Elder Ning turned a so much confused and a lot irritated. " What do you mean? How is she married? And whom is she married to?!"
How can someone marry his granddaughter without asking him permission to take her away from him!
But before Ning Jiming could answer, they heard footsteps. Crisp footsteps clicking on the floor tiles. Ning Jiming and Ning Yushen were just about to go to the door to take a look on who has arrived when, a figure stood in front of them. A handsome figure in that.
" I am her husband. " He said.
Yu Lian and Ning Jiming stood and looked at the speechelessly. He was currently the least expected person to be here. But again, looking at Ning Mei’s condition, he was not totally unexpected too.
But on the other side, Ning Yushen and Elder Ning looked at him with a big frown on their foreheads.
Elder Ning stood up and asked, " And who are you?"
The whole time, Gu Yeze’s eyes were focused on his wife, who still lay on the bed with her eyes closed. He stepped inside, and though his insides were itching in the most horrible way to just rush to his wife, he held himself up and turned to bow deeply in front of Elder Ning and said, " Greetings grandfather, I am Gu Yeze. Ning Mei’s husband. "
Elder Ning and Ning Yushen’s eyebrows shot up, as they looked at the handsome young man raising up from the deep bow. It was then, that Feng Ye had returned back to them room, and on seeing Gu Yeze, he exclaimed, " Elder brother!"
Elder Ning and Ning Yushen were surprised that Feng Ye knew this young man. Ning Yushen asked him, " Feng Ye, you know him? "
Feng Ye nodded and said in the most casual way, " Ofcourse I do. He is my First Elder brother and Ning Mei’s husband. "
And before, they could grasp the news completly, Ning Mei returned back to her senses and murmured something as she opened her eyes.
Gu Yeze could not hold any longer and rushed to her side. He sat by her side and held her hand, " Yes, Mei! I am here."
Ning Mei had just opened her eyes. She did not know what had happened, but to see her husband’s face the first was always a bliss.
On feeling his loving and oh so familiar warmth, Ning Mei drew closer to him and out her head on his lap. Gu Yeze gladly let Ning Mei donas she wished and get comfortable. He held her hands and rubbed it.
The other people in the room looked speechelessly at the couple showing their love without any sense of their presence. Feng Ye finally shook his head and sighed. This two....
He said, " Hey! You too! Do you remember you both are not in your own rooms! And that there are people here?! "
Ning Mei clicked her tongue in annoyance and said as she raised her head, " Who the hell is here - Oops! "
She had completely forgotten that she was in the Ning Mansion.
Then on realising something, her whipped her head to look at Gu Yeze, and her eyes widened like sausages. She sat up in hurry and looked ghostly.
Feng Ye looked at her and understood very well on what she was thinking. He said, " It’s alright. Everyone here knows that he is the son in law of the house. "
Ning Mei turned to look at him with another shock filled gaze. She then sighed and rubbed her face with her palms. Come on! Why is it like this every time?! Why do we have to meet each others parents so unannounced!!
And just then, they heard another sound of footsteps coming towards the room. And soon two men leaded by Wen Xiao arrived. "Boss!"
Ning Yushen and Elder Ning looked at all this dumbfoldedly. They didn’t know what was happening in their own mansion themselves.
Elder Ning looked at his grandson and others in the room. And it seemed like everyone in the room had an idea of what was happening except him and his son.
Elder Ning looked at Ning Mei and said seriously, " Xiao Mei, I guess this time you have to do some serious explaining. "
Ning Mei sighed and nodded. She then waving her hand said, " And you guys, can you all just sit down, please. It is too intimidating for me when all of you are standing like that, glaring at me. "
Finally everyone settled down and Ning Mei officially introduced everybody to her husband.
Elder Ning and Ning Yushen were shocked like never before. He is Gu Yeze! Gu Yeze, the CEO of Gu Corporations?!! Unbelievable!
Earlier, when Gu Yeze had introduced himself with his name, they did not pay much attention. And even if they did, they surely did not think that he was that Gu Yeze!
Elder Ning chided Ning Mei a little doubtfully and said, "Xiao Mei, you know that joking about something like this is not funny right?"
