As she was not in a place to say anything, Jiang Lihui just stood up from her chair and followed her daughter. She was scared that she would do something wrong at whim.

The four of them at the table, Ning Mei, Elder Ning, Ning Yiyi and Ning Yushen, now had their dinner quietly without talking to one another. It had turned irreversibly awkward. But not for Ning Mei.
