Gu Yeze stared at Ning Mei who was driving the car, supposedly taking him somewhere for a walk.

Ning Mei turned her head to find Gu Yeze staring at her and she asked with a smile, " What are you thinking? About Jiming ge? "

God, since when did her husband become so impatient!

Gu Yeze instantly zipped his lips and nodded obliquely.

" Good boy. " Ning Mei said. And she went inside the convience store.

After a few minutes, Ning Mei walked out with a big packet. She came back to the car and stuffed it in the backseat, and got back in the car.

" What is in it? " Gu Yeze asked curiously.

" Snacks! " Ning Mei answered happily and Gu Yeze asked in slight disbelief, " Did we not just have dinner? "

Ning Mei cheekily smile and said, " Yes, we did. But the place we are going is better with snacks. "

Gu Yeze exhaled and said, " And where is your good place? "

" Here " Saying Ning Mei turned the car, and entered into the park where she had once come. It had not restrictions for time and was always open, so that was not an issue.

It was a moon lit night like the other day and everything was visible clearly without turning on the flashlights.

She parked the car after finding a good place and got off the car. And Gu Yeze also followed suit after her.

Again the park was empty, and she could not see anyone there. Or maybe she was just at the other side of it, and people did not visit it much at night.

She held Gu Yeze’s hand and they started walking. Ning Mei asked, " See, isn’t it beautiful and so peaceful here? "

Gu Yeze nodded his head in acceptance and said, " Yes, it is." And heard her say, " Last time when I came here, I decided to come here again with you. It’s just so peaceful and serene. "

Gu Yeze raised an eyebrow and asked, " When did you come here last time? "

Ning Mei recalled the entire events so that she could make him understand with ease and said, " Do you remember the last time you went for a business trip and I came to stay at my apartment? "

" Yes... " Gu Yeze remember that, and he also remembered how irked he was when he found out that she left their the moment he was away.

" And that night, I sent you a hot picture of mine. Then you called me and I was on the road walking to grab so food. You remember? " She asked, to which Gu Yeze nodded again.

" Yes, this was the convience store to get something where I went today. And then later, I came here to have them. " She said.

Gu Yeze nodded and said, " Oh, I see. "

The couple walked aimlessly for a few minutes, enjoying the peace under the moon lit night and nature, together with their loved one.

Then they came and sat on the bench infront of the beautiful pond that reflected the moon amist the cloud on the dark water.

Ning Mei was currently munching on some chips, and occasionally feeding one or two to Gu Yeze.

Ning Mei looked at the dense trees on the other side of the pond and she remembered the events that she saw had transpired that night.

She continued staring at the woods, something continuously going on in her mind. At that time, Gu Yeze was saying something but Ning Mei was so lost that she did not catch what he said.

Gu yeze on noticing called her, " Mei? Mei? "

" Ah? Yes? Ning Mei answered, coming out of her trance. " Were you saying something?"

" Yes. And you weren’t listening. " Gu Yeze said.

Ning Mei smiled apologetically and said, " I am sorry. My mind was just diverted. So, yes? What were you saying? "
