Chapter 315: BLOODY BODIES

" Huh? But why? " Gu Liya asked him.

Lee Hao smiled sheepishly as he answered, " Ma’am, the tomorrow is my and my wife’s second wedding anniversary. Therefore, I would like to spend the whole day and night with her. "

Hearing him, the three girls pursed their lips happily. And Gu Liya said, " Alright. Ofcourse you should spend time with your wife. So I will just change the date for the celebration. Lets- "

" No, no. Please ma’am. Don’t do this. You three must enjoy yourself. Either way, what would an old man like me do between three young girls like you?" Lee Hao stopped Gu Liya from postponing her plans.

Gu Liya smiled and said, " It’s alright. Enjoy your day with your wife. " She did not want to force him if he did not want to.

It was then he got a call and after answering it, Lee Hao said, " Ma’am, I need to visit the garment store for inspection now. The analytics will be ready by tomorrow. "

Gu Liya nodded and let him go. Then turning to the girls, she asked with a hint of anticipation, " So you girls are up for it, isn’t it? Ning Mei, you will be coming , right? "

Ning Mei could see the anticipation in the young woman’s eyes, and she nodded, " Yes. " It would be a lie of she were to say that Ning Mei was not thrilled to find out that Gu Liya wanted to hang out with her. She wanted to establish a fine relationship with her after all.

Yu Lian too agreed excitedly to it.

Finally the contract signing was over. Yu Lian was the one to leave first. She had brought her own car, and also they needed to be going to Sky Entertainment after this.

Ning Mei told Yu Lian to go there first and look over the matters there, while she had some matters to address first.

After Yu Lian left, Ning Mei and Gu Liya met at the parking lot. Gu Liya was waiting for her, as Ning Mei was talking to Yu Lian instructing something about the agency.

When she came, Gu Liya asked, " All done? " Ning Mei nodded and , she said, " let’s go."

Gu Liya then took her towards the corner of the parking lot. There was an iron door, which was locked. She fetched a key from her bag and unlocked the door. And when she pushed it open, Ning Mei and Gu Liya both stood in shock with their eyes wide open.

What they saw in front of them were the floor totally smeered with bloody and six bloody bodies laying there lifeless. Each of the men were shot on their foreheads.

Ning Mei and Gu Liya stood in shock as they did not even imagine this.

After a couple minutes later, Ning Mei moved from her space and walked to the dead bodies with a serious expression on her face.

" Ning Mei, don’t. " Gu Liya tried stopping her. She did not like the idea of going near the bloody lifeless bodies, without knowing about the killer.

Ning Mei did not turn to look at her, as she inspected the surrounding, while she said, " Don’t worry. It’s alright. "

Gu Liya frowned slightly when she saw Ning Mei walking around the bodies.

The room had no other door, or windows. There were just many huge iron chests in which bulk order or unstitched garments or other stuffs were kept. There was no sign of breaking in the room either, as the door was locked and everything else was fine , except the dead.

Ning Mei once again checked their clothes. She too knew very well that these few men did not have any weapons with them when they attacked them. She could tell from their actions that they had no intentions of hurting them, but their sole focus was on capturing. But who were they here to capture?

She then heard Gu Liya’s concerned voice, " Ning Mei, what are you looking for? "

Ning Mei stood up from the ground, dusting her hands.

She said, " There were not here to kill us. And.. they are not simple mischief makers."

Ning Mei wanted Gu Liya to know that they were assassin, though low grade. And they weren’t some mere theif or robbers.

Gu Liya nodded as she too understood that. As a Gu family member, who had been seeing different type of security threat, she too had an idea about it.

Turning to Ning Mei, Gu Liya said, " Ning Mei, it would be better if we don’t inform the police or authorities about it. I have better connections who would look into the matter . And as we don’t know who they were here for. It could be me or it could be you. So stay safe, alright.

Atleast we can still be assured that they weren’t here for our lives. "

Ning Mei nodded at her words. She knew the connection she was speaking about was Gu Yeze. But Ning Mei did not say anything about it.

Now, they had to know who did this. Gu kiya called the security guards whom she had instructed to bind these men. After sometime, the two men came rushing to the spot and when they saw the dead bodies, it felt as if their own soul was sucked out.

Both the men looked in horror. She were so shocked that they even forgot to react.

Gu Liya glared at them with cold eyes and she asked them in an icy tone, " How did this happen? "

The two men shook in fear. They looked at the dead bodies laying there and then to their employer, " Ma- Ma’am, w-we really don’t know! After binding them, we had locked them here and gone back to our jobs. "

Gu Liya was enraged hearing this. She slammed the iron chest, near her in anger and frustration, causing the men to flinch and said, "Then how did they die! There are only two keys of the lock! One that I had given to you guys earlier in the morning and one is with me! Then how! "

But then the next second, Ning Mei as if realising something, she said, " Where is the other key? "
