Cultivating in the Wizard World

Chapter 610 - 519: Stalemate and the Disruptor

Chapter 610: Chapter 519: Stalemate and the Disruptor

If it could go on like this forever...

In theory, he could rely on the near-infinite Energy from his Inner Grotto Heaven as support, dragging this out with the other side until the end of time!

Until he drained this Sixth Level Wizard’s stockpiled resources dry!

At that point, offense and defense would reverse; it wouldn’t be impossible!

This was his only chance at victory!

However...

This tempting thought had only just risen when it was doused by the cold water of reality!

Jeming’s expression darkened ever so slightly, almost imperceptibly.

"This place... is enemy territory."

From the start of the battle till now, this Black Robed Wizard, perhaps out of absolute confidence in his own strength, perhaps thinking he could end it quickly, had not called for reinforcements.

But the fight had dragged on to now; a "long" ten minutes had already passed!

As long as the other party wasn’t an idiot, he would have realized by now that he couldn’t quickly take him down one-on-one!

In that case...

A call for help had very likely already been sent!

Reinforcements might even already be on the way!

If he kept dragging this out, what awaited him would not be the enemy’s resources running dry, but more and stronger opponents! Once he was surrounded, no matter how much stronger he evolved, no matter how fast he regenerated, there would be no way to survive!

"I can’t drag this out..." A sharp sense of urgency surged in Jeming’s chest, cold sweat seeping from his brow.

"...Should I try to use ’Light Transformation’ to flee?" The thought resurfaced again.

But the risk of using Light Transformation was enormous!

Jeming wasn’t expecting to escape from the other’s hands purely by relying on Light Transformation; he simply wasn’t sure what the exact outcome would be if he used Light Transformation to escape.

If he could genuinely relocate after being intercepted, that would still be acceptable...

But if even the process of escape was "omitted" by the other side, and he was intercepted yet still remained where he had been, then after Light Transformation he would have consumed a massive amount of Spiritual Power and Spiritual Power, which would instead be to his disadvantage!

While Jeming and the Black Robed Wizard were locked in a dazzlingly fierce exchange of attacks, fists and feet colliding with constant detonations, Energy splashing everywhere, he was rapidly weighing the pros and cons in his mind, his expression shifting unpredictably.

Above the battlefield, an Energy Storm howled.

Deep beneath the earth, rock strata continued to collapse.

The two figures crossed madly within this Purgatory-like battlefield, every collision erupting with a terrifying might enough to tear space apart!

Yet Jeming’s heart only sank further and further...

Buzz... Rumble rumble rumble!!!

Just as Jeming clenched his teeth, ready to risk everything and unleash "Light Transformation" for a sliver of life...

The sky changed!

A low yet immensely penetrating roar, as if billions of thunderbolts were brewing in the distant core of the earth, boomed forth. From far to near, at an unbelievable speed, it tore through the sky and crushed down!

Jeming and the Black Robed Wizard both felt their hearts jolt; even their movements mid-battle involuntarily slowed by half a beat, as their senses together locked onto the source of the sound and Energy fluctuation!

Only to see, at the distant horizon, a colossal black shadow that blotted out the sky, breaking through the air toward them at a terrifying speed close to a hundred times the speed of sound!

It was a giant Metal object, its entire body composed of dark, dull Metal, edges sharp and distinct, rhombus-shaped, as enormous as a mountain range!

Its volume was so massive it could easily cover the entire Gobi below; the shadow it cast instantly enveloped the two who were locked in fierce combat!

Because its speed was simply too great, the air at the leading edge of the giant object was compressed to the extreme, and the friction between air and air formed a bright white plasma shock front, like a blazing crown of light placed upon this Metal mountain range!

The ear-piercing sonic boom, beyond the limits of human hearing, turned into a tangible wave of destruction. Some of the earlier shock waves even swept across the ground ahead of it, pushing farther outward first!

Wherever they passed, the already devastated rock pillars and ground were as if plowed by an invisible titanic plow, shattering and flying up in pieces!

With a momentum that crushed everything, it came straight down, aimed with deadly precision at the core region where the two were fighting!

The dark red gleam beneath the Black Robed Wizard’s hood flashed.

His figure "blurred" in place, and in the next instant, he had already "appeared" high in the sky tens of thousands of meters away, far outside the direct impact range of the giant object.

For this kind of purely physical, large-scale orbital strike, taking it head-on was definitely not the wise choice!

Even though the Law of Fabrication could "define" an outcome, facing such mass and kinetic energy, the "quota" required to burn through would be enormous; better to temporarily avoid the edge!

Jeming, however, stood unmoving where he was, merely tilting his head back slightly, calmly watching that Metal mountain drawing ever closer.

His Spiritual Power completed a complex calculation in an instant...

Trajectory, speed, kinetic energy decay, air resistance, and... a certain subtle Spiritual Force Field attached to the giant object, exerting control!

"Primary shock wave vector... toward the second quadrant. Remaining kinetic energy insufficient to break through Ruins Armor’s current threshold." He reached the conclusion in a heartbeat.

Thus, under the slightly astonished gaze of the Black Robed Wizard...

Within the terrifying hurricane and sonic shock waves swept up by the falling Metal mountain range, enough to blow mountaintops away...

Jeming merely drifted a bit farther off.

Boom!!!

In the blink of an eye, the red-hot underside of the Metal mountain range, carrying kinetic energy enough to annihilate everything, slammed brutally into the earth!

The entire world seemed to tremble!

Centered on the impact point, the earth within a radius of hundreds of kilometers instantly shattered and collapsed, forming a gigantic bottomless crater!

The ground seemed to liquefy, countless concentric rings of earth-waves surging out in all directions like tsunamis, shredding the already scarred Gobi to pieces!

Rumble rumble rumble!!!

The shock wave spread outward like a tangible tsunami at supersonic speed!

Wherever it passed, rock strata were pulverized, the atmosphere torn apart, and all tangible things were turned into dust!
