The attack struck the armored puppet directly, sending it flying several meters backwards. Although its metal body was strong enough to withstand the attack, several small cracks appeared on the armor covering its chest.
However, before Lilith could follow up with another attack, the human-shaped puppet suddenly rushed toward her from the right.
Amelia immediately noticed its movement and raised her left hand. A thick root suddenly came out of the ground directly in front of the puppet, forcing it to stop and move backwards.
"Not so fast!" Amelia shouted while controlling several more roots to attack the puppet.
The human-shaped puppet quickly jumped backwards to avoid the roots, but Lilith had already moved forward. Taking advantage of the opening created by Amelia, she launched another powerful attack toward the puppet.

The attack struck the puppet across its shoulder, pushing it several meters backward. For the first time since their battle began, Lilith and Amelia had managed to force both puppets to retreat.

"Don’t get too excited. We still haven’t caused any serious damage to them." Amelia replied while keeping her attention on the two puppets.
The Puppet Master, who had been silently watching their movements, also noticed the change in their fighting style. However, instead of becoming worried, he seemed even more interested.
"Interesting. Their teamwork is improving. But let’s see how long they can keep this up." The Puppet Master muttered while moving his fingers again.
The two puppets immediately rushed toward Lilith and Amelia once more. This time, the armored puppet attacked from the front while the human-shaped puppet moved toward their left side.
Amelia quickly summoned several roots to block the armored puppet, while Lilith moved forward to deal with the human-shaped puppet.
However, unlike before, neither woman moved too far away from the other. Whenever one of them was forced to defend herself, the other immediately stepped forward to help.

The battle continued as the two Saints exchanged attacks with the puppets. Amelia used her roots to block incoming strikes, trap the puppets’ legs, and force them to change direction. Meanwhile, Lilith used her speed and mana attacks to strike whenever Amelia managed to create an opening.
At one point, the armored puppet attempted to attack Lilith from behind while she was fighting the human-shaped puppet. However, Amelia immediately noticed its movement and sent a thick root toward its arm.
The root wrapped around the puppet’s blade and pulled it away just before it could strike Lilith.
"Behind you!" Amelia shouted while pulling the puppet’s arm backwards.
"I saw it. Thanks!" Lilith replied before turning around and striking the armored puppet with a powerful attack.

The armored puppet was pushed backward once again, while Amelia quickly moved several roots beneath the ground to prepare for its next attack.
For almost thirty seconds, Lilith and Amelia continued fighting together. Although the two puppets were still extremely dangerous, the situation was much better than before. Neither woman had been sent flying again, and they were managing to block or avoid most of the incoming attacks.
However, despite their improvement, the Puppet Master was still controlling both puppets with incredible skill. He carefully watched how Lilith and Amelia supported each other, looking for even the smallest mistake in their coordination.
And after almost thirty seconds of fighting, he finally noticed an opening. Amelia had just used several roots to stop the armored puppet from attacking Lilith. However, because she was controlling so many roots at once, there was a very small delay before she could move them again.
The Puppet Master immediately noticed this delay.
"Now. Number Two, attack the Elf Saint. Number One, keep the Succubus Saint busy." The Puppet Master ordered while quickly moving his fingers.
The human-shaped puppet suddenly changed direction and rushed toward Amelia. At the same time, the armored puppet launched several fast attacks toward Lilith, forcing her to focus on defending herself.
Amelia immediately attempted to summon another root to stop the approaching puppet, but she was a fraction of a second too late.

The human-shaped puppet struck her across the shoulder with a sharp blade hidden inside its arm, leaving a deep cut before immediately following up with a powerful kick to her abdomen.

Amelia was sent flying backwards, crashing onto the ground several meters away.
"Amelia!" Lilith shouted when she saw her being injured.
However, the moment Lilith turned her attention toward Amelia, the armored puppet suddenly increased the speed of its attacks. One blade struck Lilith across her arm, while the second blade cut across her waist.

Lilith crashed onto the ground and rolled several times before finally stopping. For a few seconds, both Saints remained on the ground, trying to recover from the sudden attacks. Their clothes were torn in several places, and blood was flowing from the cuts covering their bodies.
Amelia had several wounds across her shoulder, arms, and waist, while Lilith had suffered cuts across her arm, waist, and back. Although most of the wounds were not deep enough to threaten their lives, they were still painful, and the blood loss was slowly beginning to affect their movements.
"This is getting difficult. Even when we fight together, he still manages to find openings in our defense." Lilith said while slowly pushing herself up from the ground.
"He’s controlling both puppets too well. Every time we make even a small mistake, he immediately takes advantage of it. If this continues, we won’t be able to win." Amelia replied while placing one hand against her injured shoulder.
The Puppet Master looked at the two injured women before a strange smile appeared on his face.
"Hehehe! You two are doing much better than I expected. But unfortunately, fighting together won’t be enough to defeat my puppets." The Puppet Master said while slowly lowering his hands.
However, what Lilith and Amelia did not know was that the Puppet Master had already prepared something special for both of them.
Before joining the battlefield, he had carefully studied the information he had gathered about the two Saints during his six months of searching. He knew that Lilith was a Succubus, while Amelia was an Elf. He also knew that both races possessed certain natural weaknesses that could be used against them.
For this reason, he had prepared two special powders that were designed specifically for their races.
The first powder was known as Succubus Desire Powder. This powder had been created using several rare herbs and special materials that could affect the natural hormones and desires of a Succubus.
