"Davis, we are grateful for being saved again. We twins have wanted to talk to you ever since we regained ourselves, but we couldn't because we got caught up in the Candidacy. However, we finally got the opportunity."
She spoke in a firm voice before her voice turned hesitant.
"Why did you revive us?"
"To use your prowess to protect ourselves from the advent of the Immortal King Vacuous Beast, something that was nearly impossible for us to defeat."
Davis smiled and continued, "Of course, if you two could come back alive, Shirley would love it. Therefore, you two have free will to do anything you want. You are not bound by anything."
Flamerose and Frostrose looked at each other. Could it be really just that simple?
However, they knew Davis from their time as Zahara and Yeyin. They knew he really didn't have any intentions for them. That was kind of hard to believe because, from the moment they were born, all they were were tools to be used. The Auraflame Clan really didn't consider Frostrose one of them because she was born as an Ice Phoenix instead of a Fire Phoenix.
