Chasing My CEO Husband

Chapter 397: REAL FUN AWAITING

’That place would soon be mine!’, Shen Qian swore in her mind. Before taking a sip from her drink and moving to the other direction to mingle with others.

And it was not like, she had no other options other than him. Internally, she also knew that he wasn’t actually really loyal to her. And neither was she.

But she had to secure her future, by finding a rich man to marry to and support her. And currently, he the best of the options available to her.

After sometime, the Yu family too entered. It was Mr and Mrs Yu. They directly went to Elder Ning to greet him first. Then also blessed Ning Jiming. It had been long too that they did not see him.

Elder Ning was really happy to see them. And he asked, " It is a pleasure for me that you came. But why is it only the two of you? Where is little girl Yu?" He said asking about Yu Lian.

" Oh, she told us that she would be coming here with one of her friend. She told us to come first. " Mr Yu replied.

Elder Ning nodded in understanding and the four of them engaged into a conversation. Soon, there was a commotion at the entrance.

People turned their heads to look at the handsome duo entering. It was Feng Ye and Li Chen. Many of them were shocked to see Feng Ye here, as they did not know Ning family had acquaintances with him. But then most of them were not too shocked as well.

After all, he could be here as an acquaintance of Ning Yiyi as well. It would not be a surprise in any case, given that they have worked in a drama together.

And among the surprised once, there were Shen Qian, Ning Yan and Ning Yiyi as well. Shen Qian was so pleasantly surprised as she always had an obsession with him from her high school days. But even when fate have her a few opportunities to meet him, he never paid her attention, sadly.

She met Feng Ye for the first time, when she was friends with Yu Lian and Ning Mei. He was their best friend. And sometimes, he used to share courtesys with her, out of politeness when they were around.

But after, Ning Mei had been framed in that drug case, and was kicked out of the Ning family, it wasn’t even that anymore. Though, their friendship did not break officially, as she was never exposed or anything, but after that day, she had seen neither of those girls.

Even if she somewhere sees Feng Ye, he would pass her as if he doesn’t know her.

Thinking about it, Shen Qian lightly frowned. "Did he think that I was also involved in drugs with them as I friends with them?"

As she thought of this, her eyes slightly widened in panick. It would not be good if he thought like that.

Feng Ye and Li Chen directly went upto Elder Ning and Ning Jiming. Mr and Mrs Yu were also there with them. Everyone looked happy to see Feng Ye. He greeted everyone happily.

Feng Ye then introduced Li Chen to them as his friend and he too greeted everyone.

Feng Ye knew there was going to be a top class drama here and, he wanted someone to share his popcorn with.

They all chatted a little, before Li Chen excused himself from them, as he found another acquaince of him. And he went to talk to him.

He also got a glance of Ning Yiyi, who did not notice him yet. And even if she did, she would barely remember him as the one she hired three years ago.

These people here, were like a family to him. They always treated him so good.

Elder Ning patted on Feng Ye’s shoulder and said, " Boy, I see you frequently on TV. You have been doing better and better with your career. "

Ning Jiming smiled and added, " He always had a hardcore passion for it. It was bound to happen one day. "

Mrs Yu then pinched his ear and said, " You little boy! When Yu Lian and Ning Mei were home, you used to visit aunty so often. But now you have forgotten about us completely, have you? "

Feng Ye laughed and said, " Oh, no. Aunty, how can I forget about you! I have been so busy that I barely even go home. Haven’t you seen my recent projects? "

Mrs Yu nodded and said, " Yes. Yes. Recently another drama had aired of yours, named Love and Friendship. I quite enjoyed that one too. Ning Yiyi was also there in the drama.

And yes! Your co star was really pretty! Her name also happens to be Ning Mei, isn’t it? "

Mr and Mrs Yu, did not know that this Ning Mei was the same Ning Mei. And they also did not know that their daughter managed her.

On hearing Ning Mei’s name, Elder Ning’s eyes lit up. He suddenly turned so interested and said, " Really? Who is she? Is she our Ning Mei?"

Feng Ye had been stuck in a deliema. He knew how desperately Elder Ning was waiting for Ning Mei’s arrival today as she promised.

He was stuck between telling him everything now and not telling him anything now.

Before he could say something, Mrs Yu spoke. " Oh, no, no. Uncle Ning. She is a different girl with the same name. At first, I also felt that our Ning Mei returned, but Yu Lian told me that it was not her. "

The excitement in Elder Ning’s face diminished by a little. And Feng Ye felt guilty for it.

He knew they would catch him for not telling the truth earlier, when everything would be revealed.

Just when he was about to say something else, he saw Ning Yiyi stroding towards them from afar. And this time, he decided to just keep quiet.

Anyway, everything would soon be unveiled with a BOOM. The real fun would be that time.
