The door opened to a tremendously classy and luxurious office. The walls were pained in a white and golden theme. With the main desk and chair in the centre. And there was a floor to ceiling window behind the office desk. Couches were kept at the side. A big and fancy chandelier hung in the middle of the ceiling. It was decorated really tastefully.
Even Ning International’s office was not half as classy as this one. And from the view from the see through window on the opposite side, she could estimate that they were already at some 60th-70th floor.
But leaving everything aside, Ning Mei was more interested to know who was the person in the chair ,who had his back turned against where she stood. Is it Yeze? Should be him... But she didn’t have to wait to know that, because when she took the next step, Ning Mei tripped on the carpet and yelped, clumsily.
And, hearing her voice, Gu Yeze turned his chair around and kept the file that he was holding in the table and involuntarily stood up to help her. But he stopped on his track when he saw that, she composed herself. After thinking something,he again walked a little forward and asked her to take a seat on the couch.
When Ning Mei raised her head, and she saw the heart robbing face of Gu Yeze. And honestly, she was a little surprised that, it was his office. So... he might be rich, right? And here she was telling him about her providing everything for him, of he agrees to be with him.
Wasn’t this a slap on her own face? Anyways, she will just be thick skinned! She composed herself and went forward to stand next to him.
Gu Yeze looked at her ,and swallowed. Her ’just woke up ’ look was worth dying on. Anyways, taking a deep breath, he turned back and went back to sit in his chair and said, " Please sit, Miss Ning."
For a moment, Ning Mei thought that her ears played tricks on her and she heard it wrong. So Informal? Why? Just yesterday night he was there calling her ’ babe’ and all those sweet endearing. And now he was calling her so formally ? Looks like she needs to fix some screws in his head.
Nevertheless ,she listened to him and sat in one of the couch, facing him.
And he coughed and then started, "I hope you had a good sleep, Miss Ning. " Ning Mei once again frowned when she heard him address her so formally. God damn! She even started feeling angry, right now.
Taking a deep breath, she tried to compose herself and stood up, then she walked to his desk and said, "Yeze... " but her words got stuck in her throat when she saw the name plate in the table.
’ Gu Yeze. CEO and Chairman of Gu Corporations. ’
And her eyes almost fell of her socket. With her big, wide eyes filled with disbelief and her lips slightly parted, she raised her head and looked at him, dumbfolded and then back to the name.
’GOD! So he is the infamous, super rich and ugly Gu Yeze? Bullshit! Just bring that guy in front of me, who spread that stupid rumour! I would change my surname if I don’t beat the shit out of him. If this guy is ugly then the whole world’s men are pigs! ’
She simultaneously looked from the name plate to Gu Yeze’s face like a stupid! And then she realised one more fact. ’So this is the main CEO’S office of Gu Corporations? Heavens! ’
Before, her brain could unravel more mind-blowing facts, Gu Yeze said something that all most made her soul have a stroke.
Gu Yeze who was looking at her shocked and silly face and suppressed his a smile that was threatening to break out so badly. The only thing that he felt right now was to pull her into his arms and pinch her cheeks.
But he restrained himself.
He actually wanted to tease her. After last night, he felt that his wish of teasing her by making her chase him almost floped but right now, he got a new idea. And he wanted to try it out.
