya was sleeping deeply, none of them wanted to accidentally cause him pain. Throughout the entire process, the girls worked together without arguing or wasting time.
After all, their main concern was making sure that Aditya was comfortable and properly taken care of. There was also another reason why Athena had asked everyone to help. Every woman currently inside the tent was someone who would eventually become Aditya’s wife. They were all important people in his life, and each of them cared deeply about him. Furthermore, almost all of them already shared some form of intimate relationship with Aditya.
Because of this, helping him change his clothes or clean his body was not something that made them particularly uncomfortable. The only exception was Amelia. Unlike the others, Amelia had not yet developed that kind of intimate relationship with Aditya.
Although she had grown much closer to him, their relationship had not reached the same stage as the others. Naturally, when Athena suggested that everyone should help remove Aditya’s clothes and clean his body, Amelia felt a little embarrassed.
However, she did not refuse. After all, Aditya was seriously injured, and she genuinely wanted to help him. She understood that this was not the time to become shy over something so small.
Because of this, Amelia tried her best to maintain a calm expression. She acted as though nothing about the situation was making her uncomfortable. At least, that was what she believed. Unfortunately for her, Athena had already noticed the faint redness appearing on her cheeks.
Although Amelia was trying to hide her embarrassment, the slight change in her expression was enough for Athena to understand what she was feeling.
’She’s trying so hard to act normal.’ Athena thought with a small smile. However, Athena did not say anything. Under normal circumstances, she might have taken this opportunity to tease Amelia a little.
After all, Amelia’s reaction was rather amusing. But right now, Aditya’s condition was far more important. Athena had no intention of embarrassing Amelia when everyone was supposed to be helping him recover.
Furthermore, Athena already knew that Amelia had developed romantic feelings for Aditya. Although Amelia had never openly admitted those feelings, Athena had noticed the way she sometimes looked at him.
The small changes in her expression whenever Aditya spoke to her, the way she became slightly shy when they were close, and the concern she showed whenever he was in danger were all signs that Athena had noticed.
As the Goddess of Wisdom, Athena was naturally good at understanding such things. She knew that Amelia’s feelings toward Aditya were no longer limited to simple friendship or admiration.
There was genuine romantic affection in her heart. However, Athena believed that Amelia should be allowed to understand and express those feelings at her own pace.
There was no reason to rush her. For now, Athena simply allowed Amelia to help the others without drawing attention to her embarrassment.
Meanwhile, Amelia continued assisting with the cleaning. Although her cheeks were still slightly red, she carefully helped remove the remaining dirt and blood from Aditya’s body. Seeing the terrible injuries he had suffered made her feel even more worried about him.
She had always known that Aditya was extremely powerful, but seeing him lying there in such a helpless condition reminded her that even someone as strong as him could suffer serious injuries.
’You really are too reckless sometimes.’ Amelia thought while looking at his sleeping face.
However, she did not say anything aloud. Instead, she continued helping the others. After some time, the girls finally finished cleaning Aditya’s body. They then carefully dressed him in a fresh set of comfortable clothes.
By this point, most of the dried blood and dust had been removed, and he looked much better than when he had first returned from the battlefield. Although his injuries had not completely healed, his appearance was no longer as miserable as before.
Meanwhile, Riya continued using her healing abilities. The green light surrounding her hands slowly spread through Aditya’s body, helping his damaged bones recover.
After making sure that everything else had been taken care of, Athena took out the Six-Star healing potion. She carefully supported Aditya’s head and upper body, making sure not to place unnecessary pressure on his injured ribs. With the others helping her, Athena gently woke him just enough to make sure he could swallow properly.
Aditya barely opened his eyes. He looked at Athena with a tired and slightly confused expression.
"Athena...?" He murmured weakly.
"Don’t worry. Just drink this." Athena replied softly.
Aditya was far too exhausted to ask any questions. After recognising Athena’s voice, he simply followed her instructions. With them, there was no need to be on his guard. He trusted them completely with his life.
Athena carefully helped him drink the Six-Star healing potion, making sure that he swallowed it properly. Once he had finished drinking, she gently lowered his head back onto the pillow. Within moments, Aditya closed his eyes again.
He was still so exhausted that he fell back asleep almost immediately. Seeing this, Athena could only shake her head with a helpless smile.
"He really is completely exhausted." Riya nodded while continuing her healing.
"Let him sleep. His body needs as much rest as possible." With the healing potion now beginning to take effect, Aditya’s recovery speed increased significantly. Combined with his powerful natural healing abilities and Riya’s continuous treatment, the damaged bones throughout his body began recovering much faster.
Although completely healing so many injuries would still take some time, his condition was no longer as worrying as before. Seeing that everything was progressing smoothly, the girls finally began relaxing.
Athena gently pulled a blanket over Aditya’s body. She then looked at his peaceful sleeping face. Despite everything he had accomplished on the battlefield, the man lying before her looked no different from an ordinary exhausted person who had finally found a chance to rest.
Athena slowly reached out and brushed a few strands of hair away from his forehead.
’You really have no idea how much you make us worry about you.’
However, she did not disturb him. For now, she simply wanted him to sleep peacefully while his body recovered from the terrible injuries he had suffered. After everything Aditya had done during the first day of the war, he deserved at least that much rest.
