Feng Ye stared at her back. ’ I will always be your supporter, Meimei. Whether we are Alex and Andrea or Feng Ye and Ning Mei. It will always be the same.’
Then chuckling to himself, he thought, ’ But it is ending that is not same, Alex gets Andrea at last. But I.. I will never get you. ’
Feng Ye released a shaky sigh. But now he felt much better than what he felt a few weeks earlier. At least his heart did not clench and hurt more. Maybe he was getting it little by little. He knew it would take time to overcome these feelings, but he would eventually do it.
He was atleast glad, that Ning Mei chose Gu Yeze and no-one else. He knew she was in the best hands. Gu Yehan had told him how Gu Yeze was latched onto Ning Mei for the past three years. He really loved her.
Also, Feng Ye did not plan on hanging on the one sided feelings any longer, now that he knew that it would not be reciprocated. He was not so great for that. He would love Ning Mei forever as his dearest friend, but withdraw his romantic feelings for her.
Maybe there was also someone meant for him and only him, who would do it for him.
Feng Ye drew his eyes from Ning Mei’s figure, and saw his manager walking to him. And he too walked towards him.

The set was about to get wrapped up for the day. Ning Mei sat at a distance and observed Ning Yiyi. This was the third time she was checking her phone within a minute, and Ning Mei chuckled.
Ning Yiyi had never made any talk with her since the day, her Meilei’s collection and Ning Yiyi’s Koral’s collection were released on the same day.
Though, both the company has been doing good in theor respective sector, and somewhere they were complimented each other as Clothing and jewellery went hand in hand.
But what really striked into competition was them.
Both her’s and Ning Yiyi’s names were on the top of the hot list. And by luck’s grace, she was most of the time above Ning Yiyi’s. Her fame had also skyrocketed I’m the last three days. And this has striked Ning Yiyi’s ego. She did not have any good intentions towards her from the very first day anyways.
When Ning Mei came into the set for the first time, she was being overwhelmed by the praises and congratulatorys. Everyone had something or the other to say. But it was only Ning Yiyi who did not approach her, even once.
She then pulled out the phone from her bag which she used as Ning Muye and texted her.
[ Hi beautiful. Did you miss me today? ]
Ths last two days since she had came back from the Ning family dinner, she had continued to text Ning Yiyi. She had initially only pestered him with the information regarding Ning Jiming, trying to indirectly fish out whether she knew anything about her involvement in the accident or not.
And when Ning Mei made her believe that neither Ning Jiming nor Muye knew about her involvement, she was relieved. Then she started flirting with Ning Muye or better, he started flirting with her.
Ning Mei could obviously guess her reasons for entertaining her. Most probably, she was planing to make her some kind of scrapegoat. No way, or else she was entertaining her for other reasons.
Ning Mei saw Ning Yiyi smile and reply.
[ Ofcourse, I did. No one annoyed me the whole day today. ]
[ So, you think I annoy you, huh? ]
Ning Yiyi smirked and typed, [ Yes, but in a good way. ]
[ Okay, I will catch up to you later. I am a little busy. ]
Ning Mei now wanted to keep Ning Yiyi hung up for her. She raised her eyes, and saw that Ning Yiyi had a slight frown on her face as she stared at her phone and Ning Mei smiled.

The next morning, as Ning Mei was applying her make up in front of the mirror, Gu Yeze came and stood behind her while adjusting his cuff.
Ning Mei closed the lid of the lipstick and smacked her lips together, and she smiled at Gu Yeze through the mirror.
He came up to her and kissed her cheeks saying, " This shade suits you. " Ning Mei smiled wider and turned to him, and said, " Do I look pretty? "
Gu Yeze scanned her appearance and outfit today and found it so pleasing to eyes. She had worn an elegant full sleeved light blue dress, with simple accessories and her hairs were parted from the middle. She tucked a strand of her hairs behind and said, " You always look beautiful. "
Ning Mei tapped the tip of his nose and laughed, " Sweet mouthed as always. You always know what to say. "
Gu Yeze played with her hair and asked, " So what are you plans for today. I heard your scenes are almost coming to an end. Most probably it would take a week at most? "
Ning Mei raised her brows in surprise at him and said, " Woah! Are you keeping an eye? "
Gu Yeze simply shrugged and said, " I have to. After all, I invested in there for you. "
Ning Mei nodded and said, " Yes. Mine and Feng Ye’s scenes will be wrapped up as soon as possible. As Feng Ye’s schedule is tight, his manager asked the director to shoot all the scenes which requires us first. And the director said that mine and Feng Ye’s scenes will be finished first. "
And that will start from tomorrow onwards. So as her most of the scenes now left were with Feng Ye, they would be given their ending, and she would be required during the post production of the drama.
" And right now, I am going to meet Jiming Ge. " Gu Yeze nodded and asked, " Do you want me to drop you? "
Ning Mei shook her head and said, " No, no, it’s fine. I will go on my own. Also, if he sees someone dropping me, he is going to bombard me with lots of questions. That I sure don’t want him to know about you now. That poor soul had already got a lot of shocks in a short span of time. "
After Gu Yeze left, Ning Mei too left to meet Ning Jiming.
She stopped at a private cafe that was owned by the Ning family, and parked her car. She got out of it, and pulled out her phone to call him.
The call was answered soon, and she said, " Gege, I am here. Where are you? "
" Right behind you. " She had him say. Ning Mei turned around and found him standing in front of his car, leaning on it.
She smiled and walked up to her and greeted him, " Hey.. let’s go in. I surely don’t want any of our potential threats to look at us together."
