Later at night, Ning Mei sat on her bed with a glass of juice and her phone after she was done showering and ready for the night. She now opened her Social media sites and was so pleasant surprised and also shocked to find her name trending on top. And the. ELEGLAM by koral trending on second.
And honestly, she could not believe it at all. She refreshed the page many more times to be sure that she wasn’t dreaming or hallucinating. And no! It was all real! She shrieked happily and sent a screenshot of the page to her friends.
Then she opened her comment box, something she had to deal with. Ning Mei saw that the hate comments had increased considerably in numbers. Though, many were positive comment. And some though doubtful questioning comments, were polite enough. But somewhere brutally hateful with horrible curses, but to her pleasant surprise some sensible people tried to defend her too, though not many.
Ning Mei then gulped down her glass of juice and streched her hands to get ready to act like a Queen .
She skimped through the comments again to get a context, and then made a post. It was a all text post where she wrote,
[ Hello everyone,
Firstly I would like to thank everyone for the love and attention that you are showering me and ELEGLAM. And I can not be thankful to each one of you guys enough. As a new comer in the industry, and ELEGLAM being my second big scale project, it truly means a lot. Thank you once more.
But the post is actually with a different intention. I see that my work has been receiving a lot of backlash and negative criticism on it. And I want to know why?
Is my work bad? Was I not able to bring out the best in the designs? Or did I snatch the work from someone else unjustly? I just want to know the reasons I am being targeted so much!
I am new in the industry and I am trying to give my best, but that does not mean I am a laid back character. If the criticisers are expecting me to keep quiet and take all their stupid curses quietly, then I am sorry but you all are messing with the wrong person.
Because why should I even? What do you want? That just because I am a newbie, I reject all the good opportunities that has been given to me? Why should I? Is it not all artist’s dream to get the best? Just because your favourite artist took a lot of years to make it to that level, which I reached early, should I give up on it? Dream on!
And to think that some of you are asking that how was I able collaborate with such brands, when I just entered the industry, then let me tell you how.
You see my face? My Beauty? My figure? My talent? Yes, exactly that.
Also, my manager has been working her as* off trying to secure good deals for me. And it that hardwork is getting paid off, then how is it even a problem.
And a very important point, some of you were also putting some very shameful accusitions on me, saying that I have secured the deals using some underhand methods.
So may I take this as your indication that no new artist can ever make it in the industry without using underhand, dirty methods. And that includes your favourite artists and idols too?
Or do you mean that the brands are not honest enough, and the recruitment of the brands are very shady to use underhand methods. After all, it is always a two party thing isn’t it?
We have noted all the names who has contributed their time on comment horrible names and comments on the post under Koral’s page and mine. After all, it is a case of serious public defamation without any proof .
We have shortlisted ten comments, that are the most shameful. My team will be submitting it to the authorities, and legal actions will be taken against the individuals, if the comments do not get deleted within twenty four hours.
PS. If anyone feels it is a joke, they are free to feel. After all, the ten of you can be any of the curse comment. ]
Ning Mei looked at her long posts and posted it. No. She never had any intention of being the laid back character in the career. She was a powerful girl, and everyone had to know that, she was not crumbling to anyone.
Feeling content with all her lying and overacting, Ning stretched herself with a big smile. Ofcourse she was lying. No one had shortlisted any kind of comments, she just went with the flow and wrote what came into her mind that moment.
Also, she had gaslighted a lot of topics and people indirectly. If everything went according to the plan, then Ning Mei would get her desired results. Or else, she would do something else. She had a lot of connection anyways.

Ning Mei was just casually scrolling through the comments, when she found the comment of GYZ. And she raised her brows in curiousity and surprise. She had been noticing the account from the day it started following her. It had no pictures, no profile photo, nothing.
And it only followed her.
It only liked her story and sometimes sent her costly digital gifts on the social platform.
Is it some rich, prodigal young master who fell in love with me, in the first sight in social media? Ning Mei giggled at her absurd thinking. She even did not know if it was a girl or a boy. What did it matter any way? She had an admirer, and that is enough .
Then she saw the comment, [ They look more like siblings. ]
Ning Mei saw the comment and burst out laughing. She did not know what to think about it, but it felt funny. When everyone was trying to ship Feng ye and her as a couple, this person declared them siblings.
