Selena glanced at the masked figure beside the Celestial Emperor for a brief moment before ignoring him and speaking to the Celestial Emperor, "So, what do you wish to speak to me about?"
"It’s quite simple. I want to know what your true purpose for coming to our world is. Do you really wish for humans and demons to coexist, or are you looking for something else?"
Selena raised an eyebrow at the Celestial Emperor’s choice of words. "What makes you think I am looking for something?"
"I have no reason to think that," the Celestial Emperor replied. "I was merely making an assumption."

Selena fell silent for a moment before speaking again. "Although there is nothing I personally want from the Nine Heavens, I will admit that its resources will likely be sought after. The Demonic Realm’s resources have long since become scarce due to overpopulation and the immortality of our people."
"Hmm... While our world does possess an abundance of resources, that does not mean we can use them without restraint. The only reason we have not exhausted them is because we enforce strict regulations to prevent overconsumption."
Selena nodded. "I will ensure that strict regulations are imposed on any demons who visit this world, so they do not take more than they are allowed."
The Celestial Emperor shook his head. "Their desire for our resources is not what concerns me most. It is our safety. From what I have been told, Cultivation Gods are fairly abundant in the Demonic Realm. Yet in this world, there are so few that they can be counted on one’s fingers."
He continued, "If even a few of them were to visit our world, the balance of power would immediately collapse. Hell, your presence alone has already thrown it into disarray."
"Because time flows differently between our worlds, it is not something I can truly regulate. However, it is possible to restrict the strength of those allowed to visit your world, ensuring that they remain within this world’s power level," Selena said.
Then, she continued, "I have also heard that some of your people wish to visit the Demonic Realm to accelerate their cultivation, since time passes much faster in our world. However, I must warn you that our environment is vastly different and may not be suitable for humans like you. The Divine Paragon is an anomaly and should not be used as an example."
The Celestial Emperor nodded and said, "We will also have regulations for humans who wish to visit the Demonic Realm."
"Onto my next concern... could whatever turned your people into demons spread to our world? If there is even the slightest possibility, we will have no choice but to keep our world closed."
"I do not have a clear answer for you right now, but once I have a concrete answer, I will let you know."
"How do you plan to determine that without experimenting on our people?"
"I do not," Selena answered calmly. "Because I intend to experiment on the humans of this world."
"What?" The Celestial Emperor immediately frowned at her outrageous words.
"I have already discussed this matter with the leader of the Demon Sealing Clan. Apparently, there are people in this world who worship demons—Demon Worshippers. We plan to conduct the experiments on them... though, of course, their participation will be entirely voluntary."

The Celestial Emperor fell silent at her explanation, unsure how to feel about it. On one hand, he despised the Demon Worshippers as much as everyone else. On the other hand, allowing demons to experiment on humans did not sit right with him, even if it were voluntary.
Selena noticed the hesitation in the Celestial Emperor’s eyes and continued, "Either that, or we can leave it to time to reveal the truth. That being said, I am quite confident that it is not contagious. Otherwise, you humans would have long since turned into demons during the Forsaken’s invasion in the past."
The Celestial Emperor narrowed his eyes slightly, finding her explanation difficult to refute. It was not as though demons had only just appeared in their world, since the Forsaken had existed there since ancient times. Yet, there had not been a single recorded case of a human turning into a demon.
Selena and the Celestial Emperor continued to discuss coexistence between humans and demons until there was nothing left to discuss.
"Then let us end our meeting here," Selena said.
The Celestial Emperor nodded.
"Once you have become more accustomed to our world, we can discuss the matter further in the future."
Selena didn’t linger and left shortly after, escorted back to the Demon Sealing Clan’s Grand Library by Heaven’s Mandate.
Once Selena left, the Celestial Emperor returned to his own private chamber with the masked figure, who had not spoken a word since the beginning.
"That woman is much harder to deal with than I anticipated," the Celestial Emperor sighed aloud. "I wanted to invite her to our side, but I need to monitor her a little longer before I decide.
He turned to the masked figure and asked, "What do you think, Master? Is she going to be a problem?"
The masked figure finally spoke in a cold voice. "That woman cannot be trusted. There is a good chance her creator, Deemo, sent her here to steal the Absolute Power from us."
He continued, "Although she may become a problem in the future, it is not something we cannot handle. For now, she is of no concern."
After a brief pause, the masked man spoke in an irritated voice. "Our focus right now should be on that bastard who forced us into slumber and delayed our plans. Although we killed him during our clash, we were unable to destroy his soul. He will undoubtedly return and cause even more trouble for us."
He turned to face the Celestial Emperor and commanded, "Stop wasting time! Find that bastard and annihilate him! If you cannot kill him, then hinder him until we have fully recovered!"
