Chapter 604: Chapter 515: The Non-Fabricated [Fabrication] (Extensive Settings)

First, we must clarify a fact.

Namely, the "Fictional" Law is not an imaginary law.

Although the "Fictional" Law is referred to as the source and origin of fictional laws, it is not imaginary but truly exists.

In the boundless power system of the Wizard Civilization, the "Ninth Level" is a realm that is both awe-inspiring and full of endless imagination.

Countless records and transmitted wisdom point to one fact: a Wizard who reaches the Ninth Level will possess "infinite" power and can twist laws at will, achieving a certain kind of "wish fulfillment."

Their interference in reality is like a creator wielding a brush, almost unbound by common logic.

Such great power, its principles and origins naturally make all Wizards who pursue the ultimate knowledge yearn with all their heart, exhausting their efforts to analyze it.

And the "Fictional" Law is a kind of "achievement" derived and ultimately touched upon by numerous wise Wizards when researching the ultimate mystery of how Ninth Level beings twist laws.

Or perhaps... a "degraded imitation."

From the results, the performance of the "Fictional" Law can be described as fairly ordinary.

It indeed can achieve a "wish fulfillment" effect to some extent, but its internal logic is completely different from the fundamental law-twisting of the Ninth Level, and it has fundamental deficiencies that cannot be overcome.

The most core deficiency is that the "Fictional" Law can only accomplish things that the user could theoretically complete on their own strength, knowledge, resources, time, and other conditions.

It can only help the user skip the process and complete things they could theoretically do.

For instance, when facing Jeming’s "Ruins Armor", if this black-robed Sixth Level Wizard who mastered the "Fictional" Law is willing to spend enough time, invest immense spiritual power, deplete massive calculation power and resources, and use his multitude of breaking knowledge and witchcraft methods, theoretically, he could ultimately break through the defense of the Ruins Armor.

Since it is "theoretically possible," the "Fictional" Law allows him to "skip" the potentially long, complex computation and massive consumption of the "breaking process," directly presenting the result that "the Ruins Armor has been broken."

From this perspective, the "Fictional" Law is undoubtedly a powerful and convenient capability in the field of combat.

It allows users to transform their theoretical "capability ceiling" into actual combat results with extreme efficiency, especially when facing those with complex defenses, where conventional methods would struggle for a quick victory.

However, the splendor of this power is mainly limited to the Seventh Level and below.

Once reaching the Eighth Level, a Wizard will complete "Law Solidification," with their core laws deeply tied to their existence, making it difficult to twist by external forces.

By then, even the law-twisting of a Ninth Level being can be resisted, let alone the "Fictional" Law, which is a degraded version based on "self-possibility" and "result jumping."

Thus, for Wizards specializing in the "Fictional" Law, their combat abilities often drop sharply upon advancing to the Eighth Level, even becoming indistinguishable from the crowd.

This is a path seen as having almost no future by many.

Even at the Sixth and Seventh Levels, the "Fictional" Law is not invincible.

This involves its second major flaw: the process it can "skip" has a limited "omission quota."

A Wizard specializing in the "Fictional" Law, wishing to omit the resources, effort, calculation power, time, etc., needed to break through a certain defense, complete complex witchcraft, or realize a specific result, depends on their depth of study and mastery level of the "Fictional" Law itself.

But even if this law is studied to the theoretical maximum level of Sixth or Seventh Level, its "omission quota" does not have an overwhelming advantage over top-level combat Wizards of the same level... particularly those who master purely destructive laws such as "Annihilation," "Collapse," or "Termination."

It can make the user an "elite" or "outstanding figure" among the same level, but it’s hard to become the "most top-notch group."

More importantly, non-Ninth Level beings do not possess infinite power.

Therefore, users of the "Fictional" Law cannot accumulate combat power infinitely like Ninth Level creatures by "twisting laws" and "infinite power."

The upper limits of their "capability" in terms of spiritual power totals, energy reserves, physical strength, and knowledge depth collectively limit the maximum results they can "fabricate."

A Fifth Level Wizard could never "fabricate" a victory over a Seventh Level Wizard, as that is far beyond what they could "theoretically achieve."

In conclusion, the "Fictional" Law is a powerful, efficient, but clearly capped and future-compromised capability in the combat field, placing it in the upper middle tier among Combat Wizards.

In the research field, the evaluation of the "Fictional" Law is much lower, even considered quite inferior.

The primary reason is its extreme shortcoming in effect range.

The essence of laws is knowledge, and the witchcraft artifacts made by Wizards using knowledge fundamentally represent the power of laws.

A Sixth Level Wizard, after completing "Law Solidification," can create a witchcraft artifact centered on their solidified law, which can still function properly in its preset function even if brought to other planes an infinite distance away, as long as it is not destroyed.
