And when the servants together with Auntie Sue appeared at the construction site, all of the workers erupted in a huge cheer when they saw them.
The servants started to set up the tables and chairs, put the wine on the tables while Auntie Sue and her helpers started to get the food ready.
"Look at that... is that a whole chicken?"
"Yes! And look over there."
"That is a suckling pig! Even better than a whole chicken."
The workers sat by the tables and watched, and they got even more excited when they saw what the banquet would consist of.
Never before had they had the luxury of such a sumptuous lineup of food.
Some of which would have cost them dearly if they had bought it themselves.
They were full of envy for those who were able to work for Lin Xuan Qi permanently as it had been a blessing for them so far to work for him.
"Once again, here is a toast to everyone for their contribution to the shopping mall." Lin Xuan Qi stood up with a wine cup in his hand and proposed a toast to the workers.
The workers quickly did the same thing, standing up from their seats and holding their wine cups in their hands.

And when they were done with it, an aroma quickly filled the air.
They glanced over at where the aroma was coming from and they salivated when they saw the source of the aroma.
"The first dish is ready, roasted chicken..." Servants served a plate of the roasted chicken to each table and the workers glanced at the roasted chicken and salivated.
The roasted chicken, with its now crispy golden brown skin, looked and smelled appetizing.
All of them couldn’t wait to get started.
Meanwhile, when this was going on, the mood in Zhao Geng Nian’s residence was a stark contrast to what was happening in the construction site.
Zhao Geng Nian frowned when he heard the chatters and noises from what was going on in the construction site nearby.

Now was not the time for him to make another mistake.
There were other more things to be done before he could get to Lin Xuan Qi.

And with this thought, he shook his head and went back to his bedroom instead.
It was better for him to not hear the noises from the construction site.

After the dishes were served and consumed, Lin Xuan Qi headed back to the mansion under the cheers and gratitude from the workers.

All of them couldn’t bear to see him leave and they got next to his horse carriage when he got onto it.
"It’s late now, best for all of you to get back to your homes." Lin Xuan Qi looked out of the windows of the horse carriage and said to them.
They sighed and nodded their heads at him.
Crack.
The whip of the coachman cracked and the horse carriage started moving.
The workers stood stationary and waved at the horse carriage that got further and further away from them.
For them, it was like their glimpse of a stable and happy life going away from them since their work here in the construction site was done.
They could only shake their heads and let out a long sigh before they headed back home.

When Lin Xuan Qi got back to the mansion, he couldn’t wait and he headed to the lab first.
He had many things that he wanted to try out with his Natal Puppet, now that he had replenished his Talisman Papers and Ink.
After he took out the Daoist Five-Element Cultivation Techniques manuscript, he flipped through the pages until he stopped at the page that was about the disguise talisman.
He read the page, remembered the scriptures and chant to be used for the disguise talisman and he got to work on it.
First, he took out his Natal Puppet, Talisman Papers and Ink from his storage Artifact.
Then, he started to draw the scripture for the disguise talisman on one of the Talisman Papers.
When he was finally done with it, he activated the Natal Puppet with his Five-Element Qi and used his Spirit Sea to control it to hold the disguise talisman he had just made.
