Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4386: Absolutely Powerful

Chapter 4386: Absolutely Powerful

"Push comes to shove, we'll just use that hydra." Davis smilingly shook his head.

His expression turned solemn as he saw that Myria was silent for a bit.

"Got any ideas of the Alpha Exalt Stage at the very least?"

Myria appeared to be in another world. Davis was about to repeat his question, but she came out of her reverie and answered.

"I truly did have no idea about the existence of the Alpha Exalt Stage and the Omega Exalt Stage. Not only have they been kept a secret from the wider world, they also must have been introduced only recently- as in a billion years or ten billion years ago rather than thirty billion years ago."

"Oh? Then you're saying that the Celestial Transcendent necessarily wasn't an Absolute Primarch thirty billion years ago when he fought with that old witch in that Shadow Dimension?"

Davis remembered by that witch's account, the Celestial Transcendent wasn't like too powerful as an Absolute Primarch would be, at least nine levels higher without prowess included.

"Yes…" Myria nodded, "He has his wife, who must've been also an Elysian Jadesoul Fox once like Everlight is. He must've used her regression technique to decrease his cultivation base safely back to the Autarch Stage or near the brink and further used his high comprehension to improve himself continuously until he reached the Absolute Primarch Stage."

"…"

Davis's chest rose and fell amidst the silence before he tapped the sofa's hand rest, "Maybe even further… he's the Celestial Transcendent, after all. He has heaven's backing, and that would've made his Absolute Primarch cultivation base much more powerful. Probably no one can defeat him one-on-one, and that's why those powerful Paragon Magical Beasts, rulers of other galaxies, don't easily traverse the universe to descend on him and finish him once and for all."

"…"

Once he said that, the others either pouted or blinked.

They couldn't see themselves defeating the Supreme One anytime soon. Maybe it wouldn't happen in a million years. It was a scary thought- being unable to defeat that one person who ruled humanity with a merciful hand, but still came after them like they were a stain that doesn't need to exist.

"Don't worry. We wouldn't have imagined being able to defeat Immortal Emperors when we were just mortals. It's just like that, but on a bigger scale. We'll eventually arrive at that point, and I promise I will never let you all down."

"Davis…" Myria couldn't help but smile, "I know you'll become an Omega Exalt for sure. If you base it on Obliteration Law, Reincarnation Law, or even Chaos-Destruction Law, then you'll be unbeatable among even other Omega Exalts."

"Indeed. Basing my vessel on Chaos-Destruction Law is difficult, but Reincarnation Law and Obliteration Law are doable. Even if I am lacking, I have you by my side. We'll become Omega Exalts no matter what, and we might even do it together."

"Like an immortal couple~"

"Yes." Davis and Myria leaned forward, wanting to hold hands.

"Mhmmm~"

Evelynn and the others pouted, quickly separating them. They were already compatible to the highest order, so how could they watch them become more compatible and leave them behind?

Davis and Myria laughed lightly. Myria had learned to enjoy teasing her sisters as well.

Suddenly, Sophie looked quite melancholic.

"Darling, do you think I can… one day… forge a treasure out of these amazing apex treasures…?"

"…?"

Everyone raised their brows, wondering where this came from.

They didn't even know if it was possible, as karma might deny the existence of these treasures, like only one or two could exist at a time. Still, they presumed to create one was even harder than creating an Exalt Grade Armament, so Sophie's wish was truly big.

"Why not?" Davis flicked his sleeve and leaned back on the sofa with arrogance in his expression, "If we're dreaming of the apex, we should eventually be able to reach it from how we're improving relentlessly. We won't stop at humanity's current limit. We'll invent new cultivation stages, how about that? Do you now think forging treasures from apex treasures is only a dream?"

"…!"

Sophie's gaze lit up as she heard Davis.

Not only were his words extremely audacious, but his tone of voice was also pompous, making her heart throb, giving her the confidence that she could also maybe do it one day.

"I dare say I'll make one." Davis laughed audaciously.

"Ah!" Sophie's lips parted, "You don't even know how to make Immortal Emperor Grade Armaments, so don't be too full of yourself."

"I mean, in the future after you." Davis corrected himself.

"That's more like it~" Sophie nodded, appearing satisfied.

Evelynn and the others giggled. Even with all the threats they would face in the Upper Realms, they must say they were quite optimistic. It could be said they were more prepared than the time they were forced out of the First Haven World, leaving them feeling proud of themselves for improving so fast.

After some time, Davis left with Evelynn, intending to help her absorb the annihilative heavenly poison.

In the Starfall Gaze Lower Realm, Mingzhi and Yotan had arrived a few hours ago.

They forced their way towards the leader of that particular underground auction, finally finding a clue that would lead them to the place where the little girl was kept, from the records that had been kept in their accounting chamber or whatever it was.

However, they encountered their leader, a pitiful Level Two Autarch with a prowess that was two levels higher. He was a man clad in black robes but also wore ornaments head to toe, made from high-quality gold-attribute ores to appear luxurious and pompous. He was also fat, making their horizons widen.

"…"

Still, Mingzhi was momentarily taken aback.

She thought a Late Stage Autarch might appear, but it was just some ruler of a region instead of a realm. She was disappointed but more than that, realized for the first time she had grown too strong too fast. She totally missed every battle she needed to have with the Early Stage and Mid Stage Autarchs, making her feel that this wasn't like the novels she read at all.

She harrumphed, "I don't feel like bullying. Little sister, you take care of him. It should be helpful to carve your name here since you're going to start a mercenary group."

"Yes~"

Yotan stepped forward, intending to kill!
