Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 5099 Realm's Major Powers

Chapter 5099 Realm's Major Powers

"Quick, quick, bring that wine over here!"

Saint Riyal Mendez quickly tried to smooth over the tensed atmosphere by quickly gesturing for Thousand Windblades, who immediately scrambled to the side like a servant who had finally understood his place.

"Yes! Right away!"

He hurriedly took a jade bottle from his life ring, held it with both hands, and personally brought it over. The moment the seal was loosened, an intoxicating fragrance spread through the entire reception hall.

The scent carried a sweet richness mixed with dense heaven and earth energy, causing even the surrounding cultivators' vitality to stir slightly. Faint peach-colored essence drifted from the bottle like mist, forming tiny spiritual runes before dispersing into the air.

Even the Primarchs, who looked completely uninterested in the City Lord's audacious act, could not help but glance at it twice.

"Haha, City Lord Kain is known throughout the region for his refined taste in wine."

Saint Riyal Mendez smiled warmly.

"This is Hundred Bloom Vitality Nectar. It is brewed from the immortal peaches of the Verdant Spiritheart Tree found in the Greater Realm, an Exalt Grade resource. The peaches bloom once every three million years, and only the ripest fruits may be fermented into this wine."

He lightly raised a finger, his lips moving without stop, "A single sip nourishes vitality, strengthens cultivation foundations, and replenishes bloodsoul essence. It is especially treasured among dual cultivators because of its miraculous fertility-enhancing effects."

"Saint Riyal truly knows how to give gifts."

An old man clad in luxurious robes woven from black and white spirit silk, sleeves embroidered with patterns resembling hydra scales, said with a chuckle. His long blue hair flowed behind him, yet despite his aged appearance, his eyes remained sharp and cold.

"Even Primarchs would find it difficult to purchase such wine, as it's not easily available and it won't be available anymore, considering we're entering into the Desolate Era." A middle-aged man clad in royal black-green robes layered with countless wind-attributed spirit threads said with a half-smile. His black hair carried streaks of emerald green while his sleeves fluttered despite there being no wind inside the hall.

"I heard a single jar is worth several cities." Uttered a handsome man with flowing blue hair and calm eyes that resembled tranquil lakes untouched by ripples. His sect robes were azure blue with silver wave patterns drifting across the fabric like living water.

The surrounding Primarchs chuckled with some surprise.

Why was the Saint giving a mere City Lord such a treat? There were other talented City Lords in other Bastion Cities.

Davis glanced at the ones who spoke.

He recognized them as they were characters a mere City Lord couldn't offend. After all, City Lord Kain or any City Lord of the twelve Bastion Cities, for that matter, were all just rogue cultivators who weren't in power and were answerable to the Hexadra Clan.

They hadn't fully gained power and spread their influence yet.

There was no way City Lord Kain could afford to offend these three people here or the other Primarchs, other than the bodyguards, and perhaps this unknown protector.

After all, they were none other than Abyssal Radiance Empire's First Grand Elder, Galehorn Kingdom's King, and Stillwater Profound Sect's Sect Master, absolute heavyweights who were all in the High-Level Primarch Stage, their prowess also considerably high, unlike the bodyguards he took down and fooled with his aura that didn't match the projected cultivation.

They were also loaded with treasures on their head, neck, and limbs, ready to be unleashed at a moment's notice.

Davis didn't doubt that they were here with Legacy Treasures and were consequently not afraid of the killing formation of a single city.

He took his gaze off them and looked at the jade bottle silently.

City Lord Kain Waterland liked a good wine more than the average wine connoisseur, but Davis didn't.

Truthfully, he did not care much for wine. He never understood the obsession cultivators had with sitting around intoxicated while pretending to comprehend the Laws through drunken ramblings or drowning in their sorrows instead of facing it and ending it through life and death- not that he had the right to ask people to have a life and death battle anymore, since he was literally unkillable.

Still, he was biased against muddying his mind for any reason whatsoever other than muddying his mind for his wives.

However, when he heard it was brewed from immortal peaches and was beneficial for vitality and fertility, his thoughts immediately drifted toward Yilla.

That sexy woman would definitely love this, especially after hearing its effects; she would probably blush first before pretending not to care while secretly protecting the bottle like a treasure. Perhaps she might even force him to drink it together with her later.

Just imagining her reaction nearly made him laugh.

"Fine."

Davis casually raised his hand and used his soul force to grab it, "I'll accept it."

The atmosphere instantly relaxed as the killing formation's pressure also receded.

Saint Riyal Mendez inwardly released a sigh of relief while Thousand Windblades nearly collapsed from tension.

The moment the jade bottle neared City Lord Davis's hand, it disappeared.

Saint Riyal Mendez blinked.

He had expected the City Lord to immediately drink it out of courtesy and even share it over the table, yet the other party stored it away without hesitation.

"Haha, it seems City Lord Kain treasures fine wine as well." He joked, unbothered.

Davis calmly replied, "It will be used on a good occasion."

This time, even the Primarchs who were secretly hoping for a sip had their lips twitch.

This was too arrogant, no?

They could only look at each other, wondering who was going to discipline this damned City Lord, but they were also here to see how the Saint would handle it, so they were not going to interfere.

"Alright, I can let the interloper who didn't take the entrance enter, but he must not leave the reception hall. Next time, tell him to reveal himself when entering someone else's home."

City Lord Davis pointed out sternly before turning around to walk after gesturing to the Steward.

"I agree. My protector was rude, but I'm well aware that they care about my life and death, so it's my fault for not being considerate. I hope City Lord can forgive us."

"I dare not take offense from the Saint." City Lord Davis said, nearly rolling his eyes.

Steward Belmont gestured for them to follow, and they ended up in the same hall where Davis met City Lord Kain before he impersonated City Lord Kain.

They took their seats before the reception hall became silent for a brief moment.

Then Saint Riyal Mendez softly laughed, "City Lord Kain, allow me to formally introduce everyone."

As Davis previously saw, apart from the Abyssal Radiance Empire's First Grand Elder, Galehorn Kingdom's King, Stillwater Profound Sect's Sect Master, he also recognized-

The Morvane Family's Patriarch, a purple-haired man clad in a purple-crimson robe, as if it were flowing blood. He cracked his fingers unnaturally as a strange blood aura lingered around his fingertips.

A blood-darkness cultivator.

Although he appeared to be around fifty years old, the coldness hidden beneath his refined smile made him feel more like a venomous serpent hiding in elegant skin.

The Zephyros Family's Patriarch.

He appeared to be an elderly man with long green hair tied behind his back. He wore opulent yellow robes adorned with storm patterns and black feathered pauldrons that emitted traces of darkness energy. Wind energy continuously circled around him in faint spirals.

The Grayscale Poison Hound Clan's Patriarch.

His black-green hair appeared wild like tangled poisonous vines, while his gray-black robes carried furred edges resembling a beast's hide. A terrifying poison aura lingered around him, causing the air nearby to distort faintly, and even his eyes possessed a beast-like glow.

The Blackcurse Voidfang Eel Clan's Patriarch.

He was a purple-haired man dressed in luxurious brown robes embroidered with strange space patterns. A space-darkness cultivator.

Finally, seated near the edge was a white-haired, young-looking man clad in strange purple robes covered in twisted markings resembling living venom veins. He appeared to be a spirit fey instead of a spirit.

Despite appearing only around thirty years old, his pupils were terrifyingly ancient.

Davis had no idea who this person was since City Lord Kain didn't know, but Saint Riyal Mendez introduced him.

"The Corrupted Haven Venom Spirit Tribe's Grand Elder…"

Davis looked at him and thought of the poison jade hairpin used by Jillian Hayden, which was still in his ring.

Was this coincidental or not? Moreover, Haven? Not Celestial? Didn't Evelynn just say that it was called the Corrupted Celestial Venom Spirit?

Thanks for the Magica Castle, Szentin. Appreciate it a lot. ======
