Katherine was always near them, protecting them, but she was also having fun.

There were also Flamerose and Frostrose. They were with Shirley. He apologized to Flamerose for having Fire Phoenix meat on the menu, but she shook her head, aware that it had become a staple food in this family because of having too much Fire Phoenix meat in store. He thanked her for her understanding and moved to Esvele and Illumina.
He introduced the two of them, and Esvele agreed to take Illumina under her wing.
However, the harem requested that Illumina seal her cultivation for the time being, and Illumina didn't reject it. She understood that trust was an issue and swore to earn it. Her words already got a bit of their approval.

"Just kidding," Davis chuckled, "Wait outside for some time. I will call you two later since I'm going to discuss the next stage. Trust me, it's not good to learn before one becomes an Empyrean."

The two of them were reluctant but gave in. They turned around and walked away but suddenly flinched.

"…" Tina blinked, her cheeks turning rosy. It seemed that hiding her embarrassment by cursing him was not necessary.

On the other side of the door, Davis walked towards Myria and sat beside her on the couch. Myria appeared stiff, but with Davis grabbing her shoulder and pulling her into his embrace softly, she revealed an unconcealable smile.

"Of course. My father knew the Celestial Transcendent. I even called him Supreme Uncle in my childhood. I don't know if they can be called friends, but they were definitely close acquaintances.
