Chapter 593 - 507: Records and Battle Results (Part 2)

Chapter 593: Chapter 507: Records and Battle Results (Part 2)

Dionysius Spencer curiously looked at Jeming: "How did you evade their pursuit?"

Jeming shook his head: "I didn’t manage to evade their pursuit. Realizing this, I used an array to render the two combat incapable."

"Wow!" Viola couldn’t help but exclaim, her eyes sparkling at Jeming, "Junior, did you ambush and take out that golden duo?!"

Jeming recalled his exhausted Red Dust Qi, his face twitching:

"Senior, don’t put it so lightly. That composite array took quite some time to prepare beforehand, almost exhausting all related materials I carried, along with a lot of quite precious materials. Besides, the effect wasn’t great. Strictly speaking, it didn’t deal with them, it merely threw their souls into chaos, making them lose combat ability temporarily."

He paused and continued: "After dealing with them, I immediately retreated towards the camp with full force, but the third wizard was not affected by the array, so they pursued again, judging by the badge, they should be a Sixth Level Wizard from the Tower of Annihilation..."

Jeming described in detail the opponent’s fog-like shapeshifting body, the icy crimson eyes, and the "Annihilation" power seemingly capable of erasing the existence of all things.

He specifically emphasized the opponent’s most common attack method, giant hand seals formed from gray-black mist, covering the sky, each strike containing multiple layers of annihilation effects, not only obliterating matter and energy but even eroding soul structures and spatial stability.

Initially, when Jeming described the "fog-like body," "crimson eyes," "Annihilation power," Dionysius and the others seemed calm, as many wizards from the Tower of Annihilation shared similar traits.

But when Jeming clearly stated key details like "hand-shaped attack," "wide-range coverage," "multi-layered annihilation damage overlap," the atmosphere in the treatment room abruptly shifted.

On Professor Clark’s usually calm face, his eyebrows imperceptibly furrowed a bit.

Dionysius Spencer’s gaze suddenly turned sharp, as though discovering hidden treasure... or a dangerous beast.

Viola directly gasped and sprang up from her chair, walking to Jeming’s side, solemnly patting his shoulder.

Jeming felt slightly unnerved by their stares: "What’s the matter? Is this person... special?"

Viola took a deep breath, saying word by word: "If... the details you mentioned are correct, then the one you took down isn’t an ordinary Sixth Level Wizard from the Tower of Annihilation."

She paused, seemingly digesting the shock brought by this information.

"That’s the ’Hand of Obliteration.’"

Hearing this name, Jeming was initially stunned, then enlightened, as his scalp tingled slightly.

In the Wizard World, especially among the High Tier Wizard circles, titles often carry information of power and status.

Most common Sixth Level Wizards have titles often combined with names, like ’Shadow Curse’ Karon, ’Collector’ Alice.

This is because the base of Wizard Civilization is exceedingly large, even within a small regional area, High Tier Wizards can easily have name overlaps, causing confusion with just a title or name.

Thus, regular High Tier Wizards use such titles for better differentiation.

But when a wizard becomes immensely powerful within their group, their title gains uniqueness.

People only need to mention that title to clearly refer to them.

Over time, the title replaces their original name, becoming their sole identification in the world of power.

’Hand of Obliteration’ is such a title.

This signifies that the opponent is not just a Sixth Level Wizard but also recognized as an elite among Sixth Level Wizards, one of the few standing at the pinnacle of that tier!

They possess strength far beyond combinations like Karon and Alice, capable of executing high-risk strategic tasks alone, even posing certain threats to Seventh Level Wizards.

Recovering from brief shock, Dionysius Spencer immediately inquired more battle details: color changes of the hand seal, specific traces left when Annihilation power erodes space, and core weaknesses observed by Jeming during counterattacks.

Jeming answered each one, some details he didn’t pay much attention to at the time, now recalled under the Seventh Level Wizard’s guidance.

A moment later, Dionysius slowly exhaled, showing a complex expression.

There was marvel and lingering panic, eventually transforming into deep recognition of Jeming’s potential.

"Hand seal color shifting from gray to black, edges with fine cracks of spatial crystallization... core weakness at the right side of the chest fog flow point..." he softly repeated several key points, then nodded affirmatively.

"That’s right, these are battle characteristics of ’Hand of Obliteration’ and known few weaknesses. This intelligence is extremely valuable. You little fellow, you really took down such an existence..."

He looked at Clark, his tone filled with undisguised praise: "Clark, you’ve taken in an extraordinary student."

Clark smiled and nodded, then unobtrusively shifted the topic:

"The elite squad initially sent deep into enemy lines was entirely wiped out, leaving us puzzled about what kind of intercepting force could achieve such a clean result... now we understand. With ’Hand of Obliteration’ helming, supported by Karon and Alice’s tracking lock-on, ordinary Sixth Level teams indeed couldn’t escape even with wings."

Dionysius Spencer turned his gaze back to Jeming, no longer merely viewing a wounded Fifth Level junior, but inspecting a future star destined to shine brightly:

"To break the tracking combo as a Fifth Level Wizard and then slay ’Hand of Obliteration’... Wizard Jeming, you’ve performed far beyond my expectations. The value of this achievement far surpasses the coordinate intelligence you submitted."

He paused, his tone softening: "Your primary task now is to heal well. Concerning your kill of ’Hand of Obliteration’ and the ’Saint Heir’ feat, the workshop will verify and record, and the corresponding military merits and contribution assessment won’t be lacking for you."

After speaking, he nodded slightly to Clark.

Clark patted Jeming’s head, and the two left the treatment room together, evidently needing to immediately reassess the enemy’s force deployments and adjust their strategy.

Only Jeming and Viola remained in the room again.

Viola now donned a proud, radiant expression, practically glowing with shared honor.

She walked to Jeming and vigorously ruffled his slightly messy hair: "Well done, junior! Quietly doing big deeds! ’Hand of Obliteration!’ Even the old man mentioned to me to be careful of such tough opponents! And it was taken down by you! No wonder you’re my junior!"

Her demeanor seemed happier than winning a battle herself.

Jeming somewhat helplessly combed his hair: "Senior, I really just had good luck this time, almost couldn’t come back."

"Luck is also part of strength, especially in the wizard world." Viola dismissed indifferently, hands on hips, raising her chin, "You take care and heal well, I have to go out!"

Her face displayed an uncontainable, nearly overflowing "bragging" glow as she headed for the door.

Her steps were light, her silhouette exuding an air of exuberant arrogance.

Like a cat that had just won a fight, wishing the entire camp knew the prowess of her kin.

Jeming watched her crab-like sideways posture, helplessly shaking his head.

He lay back on the cold metallic table, feeling the continuous warm force from the array, beginning to quietly plan his next actions post recovery.
