Gu Yeze gritted his teeth in annoyance. Why did this filthy piece of plastic have to ring right at this moment?! He raised his head and looked at Ning Mei. And the way his gaze was, as if pleading her not to take the call right now. Ning Mei made a sorry face and picked the mobile and saw it was Yu Lian calling. She touched Gu Yeze’s face and mouthed, "Just a minute." She answered the call and said, "Yes, Lian."
"Mei, I am about to reach your apartment. Get ready quickly. I will be waiting down in the car. " Lian said in a hurry. "You remember we need to go to Koral’s office today, right?"
Ning Mei was now in short of breath because Gu Yeze had not stopped his sweet assault on her neck, ears and shoulders. Ning Mei moaned softly away from the phone and glared at Gu Yeze. She then cleared her throat and said, "Lian, I am not at home. You go to the office, I will be on my way."
Then came Yu Lian’s confused voice from the other side, "What do you mean, you are not at home? Tell me where you are, and I will pick you up. I haven’t done my breakfast yet. We both can have something yummy at the restaurant that’s opposite Koral, what say?"
Ning Mei breathed again and said, "There is no need for that. You reach there, and have something till then. I will reach soon."
"Okay, but why are you heaving so much? Are you alright? Ning Mei?" Yu Lian asked in concern.
"I am..." Ning Mei was about to reply. And before she could complete her sentence, Gu Yeze took the phone from her and answered, "She is completely fine and in good hands. You reach were you need to be. She will be there by an hour. " He literally had lost his patience. So much did he wait for these moments. And finally when he was getting it, no one is allowed to disturb them.
There on the other side, Yu Lian blinked her eyes in disbelief, as she heard the beep sound of the call getting disconnected. That was a man? But before she could think of anything else, a loud speaker boomed near her ears. "Was that a man?!!! " The call was on speaker, so the busybody Feng Ye who was sitting in the passenger seat heard everything and his brain has almost collided.
"Seemed like that. " Yu Lian replied in a trance. She couldn’t belive she heard a man’s voice. And together with the way she heard Ning Mei’s heaving voice, she couldn’t help but think naughty stuffs.
Feng Ye punched his palm with his fist and said with anger, concern , confusion and so many emotions in his face, "That fox! I will break her head of she doesn’t admit everything clear today and hides anything more! That girl is getting out of hands! Yu Lian looked at the huffing and puffing Feng Ye and said sighing, "Let’s go wait for her. "

After hanging out the call, Gu Yeze threw the phone on the bed. Ning Mei looked at him with wide stunned eyes. Gu Yeze asked, "Why? Do you have any problem if your husband answers your call? "
