Davis blinked at Tia pressing her lips onto him without moving or prying into his lips.

That was such an awkward kiss that he didn't know what to say but he could feel her intense emotions behind that kiss that would take no for an answer.

He grabbed her shoulders, moved her back and looked into her purple eyes that were moist. She bit her lips, waiting for an answer as though it concerned her own fate, making him inwardly sigh.

"Tia, are you living your life or someone else's life?"

Davis asked with a gentle expression on his face.

Tia shook.

She couldn't refute that many of her actions stemmed from wanting to prevent the regrets in the storybook but they were still her wishes and also their wishes, so she took a deep breath and answered.

"I'm living this life so it doesn't turn out to be that other life."

Davis's lips parted, starting at her with some incredulity as he heard her soft, hopeful voice.

It was a golden pill with a golden glazed surface. Its exterior was smooth and polished. When he held it in his hands, it was surprisingly warm to the touch as though he was holding the very core of a world.

Once he removed the layer with a peel using his fingers, a palpable, almost tangible aura that radiated with intense waves of energy spread, making the space around him vibrate in resonance.

The intense, vibrant energy turned into golden light that momentarily blinded his eyes before he looked at the illusion of tiny runes dancing across the spherical body. The currents of golden light swirling around were captivating, making Davis charmed by the myriad secrets of this pill.

He could sense the vast reservoir of energy swirling within as pill essence, ready to be consumed.

Contrarily to his imagination, this pill didn't seem to be berserk in nature at all.

His lips went dry at the glazed golden pill, wanting to swallow it and digest it as soon as possible. His body even showed signs of withdrawal syndrome before he had even swallowed the pill as his body turned weaker at the scent, demanding that he throw it into his mouth as though his will had been overrode.

He acted upon that desire and threw the pill into his mouth.

A warm feeling spread across his tongue and throat as the pill rolled down the pipe, dissolving as it sank. Simultaneously, a burst of potent, golden energy surged down his throat like a molten liquid of sunlight, its energy incredibly dense and making his entire head and neck glow like it had been irradiated by a golden hue.

His sapphire eyes practically shone golden, releasing lights that looked like they were going to explode.

All that energy flowed into his stomach and entered his dantian, continuing to spread across every fiber of his body. However, the dantian was like a black hole right now, absorbing obscene amounts of energy from the golden vortex of pill essence gathered at the epicenter.

Suddenly, Davis felt light.

It was contrary to his imagination as he expected to feel bloated.

As the dantian kept absorbing the pill essence, he could feel his energy grow denser and more potent. His physical body also responded to the pill, strengthening the sleeping chaotic cells. They glowed golden as though they were reawakened from their slumber.

All the cells in his body drank the golden liquid as though they were thirsty beyond compare, making him wonder if there would be some left for the soul and soon enough, the pill essence climbed up the meridian pathway and began revitalizing his soul.

The lower dantian containing the Essence Gathering Cultivation and the middle dantian containing the Body Tempering Cultivation were seamlessly interconnected by the Immortal Vessel in the Immortal Cultivation Method.

This meant that these two energies always increased together unlike the Soul Forging Cultivation in the upper dantian that was separate. But this pill's essence was so dense that it was equally spreading across all three cultivations as though it had a will of its own.

He didn't even need to do anything other than keep the way clear of obstacles.

His physical body also responded to the influx of power by becoming more tempered, his muscles growing stronger, his bones becoming denser and even his senses were abnormally sharpened.

Perhaps due to the Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill being tamer than expected, Davis's senses were also sharpened enough to understand the changes with clarity.

He couldn't believe this was a pill that granted a ridiculous amount of increase in prowess for a tame pill, making him see why Myria, Tina and Dalila were awed beyond compare over this pill that even with all their knowledge they could barely dilute it.

He sensed all the changes, noticing that the Heaven Immortal Vessels were also expanding along with the internal cores to accommodate the surge in energy capacity and basked in the pill essence for a period of time as his prowess kept increasing until it began crossing levels.

Some unknown time later, he opened his eyes as a golden glow of supremacy flashed before his eyes returned to their normal color. His soul undulations reverberated, each wave denser than the other, causing him to clench his fist and unleash a simple reincarnation energy punch.

A low boom accompanied by a shockwave spread across the area, forming cracks all over the nearby space.

It made him smile as he guessed his prowess increased by four levels in the Immortal King Stage, totaling for a base prowess of seventeen levels higher which meant he could basically thrash average Level Nine Immortal Emperors like they were no different than ragdolls.

He felt that it was great even if it wasn't five levels higher since it was a Lower Realm Pill. He was rather thankful that the increase was the same as Evelynn, Isabella and Shirley if they were in the Immortal King Stage.

Even after five whole minutes of testing all his three cultivation bases, Davis still couldn't help but shudder as he felt vastly empowered.

After all, if he joined hands with Myria who had also digested a Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill, then they might very well be able to barely take on an Empyrean!
