Nadia, Eldia, Shirley, Isabella, and a few others appeared behind Evelynn, looking at her with gazes full of questions but seeing her trembling shoulders, a few turned to look at Nadia for answers.
Since Davis was in seclusion, both Nadia and Eldia had exited him and trained in their respective laws and cultivation, but Nadia still had her doppelganger within him. They knew she should know what had happened.
"Master... I can't sense him anymore..."
Nadia's gaze flickered, tears emerging in her eyes as she kept shaking her head.

Isabella's brows creased, but looking at how Nadia and Evelynn were reacting, her heart sank.
"It can't be..." Shirley's expression also fell, her face becoming pale as she took a step back, tears shedding down her eyes.
If even Nadia and Evelynn, who had a deep soul connection with him, couldn't sense Davis, then wasn't the answer obvious unless he consciously retracted the connection he had with them? Suddenly, Evelynn turned around and rushed out of the room, startling everyone in the process.
Lereza's eyes also went wide as she disappeared.
The others also realized a moment later, instantly following her, and the ones who arrived a bit late also followed them, their expressions looking solemn while their hearts beat crazily with worry.
On the way, they met with Ellia, but then she joined them together in their way.
Soon, they left the training quarters and arrived at the other side of the palace, making their way to the seventh floor of the same Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace, where they saw a two-meter tall azure-white wolf shivering in the Nurturing Life Formation.
One of her nine tails shone with a bright azure glow as the fox kept shivering and moaning lightly as though giving birth.
The tail that shone in an azure-gold color began trembling before it actually shed its fur, revealing an azure orb that began taking shape into an embryo and began expanding, devouring the tail in the process as it grew into a child and then a teenager and a full-fledged adult human all the while emitting a radiating azure glow that left everyone looking away for a few moments.
The shocking thing was the heaven, and earth energy gathered around this phenomenon, resonating multiple times.
When they returned their gaze, they saw a naked man with blonde hair having his bare butt on the vast plains as he exuded a confused expression before he went listless. It was as though one could see him re-experiencing life in his vision, making it so that none of them dared to disturb him.
But by this time, many had calmed, but some still couldn't help but cry, realizing what had happened. However, it also contained tears of joy and a heart full of gratitude toward the fox beside him, still surrounding him with its eight tails while continuing to quiver for some reason.
After a few minutes of silence, the naked man raised his head to look at the fake skies and gently sighed.

Davis became startled as he started to become aware of his surroundings after hearing the voices of his lovely women calling him out with a voice full of relief. He already knew what had happened and how he ended up near Everlight, but looking at all his women appear as though they were wronged, he couldn't help but raise his hand and scratch his head.
"Damn, this is embarrassing..."
He stood up, but he didn't walk over to them but approached Everlight and embraced her fox body while still naked as he caressed her back.
"It's fine... it's fine... I am with you..."
Everlight possessed a scared expression on her face. However, hearing Davis's soothing voice and his warmth, her trembling began to stop slowly, but her claws still kept shivering while her face appeared pale.
Davis's expression was stricken with a bit of guilt, but he hid it and kept soothing Everlight with his words.
After all, the karmic burden of reviving him had truly cost Everlight her future, for he imagined that she would be considered an Anarchic Divergent from now on, making it immensely difficult for her to pass her next immortal tribulation.
It was practically impossible for her to get to the Immortal King Stage, considering that she possessed Life Laws, and it wasn't the best defense or the offense to defend against heavenly lightning, much less heavenly wind.
While consoling her, Davis also checked his soul and saw that Fallen Heaven was still with him, making him wonder how exactly it was fused with him in order to even follow him back through the path of the soul even though he died.
He couldn't help but feel heartened over Fallen Heaven's silent yet loyal gesture. Although he couldn't tell if it was loyal or not, it remained with him all this while and still didn't leave after he had practically died two times already. This was something that etched into his heart even if he didn't want to register it in his mind.
He said nothing to Fallen Heaven and kept consoling Everlight before she finally composed herself, her dilated pupils finally turning normal before she turned around and licked Davis's face, which he let her do so while smiling.
Davis patted her, conveying his gratitude through his eyes alone before he turned to look at his people.
For one, he was embarrassed, not because he was naked, but because he had truly died from cultivation deviation.
However, he would like to state that it wasn't his fault as he only tried combining destructive energy and chaotic energy outside his body between the tip of his fingers.
