Although this number might not seem very large compared to the hundreds of thousands of soldiers fighting on the battlefield, the damage caused by these controlled soldiers was much greater than their numbers suggested.

Some soldiers were attacked from behind, while others were forced to defend themselves against their own friends. She continued moving through the battlefield while using her charm on more enemy soldiers whenever she found a suitable opportunity. Instead of wasting her strength fighting every opponent directly, she allowed the Emperor Faction’s own soldiers to do much of the fighting for her.
Meanwhile, on another part of the battlefield, Amelia was fighting in a completely different manner. Unlike Lilith, who preferred controlling the enemy soldiers, Amelia’s attacks were much more brutal. She used her control over plants to attack the enemy soldiers directly, and the results were extremely frightening.
As Amelia raised her hand, the ground beneath a large group of Emperor Faction soldiers suddenly began shaking. Before the soldiers could understand what was happening, several thick roots suddenly broke through the ground and shot toward them at incredible speed.
These were not ordinary roots. Each root was extremely thick and tough, while its tip was as sharp as a spear. Amelia had made them strong enough to pierce through armor and defensive barriers, allowing her to attack several soldiers at the same time.

Even those who managed to avoid the first attack often found themselves facing another root coming from a completely different direction.
Because the roots could move freely beneath the ground, the enemy soldiers had no idea where they should focus their attention. Looking forward was not enough, since a root could suddenly appear behind them. Looking behind was also dangerous, since another root might come out directly beneath their feet.
