Cultivating in the Wizard World

Jeming pondered for a moment, then thought of another question.

Given the scale of a wizard civilization, even a relatively "backward" one, it is definitely not something that a mere Nolun Workshop could handle independently.

Even if that civilization doesn't have a Ninth Level Wizard stationed there, its overall strength shouldn't be underestimated.

"Even a backward wizard civilization should not be something we can handle, right?" Jeming frowned at Avery Knight, "This matter probably needs to be reported to the Star Ring Federation."

Dean Avery Knight's lips curled into a slight approving smile.

"It seems you haven't been blinded by the word 'backward.'

He paused: "That's right, I've already told the Nolun Wizards. And he has already reported it to the Star Ring Federation long ago. So..."

He raised his hand, pointing to the figures with profound auras in the depths of the plaza.

"We're just gathering now; later, we'll go to other places. There, all four major forces of the wizard civilization will send representatives."

Jeming's heart shook.

The four major forces of the wizard civilization... the Star Ring Federation, Deep Red Royal Court, Void Architecture Institute, Anti-Entropy Alliance, all of the wizard civilization's power will converge.

You could say this is no longer a private affair of any force, but a grand event of the entire civilization.

"So what are we going to do?" David's voice was a bit tense, "War?"

Avery Knight shook his head, with a subtle expression on his face: "Haven't I already told you? We're going to a gathering."

"A gathering?" Jeming and David echoed each other, their faces full of confusion.

Viola chuckled at their puzzled expressions: "Of course, there'll also be a fight. After all, even in parallel worlds, if your strength isn't sufficient, you don't have the right to exchange."

"Knowledge and resources?" David answered instinctively.

Jeming also nodded.

Isn't the wizard civilization waging war against other civilizations precisely for these two things?

Avery Knight shook his head: "If a single force could conquer a parallel wizard plane, then knowledge and resources would indeed be important."

"But this is the action of the entire wizard civilization. For the four major powers, those resources, and the knowledge that's more backward in the same system, don't seem as important."

Thought flashed in Jeming's eyes.

Indeed, when the entire wizard civilization is the participator, and the spoils are diluted among the four major forces, those backward knowledge and limited resources indeed don't seem significant.

Viola's voice turned serious: "For the whole wizard civilization, the greatest value in a parallel wizard civilization is each wizard's twin."

A flash of understanding struck Jeming's mind.

Avery Knight nodded: "Exactly. If you can find your twin and form a contract with them, they become the most suitable research assistant. If you're willing to nurture them, they can completely walk the same path as you, using them as a reference to discover and fix the flaws in your combat system..."

Jeming was full of admiration.

Indeed.

Even in the Cultivation Immortality World, there is the saying of "wealth, companion, method, and land."

The so-called "companion" refers to a person who can advance together on the path.

And who else would be more suitable as a Dao companion than "another oneself"?

The same root, the same talent, the same way of thinking, the same pursuit of power...

Besides migrating population from the original plane, the most important method for wizard civilizations to expand their population is to transform the local "human" natives.

Wizards would use various potions to modify natives with human-like appearances, making their biological traits identical to the human race of the wizard civilization.

Though less common now, in the early stages of wizard civilization expansion, these methods were often used.

Even if another wizard civilization used the same developmental methods, the descendants produced would be different if they encountered different planes.

So, in the end, finding a wizard who can discover their twin will certainly be rare.

"Saying this, wouldn't the number of twins be very limited?" Jeming frowned.

Avery Knight contemplated: "This isn't certain either. After all, how many wizard twins can be found depends on how large the range of this parallel world is."

Jeming blinked, immediately understanding.

Just like the theories about parallel worlds in his past life: if an entire planet's particle composition is the same, that's a parallel Earth; but if an entire star system's particle composition is the same, that's a parallel solar system; and if the entire observable universe's particle composition is the same, that's a parallel universe.
