Gu Yehan pulled out his phone and checked his face on his selfie camera. Turning his face left and right, he said, "Those paps must have got some good shots of me, isn’t it?"
Lee Hao, who was turning anxious thinking that maybe Gu Yehan was a little pissed by the paparazzis. Maybe he did not like it. But he was stucked dumb when he heard him.
He was more conscious about whether he got good pictures or not?
Lee Hao nodded his head, cleared his throat a little and said, " Yes sir. They must have good good shots. "
If they don’t get good pictures of this picture perfect man, then it is shameful for themselves to be called paparazzis.
Hearing his words Gu Yehan smirked and said, " Yes, they must have. I had paid good attention to my looks after all. "
Lee Hao did not know what to say and smiled smiled. He had learnt one more thing about the Gu siblings today that no matter how tough and strict they were in their professional life, at the end of the day, they still had that little child in them.
Finally, Gu Liya’s car pulled up in front of the entrance. Lee Hao was there to receive them as well. This time, the paparazzis also knew that it was the CEO.
Both the doors of the passenger seat opened, taking them by surprise. And then emerged two beautiful ladies from the car.
Everyone’s eyes widened on seeing them and a series of gasps and murmurs filled the crowd.
First thing that crossed their minds are, "NING MEI?!"
Ofcourse, she would be here. She was the brand ambassador after all.
So the other lady must be the CEO! The started snapping the best pictures they could. The only thing that was going on in their heads was, ’Beautiful’. Two gorgeous ladies in the same frame was perfect!
Gu Liya and Ning Mei allowed them to capture some pictures before they went inside with Lee Hao to the room where Gu Yehan was.
When the reached the room, they found Gu Yehan munching on the snacks that were given to him.
Seeing Ning Mei, Gu Yehan waved his hand and said, " Hii... Sister in law! " But the next second, as if realising something, he suddenly cramped shut his mouth and widened his eyes.
Ning Mei slightly raised her brows, and Gu Liya narrowed her eyes , while Lee Hao looked confused.
Ho! Ho! He just wanted to slap his mouth silly right now! Gu Liya was here, and his ass head had to scream ’sister in law’ ??!
Then clearing his throat, he tried to correct his words, " I meant Sister and Ning Mei, hii."
Ning Mei chuckled looking at her brother in law’s poor attempt of covering his mistake. And Gu Liya huffed, and said, " Sister in law? Huh?! "
Gu Yehan frantically shook his head and awkwardly laughed, " No. No. No. It is nothing like that. It was really a slip of tongue, really ! "
Gu Liya smirked and said, as she sat on the couch nearby, " I never knew you called me as ’sister’, Brother. "
Gu Yehan furrowed his brows anxiously. He had messed big time! He turned to Ning Mei who interestedly looked at the drama being unfolded and said, " Sister in- , No! Miss Ning, tell that it is nothing like that! "
Gu Liya huffed and said, " No need to drag Sister in law in your lousy attempt of covering your mistake, Dumbo! "
Gu Yehan turned annoyed right now and as if throwing a fist, he said, " Don’t you dare call me a Dumbo! And really, she is just Mi- Wait What! Why did you call her sister in law!
See! See! You also had a slip of tongue! "
Gu Liya sneered and said, " What? I did not call her by mistake! I know that she is our sister in law, and First Brother’s wife. "
Gu Yehan’s eyes widened like big sausages and he looked as if he could not believe what he was hearing. He turned his head to look at Ning Mei, as if to make sure, and saw her nod.
" No way! How? When? How did you know? Gu Yehan exclaimed. He was not in the city for more than two weeks, and had only returned yesterday when Grandfather told him to go to Gu Liya’s press conference, so that she gains some confidence and that other’s know well that she is someone whom they can not randomly mess with.
But why has noone said about this revelation to him yet!
Gu liya finally told him about the club incident and how they became friends.
Hearing everything, Gu Yehan nodded his head with his lips shaped as an ’O’.
Gu Liya then harumped and shot him a glare and said, " Tell me, second brother! Why did you never tell this to me! It feels so left to know that I have a sister in law, yet I did not know it earlier. "
Gu Yehan pressed his lips and stared at his sister for a good five seconds, before he said, " Did you tell about this to Mother or grandmother? "
Gu Liya frowned and said, " Why will I? Sister in law and Brother Yeze, does not want them to know yet. "
Gu Yehan shrugged and said, " See. Exactly. "
This had Gu Liya go quiet. She could not find a comeback to his words.
Ning Mei laughed at the bickering between the siblings and she said, " Alright. Alright. It’s fine. I had told Gu Yehan not to tell anybody about mine and Gu Yeze’s marriage. You know, it’s about the kick of hidden marriage."
Everyone laughed, and it was all fun untill they remembered the presence of another person in the room. The three if then turned towards Lee Hao in unison and sound him standing frozen in shock as he looked at Ning Mei in shock.
She was Gu Yeze’s wife?!!
Sensing the gazes on him, he cleared his voice and said, " I am sorry. Please don’t mind my presence. "
Ning Mei chuckled and waved her hand. She said, " It’s alright. You are a friend after all. And I don’t intend to stretch this drama much longer anyway."
