" Xiao Mei.." Ji Yuyan called her again. But before she could say anything else, Ning Mei opened her door.
She looked at her, and saw that Ji Yuyan had come here with a glass of something.
Ning Mei smiled a little and said, " Please come in, Aunty. "
Ji Yuyan smiled at her and came inside. She was glad that atleast Ning Mei did not tell her to go away.
Ning Mei then said, " Yes, aunty. Did you have anything to say?"
Ju Yuyan stood up and carresed her head, and said, " Xiao Mei, I brought a glass of apple juice for you. You did not have anything since morning. Drink it, or you will get weak."
Ning Mei glanced at the glass that she kept on the table, and then turned to look back at the woman. She did not trust the woman much now. Especially, after she saw the contents of the envelope.
She smiled at Ji Yuyan and said, " That’s very thoughtful of you, Aunty Yuyan. But I am already very full. "
On hearing her, Ji Yuyan’s eyes turned cold for a split of second, by it was very soon concealed by her concerned face and she said, "But Xiao M..."
But before she could say something again, Ning Mei interupted, " It’s alright Aunty. Brother Chen had brought me food a while ago. And I have already had it. "
" But you can still have the juice. It would help with digestion. " She insisted.
On seeing that Ning Mei pressed her lips in a smile and said, " Alright, aunty. If you insist so much. Then please let the juice be here. I would drink it later when I feel like it. "
Ji Yuyan smiled at her and did not insist any further. She said, " Alright dear. However you feel like. "
She stood up, and just when Ning Mei turned around, she felt her press a handkerchief on her nose. Though, she very well understood everything and all her senses turned alert for a second, but then the chloroform did it’s job. And she fell uncounsious the next second.
Ning Mei finished one chocolate and then took out another one as she thought of how there was a black sheep among them!
After sometime, she heard some sound coming from out, and she hurriedly sat back in her previous position. She loosely tied back the ropes and binds around her, as if they were not broken at the first place.
And before anyone entered, Ning Mei pressed a button of the smartwatch she was wearing.
She hurriedly acted as if she was still unconscious, while looking at everything that was happening around with narrowed eyes. .
She saw Ji Yuyan come to her with four other men. Ning Mei looked at the men and scoffed. They were Yang family’s men! Traitors!
Ning Mei then heard the woman saying, "Now here is her husband too! That symbol of my hatred! "
Hearing him, Ning Mei narrowed her eyes. What did she mean by symbol of her hatred.

"Wake her up!" Ji Yuyan said.
The moment, Ning Mei found one of the man advancing near her. And she absolutely did not want that.
So she acted, as if she was just gaining her consciousness, and the man stopped in her tracks.
Ji Yuyan looked at the girl coming back to her senses with folded eyes. Ning Mei opened her eyes and then looked at them with furrowed eyebrows.
She acted completely confused and then looking at Ji Yuyan, she asked, "Aunty? Where am I?"
Ning Mei looked around, and then tried to move. But she seemed to discover that she was binded to the chair.
With a scared frown, she asked, " Aunty? What is this? W- why am I binded? "
Ji Yuyan smiled sinisterly, as she said, " Well... There are a few reasons. Would you like me to address it one by one? "
Ning Mei then saw a sharp knife in her hand and she advanced near her. Looking at that, Ning Mei’s eyes narrowed.
She came upto her and said, " Your stomach looks flat and in quite a good shape. But I heard that you are carrying Gu Shaoting’s grandchild?"
Saying that, she pushed like top of the knife a little, causing Ning Mei’s heart to leap in her throat.
"Aunty?" Ning Mei wishpered in disbelief. Well, the disbelief was real. How did she know that she was pregnant?!

Ning Mei asked with a frown, " So what do you want?"

It looked as if she was waiting for this question to be asked for all her life. She said,
"I want you dead."

Ning Mei was speechless. She was actually speechless. Because what type of want was that! Why would she want her dead?!
