Ning Mei searched for the room with a content heart. She was now completely assured that her brother was safe from every evil eyes and claws. And it was all thanks to her dear husband.
Ning Mei reached the room. She stood outside and took a deep breath. Smiling, Ning Mei pushed open the door to see Ning Jiming leaning against the headrest with a tray of fruits in his hands.
Ning Jiming was about to take a bite of his slice of apple, when the door swung open. And there stood a girl with a smile on her face.
Ning Mei entered the room and gently pushed the door close. She then came and and sat on the chair near his bed while, Ning Jiming looked at her dumbfoldedly. Ning Mei chuckled in her heart. Ofcourse, it was an expected reaction. How will be recognise her. They had not seen each other for a whole three years and on top of that he still thinks that I am in America.
Ning Mei chuckled softly looking her the brother, egi still continued to look at her and she opened her mouth, " Jimi- Oh! Eh? " Her words remained stuck in her mouth when she saw that she was pulled in a warm embrace.

Ning Mei felt happy but then again got disappointed. " This isn’t fair, Gege. I wanted to see that surprise in your face.. Why are you so smart?! "
Ning Jiming laughed and said, " Alright, alright. Let’s pretend I did not recognise you. And you come and tell me who you are. And I will act surprised, okay? "
Ning Mei narrowed her eyes when she heard about this childish game. But then, the next second she smiled brightly. Who cares though? She loved this childish games anyway!
So Ning Jiming took his earlier position, only that he wasn’t holding his apple in front of his mouth. And Ning Mei also straightened herself in the chair.

Ning Mei’s lips twitched threatening to breaking into a smile. She cleared her throat and said, " Brother? How can you not recognise me? I am Ning Mei. Your little sister! "

Both of them could not hold the drama any longer and burst out laughing. Ning Mei wiped the little tear she had in the corner of her eyes and said, " Oh my! That was good... Hehe." But then she felt Ning Jiming lightly hit on her head and she whined, " Ohh... What for?"

Ning Mei looked baffled hearing to his words. " You seriously...! This is what you are concerned about? You literally had an accident yesterday! You were literally almost dead yesterday! And unconscious for a whole 12 hours! Are you even getting it! "
Ning Jiming chuckled and rubbed Ning Mei’s head and said, " But my little tigress saved me yesterday, isn’t it?"
Ning Mei kept quiet and listened to him, " Somebody tried to kill me. And my sister saved me, carried me to the car like a superhero. Then drove me to the hospital. My tigress grew up so much."
Though Ning Jiming was heavily injured, and was losing his consciousness time and again. But before that, he saw a man standing there and click something in a remote kind of thing.
There was a collision with his car to something, followed by a loud explosion and his car flipped.
It all happened so fast that, Ning Jiming could not register anything before he found him in his flipped car heavily injured with a deadly head ache, and something warm liquid flow from his forehead.
