Gu Yeze smiled and kissed the crown of her head pulling Ning Mei to his chest, he said, " Come lets sleep. " Ning Mei cuddled comfortably him with and said, "Uhm.. okay. " And Gu Yeze pulled a comforter over them.
Though in his heart, he wanted to do a lot more to her, but her knew now was not the right time for it. Let them take it slow and, he could wait. Soon, Ning Mei drifted to sleep in Gu Yeze’s arms.

The next day, Ning Mei was getting ready for her shoot. Right now, she had already worn her costume and done her makeup for the scene. Ning Mei was in deep thought right now.
Ning Mei had wanted to go to the hospital first in the morning to meet her britger. So she had asked Gu Yeze today and he told her that the hospital had informed them that, Ning Jiming has still not gained consciousness. He would probably be waking up by noon.
Gu Yeze had told her not to worry and go to work with free mind. And that he would take care of everything else.
And it was not that, she did not trust his capabilities or anything. She had full trust on him. Infact, yesterday everything was done so perfectly when she herself was going through hectic things , that she was amazed.
If not for Gu Yeze, Ning Jiming’s life would still be in danger and then her’s too. She just could not be less grateful to her husband. Yet, she could not just shake off the ominous feeling in her heart.
To think that, she will be working with that witch right now, face to face. How infuriating!
Yu Lian watched Ning Mei being in her own deep thoughts, so she lightly patted her shoulder and asked, " Mei, are you fine? "
Ning Mei came out of her thoughts and said, " Oh? Yes. I am fine. Just some regular matters."
Yu Lian then grinned and teased her, " Or... Are you still dreaming about your handsome husband, huh?"
Ning Mei chuckled and winked, " Got me! "
Yu Lian giggled and then hooking her arm with Ning Mei’s, she said cheerfully, " Alright, let’s go. The shoot will be starting soon. " Ning Mei nodded and followed her out of the vanity.
Ning Mei did not want to tell Yu Lian about anything regarding her brother’s matter. As much as, she loved and trusted Yu Lian, Ning Mei did not want to drag Yu Lian into it, or take any kind of risk in this matter. As if was being kept a confidential matter, Ning Mei preferred it that way.

Earlier today morning, Ning Mei had told Gu Yeze about all the stuff that happened in the last two days concerning Ning Yiyi, Ning Jiming and that scared man, in complete details.
As last night, both of them were carried out by lust and pleasure, and they forgot to talk about this.
When she finished saying, Gu Yeze raised his brow and said, " Ning Yiyi, it is? Huh. "
Ning Mei scrutinted her eyes and looked at Gu Yeze with blaming gaze. And she said in a distant time, " Ofcourse, you must have quite an idea about her. "
" Huh? What do you mean? " Gu Yeze asked innocently. How will he have an idea about her so called sister? The villian of her life.
Ning Mei rolled her eyes and said, " No need to act innocent. I still remember you having her in your arms in that club! Huh! " Ning Mei felt her body burning with rage whenever she remembered that night.
" When...? " Gu Yeze really could not remember any details.
" Ma’am please respect yourself some more...! " Ning Mei taunted him by repeating his exact same words again.
Finally, after some time remembering what had happened that day. Gu Yeze now had to coax his wife saying that he really did not know who she was and it was a mere accident.
Atlast after hundreds of kisses and white some time of consoling, Ning Mei forgave Gu Yeze’s act of touching that woman.

When Yu Lian and Ning Mei reached the set, they saw that the shooting was about to start. Ning Mei took her script and skimed through it one again.
Upon being confident of herself that she would be able to perform well without any intentional mistakes, Ning Mei golden the paper and held it. She then lazily looked around and her eyes fell upon Ning Yiyi. She was currently conversing with Mu Xuke.
Ning Yiyi then said something to him, and Mu Xuke replied back, causing her to laugh due to some reason.
Ning Yiyi looked at the woman with cold gaze. And the more she stared at her, the more she remembered what she did.
Ning Mei’s mind played all those incidents from when she talked to that man in the parking lot, to that man almost killing her brother. Then, he memory also drifted back to three years back, when she heard the trio’s hateful words for her and her brother.
Ning Mei remembered all those and her blood boiled. She saw Ning Yiyi laughing again, with her hands covering her mouth gracefully. Graceful, my foot! A bitch, she is! A black hearted snake!
Ning Yiyi, you are going to pay so heavily for your actions. You just see!
Ning Mei’s mind was filled with hatred and thoughts of vengeance. And then she felt Yu Lian shaking her arm, " Mei mei! Hey? What is wrong? Why are you crushing your script like this? "
Ning Mei’s mind now cleared of the trance, she awkwardly laughed and waved her hand. " Oh, nothing. Nothing at all. " Then she noticed the paper to be horribly crushed, so she said, " Let me straighten it. " And she went and leaned down to the nearest table, straightening the paper.
Yu Lian turned and looked at the direction, Ning Mei was looking at, and she saw Ning Yiyi with all smiles talking to her Co Star. Yu Lian huffed and thought, " Meimei must have remembered the past again. This bloody witch, always comes to put an evil cast on my Meimei’s happiness! "
