A month passed by with Ning Mei being busy with her on hand projects and shoots. She had completed with some left over bits of shooting for LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP, the shooting for Heavenly Emperor’s Angel was also completed. Even the photoshoot for the Koral international launch was done, which would make her the official brand ambassador of Koral in the national and the international market.
The dates were yet to be decided for the release of Koral’s international launch and airing of LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP, while Heavenly Emperor’s Angel’s release date was already fixed.
It has been a pressuring month on her, but as well as promising one. And Ning Mei did not even once complain about it for once.
Right now, she was in her office going through some of the documents related to the artists of the company. They recently are fairly doing well after Jun Liqing implemented new rules and causes added to their contract.
She was looking into them, when she heard the knock on her door and heard Xu Ting’s voice, " Miss Ning, may I come in? "
Ning Mei permitted him and as he entered Ning Mei smiled at him and said, " Hi. Have a seat. "
Xu Ting nodded and took his seat across Ning Mei and asked politely, " Miss Ning, you wanted to talk to me? " He had received a call a while ago from her and she had asked him to meet her in her office.
Ning Mei nodded and said, " I heard you are really well nowadays. And that your Youku page is gaining a lot of engagement and viewership? "
Within a span of a month’s time, Xu Ting’s Youku page has been doing great. It has already more than five hundred followers, which was a lot to make in such short time.
The team had been uploading two videos per day so as to increase it’s reach. And it worked fine.
Xu Ting smiled shyly at Ning Mei’s words and rubbed the back of his neck. He cleared his throat and said, " Thank you for your compliment, Miss Ning. But half or more of the efforts was put in by the team, Jun Liqing and Miss Yu. It’s all thanks to them. "
Ning Mei chuckled, he was blushing! And it was very sweet of him to give the rightful credits to Jun Liqing and Yu Lian. They had after all worked very hard.
Also the more Ning Mei looked at him the more clearly she understood how he got the hype in his Youku channel so fast. I mean, just look at him now! With him paying attention to his body and hitting the gym regularly, with his look and style greatly changed, Xu Ting looked so much more handsome than before.
She had seen the Statics of the the channels and most of the subscribers were female
And why not? Which female in her right mind would not like to look and hear a guy with good looks and a beautiful voice , and the one who can play instruments!
Also, Ning Mei had asked Jun Liqing to hype up the old videos from the singing reality show three years back again. And that too did it’s work perfectly.
Xu Ting rubbed his nose awkwardly when he saw Ning Mei continue staring at him for more than three minutes without saying anything.
Ning too realised that the look she was passing him was making her creepy in his eyes.
She then blinked her eyes asked him, " So, I heard from Yu Lian that she has arranged a talk show for you. And the episode would air on the TV as well as be uploaded on their Youku channel. It is had quite good numbers of followers and are gaining popularity too. "
Xu Ting gave a nervous nod and said, " It will be a very long time that I will see myself on TV again. "
The reality show was also aired on TV after all. And it has almost been three years to it.
Ning Mei smiled at him. ’ It must be so squeal to appear on TV and be watched by millions of people, isn’t it?’, Ning Mei thought to herself.
Though she has completed her projects, she was eagerly waiting for the day when she and her work would appear in the TV and the big screen. The day she would debute big!
She smiled encouraging at him and said, " Prepare well before going there, alright."
The poor man could not even nod , as before that the door was bragged open and an enthusiastic and loud creature entered almost jumping, " Goddess! Welcome back! "
Ning Mei pressed her lips together and looked at him with not so happy eyes! This boy opened the door so roughly and she felt her own heart ache for the wood.
" Tang Xuhang, you are going to pay if my door receives any injury? " Ning Mei warned him.
Tang Xuhang stopped in his tracks dumbfolded. Injury? And the door? Does a door her injury? Don’t get her cracked, scratched or broken?
But then he shrugged? Who cares? Might be a new term in town. He then smiled at Ning Mei widely before coming to sit opposite Ning Mei beside Xu Ting, as he put an arm on his shoulders and said, " Alright. I will pay. I have lots and lots of money. "
’ Your dad has a lots and lots of money. ’ Ning Mei corrected him in her heart but sahd nothing loud. This rich young masters.
Ning Mei was about to say something, but Tang Xuhang cut in her words and said, " Welcome back, Goddess! It has been almost a month that this building was not graced by your presence. Now it is blessed. You were missed here every single day. "
Ning Mei was taken aback for a moment and she did not know how exactly to respond to his sudden overwhelming words!
She grinned and then said sassily, " Ofcourse I would be missed. I am so lovely after all. "
" Exactly! Just like me! " Tang Xuhang exclaimed.
If there was one thing Ning Mei and Tang Xuhang had in common, that would no doubt be the level of narcissism.
