Meanwhile, back in Hong Feng City.
Lin Xuan Qi woke up to the scent of Liu Shi Shi and her long slender leg straddled across his thigh.
She clung onto him with her arms wrapped around his body.
He moved his face close to hers to see if she was awake.
But there was no response from her.
He brushed the few strands of hair that covered her face to the back of her head and marveled at her beauty for a few moments.
If he had a choice he would rather stay in the cozy bed with her but the choice wasn’t for him to make.
The Qing Feng Sect was relentless and he had to make sure that the Lin Clan would be able to survive from what they were planning.

Lin Xuan Qi gave out a sigh and he tried to get up from the bed.
His movements stirred Liu Shi Shi from her sleep.
She tried to bring him back into her embrace but couldn’t.
He had slipped out from her grasp.
"Get ready for breakfast. It might be a long day ahead." Lin Xuan Qi stood by the side of the bed and stretched out his arms with a yawn.
Liu Shi Shi reluctantly sat up from the bed and glanced at him.
She recalled how it was the night before between them and she blushed when the thought of wanting more with him came into her mind.
After giving out a sigh, she stood up from the bed and helped Lin Xuan Qi into a new set of clothes.
Then, they washed up before heading for the dining hall together.
Xue Cong and the others were waiting for them to have breakfast when they arrived.
Among them, Xue Cong didn’t say much as she knew that it was best for Lin Xuan Qi and the Lin Clan if Yue Jie and Liu Shi Shi were able to bear him a child soon.
She instinctively glanced at Yue Jie but quickly withdrew her gaze.
Both of them would be blessed by the heavens and bear a child for him soon. She thought to herself and prayed for it to be true soon.

Lin Xuan Qi gave her a smile and picked up the braised beef to put it into his mouth.
Yue Jie also joined in and picked up some of the chicken meat for him, putting it onto his bowl as usual.
Only Yue Xin was focused on her food while Liu Shi Shi maintained her usual distant demeanor in front of the others.
Lin Xuan Qi couldn’t help but appreciate what he had at the moment.
With such great food and the company of his wife and concubines, what more could a man ask for?
He savored every moment he could before he left the mansion for the day.

When he got to the construction site, the progress was going great as usual.
The roof of the new walkways was now fully covered.
There were only a few pillars standing upright in the ground not too long ago.
And now, it was a covered walkway like the ones in the shopping malls from where he came from.
The workers were hard at work, glad and sad at the same time knowing that completion was near.
With the completion, it would be a first of its kind, and they were proud to be part of it.
But it also meant that most of them would have to go around looking for work again.

They dispersed and continued with their work while Lin Xuan Qi chatted with Old Shao about the progress.
"At this rate, how long would it be before completion?" Lin Xuan Qi asked.
"I suppose two weeks more, the interior of the shops would have to be refurnished first." Old Shao said and pointed at the furniture and intricate decorations that were ready for the interior furnishing.

His plan was inching closer to completion and what was left would be his ascension to Nascent Soul Level.
