Ye Lifie leaped forward to snatch the video from Yu Lian’s hand and before she could get her hold on that, Yu Lian moved her hands, and due to the height advantage, he raised her hand upward, and moved backward.
Jun Liqing then held Ye Lifie’s arm and pulled her back before she could do anything else to hurt Yu Lian.
Yu Lian chuckled and said, " Don’t be so pathetic, Ye Lifie. You destroy this, and we have more back up. Behave, and we will not do anything to your public image. But misbehave and see what worse happens to you. "
Ye Lifie heaved with her gritted teeth, and furious demeanor. And it was something completely new for Bai Shaohung to see. He had always known her as a successful, career oriented, shy ,graceful and polite girl.
And looking at her wild self now, it was so embarrassing for even him.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before calling, " Ye Lifie, you have already make quite a fool of your self. Please stop. "
" I am making a fool of myself?!! You have made a fool of me, you Bastard! It’s all because of you that I am in this position right now! " Ye Lifei yelled as she whipped her head towards Bai Shaohung, taking him by surprise.
His face darkened and he said, " How am I responsible for you being a whore!? " It irked him, how she straight away labelled him as the culprit.
" How not?! I have thought before dating you that I will not face any problems or not have any shortage of anything if I find a rich boyfriend! But you-! You always had to be that goody - woody dog! You don’t even have a good relationship with your father! Who knows if he will involve you in his will or not!
Bahh! You thought I loved you? My foot! I was always ready to leave a good for nothing man like you, if I found a better one!"
Ye Lifie spatted in the end.
Bai Shaohung started shaking due to his overwhelming emotions. Everyone present there sneered in disgust towards Ye Lifie. If there was a scale for shamelessness, this woman would have topped it.
" Ye Lifie. Get lost from my sight. " Bai Shaohung said, his eyes looking nowhere but at the ground.
Ye Lifie refused to just let her own image sully and everyone look down upon her. She would only go from here, after badmouthing him too. " But you- "
But just when he started, Bai Shaohung yelled loudly, " I said get lost from my sight! Other wise, I swear I would kill you right now!"
His shout was so unexpected and loud that even the others were taken aback and Ye Lifie’s heart jumped in her ribcage.
But this time, she did not miss the murderous intent in his eyes. She gritted her teeth, stromped her heels and went away from there. After few moments, a car drove away from the side, that was hers.
The next second, Bai Shaohung fell on his knees and broke out in tears. He covered his face with his hands and cried. The sight was heart wrenching, and everyone standing there felt bad for the man. It was hard to look at a big, grown and tough man break out in tears like this.
It was hard for him. It was very hard for him to accept all this. And what was more unacceptable was her blaming him for her own indecency.
What had he not dine for her?! He had given her everything he could. He had helped her gambler father and criminal brother numerous times. He had cut of his relationship with his own father because he did not support him being with Ye Lifie.
The only thing he did not give her was something that was out of his own capabilities or was wrong.
He had loved her so much and had planned on spending his whole life with her. And what did he get in return? Being played on and being cheated?!
After a while when Bai Shaohung’s sobs quitened, Tang Xuhang squatted beside him and put his hand on his shoulders and patted it.
Bai Shaohung had still not raised his head as he kept on staring down in trance.
" It’s alright, Shaohung. What ever happened has happened for good. All that matters is that you know the truth, isn’t it? Atleast your future is dafe now. And don’t trust women like her in the future. " Tang Xuhang said.
Though he was really angry with Bai Shaohung on how he had behaved with him and treated him in last two years. But right now, seeing the big man in this condition, he could not blame him some how.
It was just a scratch on his career, which he could fix with time and a good PR. But this man here had received a big dent on his heart, which God knows his long it would take to fix.
Bai Shaohung looked at Tang Xuhang. His eyes were swollen and his face looked red. He said, " Xuhang, why did you not make me see this earlier? You could have slapped with and made me see this reality! At- atleast it would have hurt less than what it is doing now.
Also, I was so unjust to you. I had wronged you a lot, isn’t it? Your career had recieved a bad blow because of me stupidly believing anyone. "
Tang Xuhang gave a small smile and shook his head. He said, " Let bygones be bygones. I am atleast happy that you have cleared the misunderstanding regarding me.
And given the topic of my career, meet my amazing team. There are already doing a lot to mend my career. And they are the one who helped me bring Ye Lifie’s reality in front of you. "
Bai Shaohung turned towards them and bowed deeply. He said, " Thank you so much for saving my future.
You have done so much for me. And the least I can do to show my gratitude to you and Tang Xuhang is to help fix his public image.
Tomorrow my company is going to issue a public apology to Tang Xuhang for what happened two years back and announce my break up with Ye Lifie. Thank you again. "
Saying he turned to Tang Xuhang and hugged him, then left.
The others could understand his mental condition and let him go without extending the conversation. Their goal was already accomplished and Tang Xuhang’s image would be cleared with the statement that would be released tommorow.
