" But please..." The girl tried to say something desperately, but Ning Mei cut in her words, " Okay if you insist so much, the job role for a cleaner is open, you can join that. " She said while waving her hands.
The receptionist went speechless hearing that. While, Jun Liqing who did not like the girl since before, almost chuckled out. But then she quickly hid it clearing her throat and pretending to be busy on the computer.
The girl clenched her fists tightly and gritted her teeth. She wanted to tell at Ning Mei, but something in her warned her not to. After all, the condition of Zhou Beiguang did not leave her mind yet.
" I would rather leave. " She says with gritting teeth. She would atleast not be a cleaning person in the same company where she had previously thrown her temper around, just because she had Zhou Beiguang’s favors.
Ning Mei said with a nod, " As it suits you. " The girl asked for her leave, and turned away. But Ning Mei did notice the gritting of her teeth and the clenched fists on her sides.
Ning Mei called her, causing the girl to turn back towards Ning Mei, and she said, " You will be paid for this month. But in return iit is expected from you to keep what information you received today a secret. My identity should not be exposed by you in any means. And if you do, the consequences won’t be pretty. "
The girl simply nodded and left. She was now atleast content with the pay for the month, as it was still the start of the month. Also, she now had nothing to do with the company, so it did not bother her anyway. She was happy to be going from here, after witnessing Zhou Beiguang’s condition. Anyway, she did not have much expectations from the falling company either, nor from the new CEO.
Back in Jun Liqing’s office, the girls got into work. As the three were starting from the scratch and were in need of each other, neither of them showed any kind of arrogance or haugty air. What was the need after all? Every one were experiencing something new. They need to revive to the company with one another’s help.
Jun Liqing reported Ning Mei about the active artists that were signed to the agency. The ones who were still doing fair for themselves. And out of them only a couple of them were present in the company right now, with their managers. And the other staffs would also be present within fifteen minutes.
Ning Mei nodded and told Jun Liqing everything that needed to be said to the people who come here.
•They key points were, informing them about the change in CEO. The identity of the CEO was hidden, but that did not mean that they would not take it seriously and lack in their work. As if they did, they would suffer.
•The next was the proper attendance of the employees. The artists and managers must visit the company atleast three times a week, and report their work.
•They needed to be informed about Jun Liqing’s change in position and Zhou Beiguang not being in control any longer.
Also, the introduction of Ning Mei, as the new artists that is signed to the company.
Jun Liqing nodded and noted down everything.
Soon they had a meeting with everyone. The other employees did not have much doubts. And even the artists and the managers did not raise much concern about it. Infact, they were happy to oblige to if the Agency actually improved from its dire state, and also provide them with benefits.
Also, regarding the change of the CEO, it did not matter much too. They were all small artists with not much name in the industry.
But they were happy that Jun Liqing was appointed as the Vice President, and getting rid of Zhou Beiguang. As the Talent manager, Jun Liqing was the one who helped the artist the most to her capabilities.
And the most excited thing was Ning Mei being signed to the agency. Ning Mei and Yu Lian initially had thought that there will be sparks of jealousy and resentment like how it happens at other agencies. But it seems like they had taken it positively. Or maybe, Ning Mei had not met the jealous ones yet, as there were only three artists here with their managers.
As Ning Mei was a rising name in the industry with recent growing popularity, it was good for the agencies name to be promoted and brought to light, which would inturn benefit them. But then again they also wondered why had she signed with this falling agency, when she could get a lot better options.
After the meeting with them was done and the other people in the agency had gone after meeting Ning Mei, the three were left again.
Ning Mei advised Jun Liqing too get two investment proposals ready for her by today evening. She gave her the clauses for the proposal. And when Jun Liqing heard the other partys, who was the supposed to receive the proposals, it was as if land slipped away from under her feet.
One was to the Ning Enterprise, which was still fine. Ning Mei had told her that she could take time with this one, and it would be fine if she made it till tomorrow. But the other one, which was needed by today evening was to Gu Corporations!
GU CORPORATIONS?! Jun Liqing could already feel her head spinning about writing a proposal to them.
She now started having doubts at Ning Mei. Untill a few seconds earlier, she was placing Ning Mei on a pedestal in her mind with all the high regards. But now she seriously doubted Ning Mei’s sanity!
Even a normal medicore company would not be willing to invest in their company, let alone Gu Corporations! She could still have some hopes up with Ning enterprise, as they were still their shareholders. But Gu Corporations? It was out of their league!
