The afternoon session, however, would be a clash of the titans among the final twelve. The format would be decided on the spot by the chairs of the judging panel, who would pose a single topic for all twelve finalists to expound upon before being scored in turn.
The morning session’s score would account for 40% of the total, while the afternoon session’s would be 60%, with the final results determined by the weighted average.
Therefore, getting onto the final twelve-person roster depended heavily on the quality of the video case. However, the final ranking among those twelve would come down to the contestants’ overall comprehensive abilities. No one knew what kind of challenge the chairs would ultimately propose!
