Xu Ting on being repulsed by the absurd offers for selling his virtues, he refused the offers. And without any doubts, he started losing jobs. At that time, he did not have any manager and he used to manage his own works, contracts and projects.
Xu Ting, at that time wasn’t even signed to any entertainment agency, though a lot of them sought out for him. Finally, he decided to sign to Sky Entertainment because it was a new horse in the industry. And at that time it was doing well too. After he joined here, it went alright for sometime, before the previous Vice President was resigned.
Xu Ting started getting more pressurized and was at a dead end in his career. New faces were constant in the industry, and many had powerful background to help them. And the one’s who lacked it, accepted the offers in the industry. And then they later found themselves a sugar daddy.
But Xu Ting was in a big disadvantage from both ends. Neither did he come from a powerful background, nor did he agree to sell his virtues. Also the new Vice President was a jerk. The worst one could be.
Finally, Xu Ting gave up on his dreams. And his career flopped soon after it started. Though, he still loved singing, he did not run behind it as madly as he did in his early years, because he understood that this entertainment world of wild wasn’t for someone like him.
From the last couple of years, he helped in his father’s grocery shop, and helped his family.
Though his contract with Sky Entertainment was still valid, it did not matter. After all, he did not have anything to do with the industry and neither did any one cared about it.
He was confused when he got a call again from Jun Liqing. And though a part of his heart was tempted to the offer, a part of his heart also rebeled. He did not want to waste his time and energy Chasing something that is never meant to be his.
After after a long thought, he had made it very clear that he was ready to give it a try, but his condition was that, he would not do anything that went against his virtues.
Ning Mei quietly listened to him as he understood what he meant to say.
As he spoke, Ning Mei in her mind thanked her lord and heavens a million times. She knew she has a lot of privileges in this matter. She had all the freedom to make choices and chase after her dreams.
She had a constant support from her brother, Grandpa and also her husband, Gu Yeze.
After he finished speaking, Ning Mei nodded her head and said, " Do not worry, Xu Ting. If you work with us, I assure you that we will not force you to do anything you don’t want to. And if you want, we can even renew the contract and state it clear that you will not be forced to do anything that went against his virtues.
Hearing her, there was a subtle hint of releif on his face. Ning Mei noticed that he had brought a guitar bag with him, and she said, " Xu Ting, play something for us. Let me hear what do you still have with yourself. "
Xu Ting nodded and took out his guitar. He brought a chair to him and sat there positioning the guitar to his comfort. And the next second, he stuck a cord. Then he started sining. It was a cover of a national award winning song sung by renowned singer two years back. He had sung it in the finals of the signing competition and he won it.
The song was nearly three to four minutes long. And when he finished it, there was pin drop silence in the room.
Ning Mei was first one who blinked her eyes on realising that the song was over. And wow!
If he would have not won a singing competition with this godly level singing, Ning Mei did not know who deserved to win.
One by one, everyone came out of their trance. And the next second, the other three people together with Ning Mei clapped their hands for him! He was that good!
Ning Mei had a big smile on her face as she said, " Wow! That was too good! "
" Yes! It felt as if I am listening to a very famous singer on television! "
Jun Liqing too nodded her head. She has heard his singing , and she knew he had a lot of potential in him. It was just that he did not know the path to the stardom that awaits for him!
" Damn bro! Looking at you, no one can tell that you sing so well! You impressed me really! " Tang Xuhang said as he clapped his shoulder.
Xu Ting pursed his lips a little shyly. He was overwhelmed by so many praises after a long time. Ever since, he had gave up singing in stages and studios, Xu Ting also stopped signing in front of many people. He would just sometimes sing when he was alone, or to his parents.
Ning Mei smilingly said, " Xu Ting, do you agree to work with us. Because if you do, I assure you that , you will put efforts from your side too, we will really help you with your dreams. "
Xu Ting on hearing her, went quiet for a while, before he slowly nodded his head. He said, " If Sky Entertainment is ready to put efforts on my work , without letting me do anything unvirtuous, I am ready to work hard and spend my time and energy too. "
After all it was his all time dream too, to become a renowned singer.
Ning Mei nodded with a smile, before she heard another impatient voice, " And what about me! I also have a lot of talent! I also want to be a part of the work with my Goddess!
