After losing his match to Yuan before he could even react, the man left the waiting room to notify Wu Wang and Shi Fa of the good news.

"Gladiator Wu! Gladiator Shi! I’ve done it! I met with Player Yuan and relayed your message to him!" he said with a prideful look on his face.

"Finally!" Wu Wang excitedly clenched his fists at the news.

And over the next several minutes, they waited for Yuan to leave matchmaking and return to the lobby.

However, when over ten minutes had passed and Yuan was nowhere to be seen, Wu Wang glared at the man and spoke in a cold voice, "If you think we’re fools..."

"N-No! I swear on my mother that I am not lying to you! I really matched with Player Yuan and told him the message—word for word!" The man hastily shook his hand, swearing that he was telling the truth and nothing but the truth.

"Then where the hell is Player Yuan?!" Wu Wang angrily shouted.

"It’s possible that our message had scared him into hiding," Shi Fa suddenly said.

"What? That’s so pointless! Unless he intends to stay inside for the rest of his life, he will have to surrender himself eventually, so why drag this out?"

"Who knows? But we can only continue waiting for him to come out right now..."

Meanwhile, Yuan continued to matchmake despite receiving the Gladiators’ message.

’I don’t know what sort of business they have with me, but if they can’t even tell me the reason, they can wait for me to finish this month’s limit,’ Yuan said to himself.

Several matches later, Yuan encountered another opponent who had been sent by the Gladiators to relay their message to him.

Since there was no way for these people to know that someone had already spoken to Yuan, they could only keep going until they either gave up willingly or found Yuan.

"Player Yuan! I have a message for you from Gladiator Shi and Gladiator Wu, who are waiting for you in the lobby outside! You are to stop all matches and return to the lobby immediately."

"Is that so? Let them know that I have received their message," Yuan repeated what he said to the last guy.

Then, he defeated his opponent and continued matchmaking for the next round.

Meanwhile, the one who just fought Yuan returned to the two outside with a grin on her face.

"Gladiators! I have encountered Player Yuan and relayed your message to him!" she proudly declared.

However, the two only frowned at her words, confirming their suspicion that Yuan was still inside and deliberately avoiding them.

"Wait a second!" The man who’d found Yuan first suddenly said. "I was the first to relay the message to him!"

The woman sneered at his words and replied, "If that were the case, then why was Player Yuan still inside, even matching with me? Because you didn’t really encounter him."

She refused to believe the man’s claim, even calling him a liar outright.

"Bullshit! I really did meet him! He is just refusing to come out for some reason!" The man exclaimed, defending himself.

"Just you wait! He won’t come out!"

"He will!"

"He won’t!"

Sure enough, just like the man had predicted, Yuan was nowhere to be seen even after ten minutes of waiting.

"No way..." The woman fell to the ground, dazed.

"What did I tell you?" The man sneered.

Then, he turned to look at the Gladiators and asked, "Um... about the reward."

Wu Wang narrowed his eyes at the man but said nothing.

Seeing this, Shi Fa spoke, "Since we cannot really confirm whether or not anyone here has actually encountered him until he comes out, we will delay the rewards until we can."

"I understand..."

Although the man was disappointed, there was nothing he could do but keep on waiting.

Over the next several days, more and more people would encounter Yuan and relay the Gladiators’ message to him, unaware that others had already done so.

Of course, Yuan would always reply with the same words.

"Let them know that I have received their message."

Eventually, after nearly two weeks of fighting after the monthly reset, Yuan reached his second limit.

The moment Yuan returned to the lobby, he was met by a large group of people standing outside, surrounding the entrance with enraged expressions.

One of them immediately shouted the second they saw Yuan coming back out.

Then, two figures approached Yuan and stood directly before him, their expressions looking the most angrily out of everyone there.

"Player Yuan, I presume?"

"Indeed. Who’s asking?" Yuan asked, pretending not to know them.

"We’re the ones who sent these people to relay our message to you!" Wu Wang shouted angrily.

"Oh, Gladiator Wu and Gladiator Shi? How can I help you?" Yuan calmly responded.

"So you did receive our message! Why didn’t you come out immediately, as we told you?!"

"Why should I?" Yuan remarked. "My mother always taught me not to listen to strangers, and all I was told was that there were two strangers looking for me. If you were in my shoes, would you come out? Moreover, I only said that I’d received the message, nothing about agreeing to it."

"Are you mocking us right now?" Shi Fa finally joined, a deep frown on his face.

"No, I am dead serious," Yuan replied with a serious expression. "Try to see things from my perspective. Two strangers had sent hundreds of people after you without giving any reason. Wouldn’t you also be a little nervous and afraid if you were in my shoes?"

"Anyway, what business do you have with me?" Yuan continued, his complete lack of concern for the situation leaving everyone present speechless.
