She as a new artist in the industry, did not want Ning Yiyi’s fans to think that she was hating or targeting Ning Yiyi in anyway. Instead, she would act nice and use Ning Yiyi’s own popularity for her own benefits then destroy her completly.

Ning Mei checked on the comments page and it was filled with congratulatory comments and comments about how beautiful she looked, how well she is doing, the fan’s love for her and so much more.

Ning Mei then shared Ning Yiyi’s post with the words like, [ Congratulations Senior Yiyi. You are creating a lot of benchmarks for the new artists like us. And you are truly a role model. Lots of good things to come to you. ( Heart emoji) ]

As Ning Mei was also some one with popularity now, her words too mattered somewhat. Though, she did not have any released projects yet, and not as popular as Ning Yiyi, she was still noticed by others.

As Ning Mei and Ning Yiyi did not have any visible feud known, between each other, they also had some common followers. And now also with her posting something positively about Ning Yiyi, it attracted new fans too.

[ Awwee, that was so Sweet of you. You will also reach success someday like, Yiyi. We will support you. ]

[ You are also so pretty. Work hard like Yiyi, and you will have bright future like her. ]

Ning Mei smiled looking at the comments, as she thought. I will surely work hard like her, but surely not do what she did.

One thing she learnt from the industry was that, have a loyal and strong fanbase, and learn to manage them, and most of your social problems will be taken by them.

Ning Mei received some comments from the fans. And while, she was replying to a few, Feng Ye’s text flew up, in the personal message box. [ So much of bootlicking. (Unamused face emoji) ]

Ning Mei laughed it off and replied, [ haha... Sometimes booklicking becomes necessary ( winking emoji)]

Then her phone started to ring, and the caller ID flashing on the screen brought a smile on her face.

Gu Corporations. CEO’s office.

" Hi. Are you getting ready for your plan for the evening. " Gu Yeze asked.

He could hear Ning Mei’s smiling voice as she replied, " Well not yet, but I will be making preparations now. First, I will go back to my apartment to bring the male clothes. They are still there. The dinner is at 8 anyway. "

Then she grinningly asked, " Why? How come my CEO Husband suddenly calls me at this time, between his super busy schedule? Have you been missing me, Hubby? "

Ning Mei smiled , as she bit her bottom lip and said, " Alright, come home. "

Gu Yeze smiled widely and he said, " When will your dinner get over? "

" I must be home before eleven, I guess. " Ning Mei said, and then heard him murmur, " Perfect. "

She raised a brow and asked, " Why? Is there some matter? "

" Not exactly. Alright, you should start get ready. And remember, to call me if something goes wrong. And keep me updated about you. " Gu Yeze said in the end.

Ning Mei laughed and said, " Alright, I will do as you say my husband. " And she hung up the call.

After hanging up the call, Gu Yeze looked at Wen Xiao who was sitting in front of him, doing something on his iPad, feigning deafness, as if he did not hear a word of romance, that his boss uttered.

Gu Yeze asked him, " Is everything going on as I asked there? "

Wen Xiao who raised his head now on being questioned, understood what his Boss meant and said, " Yes Boss. The decorator had just updated me a while ago. Everything is going as you asked for. "

" Good. " Gu Yeze nodded before both of them continued with their work.

Seven thirty in the evening. City centre.

Ning Jiming’s car pulled in the street. He was sitting in the driver’s seat with his hand on the steering. And his eyes were searching for someone... he himself did not know who.

After looking around aimlessly, when Ning Jiming was about to pull out his phone to call Ning Mei, he heard a knock on the passenger seats window pane.

He saw a man standing there, but his face wasn’t clearly visible.

He wind down the glass, and the man bent downwards, yet Ning Jiming could not see his face as half of his face was masked from the nose to the jaw.

Then he heard a masculine voice, " I am sent by Ning Mei. " Ning Jiming nodded and unlocked the car. His voice was oddly familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time.

The man got into the car, and sat in the passenger seat. And without wasting much time, Ning Jiming started the car and drove towards the Ning Mansion.

While driving, Ning Jiming glanced at the man side eyedly. This dude has been weirdly quiet for the last three minutes he has been in the car. Not a word was uttered by him. He took in the man’s appearance.

This man looked rather young, perhaps in his early twenties. He had worn a round neck black tee shirt, and loose black cargo pants. And a black jacket over it.
